Abstract

Communicative approach (al-madhal al-ittishaly) in Arabic languagelearning comprises of four language competences: listening (istima’),speaking (kalam), reading (qiraah), and writing (kitabah). Communicativeapproach (al-madhal al-ittishaly) is aimed at stimulating students tolearning activity. The use of communication approach needs learningactivities that enable students to share information or held socialinteraction (dialog, simulation, debating, and another discussion activities)in its general sense.
