Abstract

Abstrak Untuk memastikan pembelajaran, pengajaran dan administrasi pendidikan oleh guru dapat terlaksana dengan baik maka diperlukan pula peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor untuk melakukan supervisi pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan supervisi klinis, upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran guru, dan mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi supervisi klinis kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran guru SD Negeri 2 Way Serdang Kabupaten Mesuji Lampung. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan prosedur observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru terbiasa mengeluarkan keluh kesahnya dalam pembelajaran dengan teman sejawat maupun pimpinan serta berharap mendapat solusi melalui supervisi klinis, Upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran guru oleh kepala sekolah yaitu melalui implementasi supervisi klinis pada 3 indikator utama pembelajaran yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran guru. Kendala yang ditemui pada supervisi klinis yaitu adanya perubahan kurikulum dan kurang aktifnya dinas pendidikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan supervisi kepala sekolah. Adapun solusi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah yaitu membentuk Tim Supervisi yang anggotanya terdiri dari guru PNS senior dan membangun komunikasi yang intensif dan efektif terkait pentingnya supervisi klinis.. Kata Kunci: Supervisi Klinis; Kualitas Pembelajaran. Abstract To ensure that learning, teaching and administration of education by teachers can be carried out properly, the role of the principal as a supervisor is also needed to supervise education. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of clinical supervision, efforts to improve the quality of teacher learning, and to describe the constraints and solutions of school principals' clinical supervision in improving the quality of learning for elementary school teachers 2 Way Serdang, Mesuji District, Lampung. With a qualitative descriptive approach, data collection was carried out using observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation procedures. The results of the study show that teachers are accustomed to expressing their complaints in learning with colleagues and leaders and hope to get a solution through clinical supervision. Efforts to improve the quality of teacher learning by the principal are through the implementation of clinical supervision on 3 main indicators of learning, namely: planning, implementation and evaluation teacher learning. Obstacles encountered in clinical supervision were curriculum changes and the inactivity of the education office in improving the supervisory abilities of school principals. The solution adopted by the school principal is to form a Supervision Team whose members consist of senior state teachers and build intensive and effective communication regarding the importance of clinical supervision.
