<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to find out development of Amal Beach Tourism Object by the Department of Tourism Culture Youth and Sports. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative approach. There are four development focus in this study, namely Travel Attractions (Things), Accessibility, Infrastructure and Facilities (Amenitas), and tourism organizations. From the four focus of these studies there were some aspects of the development that has been successful, one of them is Amenitas with facilities which has already there completely and also the acomodation. But there are also aspects that still need to be considered one of Accessibility. There is still no public transportation from the center of the city to Amal Beach tourism object. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan objek wisata Pantai Amal yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Kebudayaan Pariwisata Pemuda dan Olahraga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Terdapat empat fokus pengembangan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu Daya Tarik Wisata ( Atraksi ), Aksesbilitas, Prasarana dan Sarana ( Amenitas ), dan organisasi kepariwisataan. Dari empat fokus penelitian tersebut ada beberapa aspek pengembangan yang sudah berhasil, salah satunya Amenitas dengan prasana yang telah tersedia dengan lengkap dan sarana akomodasi yang juga telah tersedia. Akan tetapi masih ada juga aspek yang masih perlu diperhatikan salah satunya Aksesbilitas. Belum tersediannya angkutan umum dari pusat kota menuju objek wisata Pantai Amal.
