Abstract

Background: Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease that one still becomes a problem in Indonesia. It can become anoutbreak disease.Objective: To investigate Aedes aegypti behavior for spawn in the dark container and non dark container. Methods: The study method is quasi experimental research with the one shot case study design. Data analysis is using thedescriptive analysis and analytical analysis (t-test). Results: The study results shown the difference of Aedes aegypti larva mean in the dark container and non dark containerwhere p value = 0.001 (p<0.05, 95% CI).Conclusions: Aedes aegypti much more like for spawn in the dark container compare with non dark container.
