Abstract

This istudy iaims ito ianalyze ithe iinhibiting ifactors iof iearly ireading iin ifirst igrade istudents iat SD-IP iNurul iIhsan iAsri iMedan iDeli. iThe iresearch imethod iuses ia idescriptive iqualitative approach. iData icollection itechniques iinclude iobservation, iinterviews, iand idocumentation studies. iResearch isubjects iwere iprincipals, iteachers, iand ifirst igrade istudents. iData ianalysis uses iMiles iand iHuberman's iinteractive imodel. The results of the study are expected to identify inhibiting factors for early reading from the side of teachers, students, learning processes, infrastructure, and the environment, as well as how students undergo learning with these obstacles. This research is expected to provide information and solutions to overcome obstacles in early reading learning.
