<![CDATA[Multicultural Islamic Religious Education can become an Indonesian curriculum to develop the core values of the Islamic religion that are rahmatan lil alamin in the midst of multicultural Indonesian society. The aim of this research is to analyze the concept of multicultural Islamic education. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of literature study. The results of this research are the concept of developing multicultural Islamic education, which has at least two meanings, namely quantitative and qualitative development. Quantitatively, how can Islamic education that accommodates the spirit or values of multiculturalism have greater, more even and wider influence in the educational context in general, including in the lives of Indonesian society as a whole. As for qualitatively, how to make multicultural Islamic education better, better quality and more advanced in line with the basic values of Islamic teachings.]]>
