<![CDATA[ ABSTRACTUrinary tract infections are common in children, and are caused by using disposable diapers for a long time. This disease is the second most common infectious disease in children after upper respiratory tract infections. Objective: The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of video education for mothers regarding the success of being free from diapers on the incidence of urinary tract infections in children aged 1-5 years at the South Tangerang City General Hospital. Method: This research uses quantitative methods and uses a pre-experimental research design with a one group pre and post test design consisting of one group. Sampling was used using a non-probability sampling method with total sampling technique in children aged 1-5 years at the South Tangerang City General Hospital (n=32). The data was then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test (p-value < 0.05). Results: Obtained the incidence of UTI in children aged 1-5 years before being given video education (Pretest) success in being free from diapers with the results of a small percentage of mild UTIs as many as 8 respondents (25%), and the majority of severe UTIs as many as 24 respondents (75%) and after given video education (Posttest) on the success of being diaper free with the majority of results being mild UTIs as many as 26 respondents (81.2%), and a small number of severe UTIs as many as 6 respondents (18.8%). Statistical Test Results: The mean value of the incidence of UTI was obtained before video education was given to mothers about the success of being free from diapers, the value was 2.94, then the increase in the incidence of UTI in the mild category after being given video education on the success of being free from diapers, the value was 4.47, which means that the higher the value obtained by the respondent, the more effective educational animation on the success of being free from diapers, the p-value = 0.000 < a = 0.05 can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: This study shows that there is the effectiveness of video education for mothers about the success of being diaper free for children aged 1-5 years with urinary tract infections. Suggestion: Parents are expected to pay more attention to their children's success in being diaper free so that children can be independent and not depend on diapers.Keywords: Children, Diapers, Education Videos, UTI ABSTRAKInfeksi saluran kemih sering terjadi pada anak-anak, dan disebabkan oleh penggunaan popok sekali pakai untuk waktu yang lama. Penyakit ini menempati urutan kedua penyakit infeksi tersering pada anak setelah infeksi saluran nafas atas. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Edukasi Vidio Pada Ibu Tentang Keberhasilan Bebas Diapers Terhadap Kejadian Infeksi Saluran Kemih Pada Anak Usia 1-5 Tahun Di Rumah Sakit Umum Kota Tangerang Selatan. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan menggunakan desain penelitian Pre eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pre and posttest design yang terdiri dari satu kelompok. Pengambilan sampel digunakan dengan metode non probability sampling dengan tehnik total sampling pada anak usia 1-5 tahun di Rumah Sakit Umum Kota Tangerang Selatan (n=32). Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon (p-value a 0,05). Hasil: Diperoleh kejadian ISK pada anak usia 1-5 tahun sebelum diberikan edukasi video (Pretest) keberhasilan bebas diapers dengan hasil sebagian kecil ISK ringan sebanyak 8 responden (25%), dan sebagian besar ISK berat sebanyak 24 responden (75%) dan sesudah diberikan edukasi video (Posttest) keberhasilan bebas diapers dengan hasil sebagian besar ISK ringan sebanyak 26 responden (81,2%), dan sebagian kecil ISK berat sebanyak 6 responden (18,8%). Hasil Uji Statistik: Didapatkan nilai mean kejadian ISK sebelum diberikan edukasi video pada ibu tentang keberhasilan bebas diapers didapatkan nilai sebanyak 2.94 kemudian meningkat kejadian ISK kategori ringan setelah diberikan edukasi video keberhasilan bebas diapers didapatkan nilai sebanyak 4.47 yang berarti semakin tinggi nilai yang didapatkan responden maka semakin efektif edukasi animasi keberhasilan bebas diapers, didapatkan nilai p-value = 0,000 a = 0,05 dapat di simpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha di terima. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa adanya efektivitas edukasi video pada ibu tentang keberhasilan bebas diapers terhadap anak usia 1-5 tahun dengan kejadian infeksi saluran kemih. Saran: Orang tua diharapkan lebih memperhatikan anak dalam keberhasilan bebas diapers sehingga anak dapat mandiri dan tidak bergantung pada diapers. Kata Kunci: Anak, Diapers, Edukasi Video, ISK ]]>
