<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Asma merupakan salah sau penyakit pernapasan yang banyak dijumpai pada anak-anak maupun dewasa. Asma adalah penyakit yang heterogen, yang dikarakteristik oleh adanya inflamasi kronis pada saluran pernapasan, hal ini ditentukan oleh adanya gangguan pernapasan seprti sesak, mengi, napas terengah-engah, dada terasa berat. Gejala asma disebabkan oleh penyempitan saluran pernapasan, batuk dan mengi.Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi buteyko terhadap penurunan frekuensi pernapasan pada penderita asma. Metode : Penulis menggunakan metode Pre experimental one shoot study case pre and post test design. Terapi buteyko dilakukan selam 10-15 menit. Hasil penelitian : Terapi buteyko yang dilakukan pada Ny. M berpengaruh dalam penurunan frekuensi pernapasan. Kesimpulan : Hasil implementasi yang dilakukan pada Ny. M mendapatkan hasil yaitu terapi buteyko dapat mempengaruhi penurunan frekuensi pernapasan pada pasien asma. Method : The author uses the Pre experimental one shoot study case pre and post test design method. Buteyko therapy is carried out for 10-15 minutes. Research Result : Buteyko therapy carried out on Mrs. M has an effect on reducing respiratory rate.
