Technology, which is transforming rapidly in this era of disruption, is bringing about changes in the old order of social life to a new order. It is certain that this will also bring about changes in the learning of Islamic Religious Education, especially in the use of learning strategies to suit the progress of the era of disruption. This research aims to find solutions to problems in learning Islamic religious education in madrasas in order to achieve effective results in creating students who have Islamic character and are responsive to developments in science and technology. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, data is obtained through observation, documentation and interviews with students, teachers and school principals, the sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The research results show that the Islamic Religious Education learning strategy that is in line with the era of disruption is by utilizing digital media accompanied by the implementation of interactive and active learning methods. This research has implications for the importance of using digital media in Islamic Religious Education learning so that learning runs effectively.
