<![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the problems faced by Islamic institutions in efforts to improve the quality of education in the millennial era. This research uses a qualitative approach with a variety of library research or literature searches. The references in question are references obtained from books, journals, research report articles and various sites on the internet, research methods that are appropriate to the research objectives and available resources. The combination of several research methods can also provide a more complete picture of the problems of Islamic educational institutions in improving the quality of education in the millennial era. The purpose of research is to strengthen the problems found as a theoretical basis for conducting studies. This research is educational which highlights the main challenges faced by Islamic educational institutions and seeks possible solutions to overcome these problems. This research can be concluded that Islamic education needs to overcome challenges such as curriculum adjustments, the use of technology in learning, developing teacher competencies, and challenges in facing complex social developments in the millennial era.
