Jurnal Al Bayan: Jurnal Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab published twice a year since 2010 (June and December). Since 2017 this journal began in the online, is a multilingual (Indonesia, Arabic, and English), peer-reviewed journal, and specializes in Arabic Education. This journal is published by the Arabic Education Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching, Raden Intan State Islamic University of Lampung. Editors welcome scholars, researchers and practitioners of Arabic Education to submit scholarly articles to be published through this journal. All articles will be reviewed by experts before accepted for publication. Each author is solely responsible for the content of published articles.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe information technology plays an urgent role in our everyday life and in the practice of education as well. When it is well-planned and prepared, it has effective functions as the media of learning. Therefore, for the sake of making an active and dynamic process of learning and accomplishing the learning objectives, the Arabic lecturers/teachers must create an interesting, inovative, effective and creative learning practices. The technology, media of learning, as well as learning strategy the lectures/teachers take and implement will seriousely influence the output of students’ learning. Electronic Learning and i-learning (iPad learning) are two medias of Arabic learning that use internet in learning process. If it is well-prepared it will automatically raise the learning output. إن اللغة العربية لغة فذةٌ فريدةٌ من نوعها، سواءٌ أكان ذلك من حيث ولادتها وتكوُّنها ونشأتها، أم من حيث مقوماتها ومكوناتها وعناصرها، ومن حيث مبادئها وأسسها وقواعدها، ومن حيث نواميسها وسننها وقوانينها، ومن حيث خصائصها وسماتها ومميزتها، ومن حيث بالتالي- فلستها وعلمها وفقهها، وبذالك فإنها لا تشبه لغة من اللغات، فهي نسيج وحدها بينها جميعاً.كليمة رئيسية: خصائص اللغة العربية وأهمّيتها.

Abstract

 Abstract This article explains systematically the nature of contrastive analysis in language learning. Throughout this article the writer investigates the development of contrastive analysis in the field of language learning, its main objectives, some hypotheses and criticisms on it as well. Abstract

Listening competence is a kind of language competence and it is receptive in essence. Listening competence was firstly recognized officially as a main subject in foreign language teaching in 1970 and was begun by the birth of the theory of Total PsysicalResponse (TPS) of James Asher, The Natural Approach, and Silent Period. Learning strategy is an art of designing all learning activities in the classroom. Language learning strategy is teacher’s activities concerning his/her lesson plan; and listening learning strategy is an art of designing all learning activities in the classroom for improving students’ listening competence: students’ competences to re-inform their understanding through both speaking and writing’s competences. This article tries to elaborate several key issues about the definition of listening, its learning objectives and listening learning process, learning strategy and evaluation in the end of the class as well.

Abstract

Bahan ajar atau materi pembelajaran merupakan hal yang sangat penting dan merupakan faktor yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap mutu pendidikan.Peran bahan ajar dalam proses pembelajaran selain sebagai alat bantu komunikasi untuk menyampaikan pesan guru kepada siswa, bahan ajar juga efektif untuk membantu siswa dalam mempelajari lebih lanjut materi yang belum dipahami. Pengembangan bahan ajar juga perlu dilakukan, untuk meningkatkan kulaitas pembelajaran. Penggunaan modul dalam pembelajaran merupakan salah satu langkah yang dapat untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran  pada siswa. Penggunaan modul diharapkan dapat mengkondisikan kegiatan pembelajaran lebih terencana dengan baik, mandiri, tuntas, dan dengan hasil (output) yang berkualitas. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan  mengembangkan modul tarakib di kelas VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan (RD). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka temuan yang dihasilkan bahwa hasil validasi dari ahli materi dinyatakan baik dengan rata-rata 78%, kemudian hasil validasi dari ahli media dinyatakan sangat baik dengan rata-rata 88%. Hasil validasi dari guru bahasa Arab sebesar 82% dengan kriteria interpretasi sangat baik.Hasil uji coba respon siswa menyatakan bahwa modul tarakib sangat menarik, yang artinya siswa mampu memahami modul tarakib dengan baik.Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi, ahli media, guru, serta respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa modul dalam kriteria layak untuk digunakan sebgai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab pada materi tarakib.Modul sebagai bahan ajar mandiri, modul diharapkan dapat mengkondisikan kegiatan pembelajaran lebih terencana dengan baik, tuntas, dan dengan hasil yang berkualitas

وهذه الكتابة تتحدث عن اللغة العربية وبعض الأسس والمداخل لتعليمها التي تشتمل على البُعْدَين: وهما الأسس التدريسية والمداخل التعليمية. فالبُعْدُ الأول يحتوى على أساس أولويات التقديم، وأساس الدقّة، وأساس التدرّج، وأساس التشويق، ثم أساس الصلابة والمتانة. وأما البُعْدُ الثاني فيتكون من المدخل الإنساني، والمدخل التقني، والمدخل التحليلي وغير التحليلي، ثم المدخل الاتصالي. وهذه الأبعاد تكون بحوثاً متكاملةً لهذه الكتابة العلمية

Abstract

Master study program of Arabic Education (PBA) in UIN Raden Intan Lampung Postgraduate was established in 2017. The draft curriculum for this study program has not been reviewed and validated according to the needs of the graduates. In the curriculum, a formulation of graduates’ profile is needed. This research aims to determine the perceptions of Stakeholders about the profile of master study program of Arabic Education (PBA) graduates of UIN Raden Intan Lampung is as their expectation and the demand of the IQF (Indonesian Qualification Framework) level 8 in applied master program.This research was conducted in qualitative with Survey method. Data collection instruments include questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data is analyzed in qualitative. The survey results of stakeholders are known that the profile of the main graduates of master study program of Arabic Education (PBA) in UIN Raden Intan Lampung Postgraduate is as a teacher of Arabic in the Bachelor program (S1), supporting profiles as researchers, Arabic Education designers and the preferred profiles as Arabic philologists or journalists. The formulation of the Graduate Profile has implications for curriculum development and the preparation of the documents.

Abstract

Abstract      The objective of this research is to find out the effects of the instructional strategies and the schemata level on the Arabic comprehension. The research was conducted at the Departement of Arabic Education, the State institute of Islamic Studies Raden Intan Lampung. The sample size was 35, which were selected at random. The results of the research showed that the DRTA strategy gave better result than SQ3R. The students with the high level of schemata taught with DRTA gave better result than the group with SQ3R. The group having low schemata level taught with DRTA provided lower result than the group with SQ3R. There was an interaction effect between the instructional strategy and the schemata level on the comprehensive skill of Arabic reading. Based on the finding it is concluded that the instructional strategy and the schemata level gave effects on the students’ reading comprehension. It is recommended the lecturers consider the schemata level with appropriate strategy.Keywords:Teaching Strategy of Reading, DRTA, SQ3R Schemata.

Abstract

Personality is a compact word, easy to say, but how difficult to realize. Etymologically, the personality comes from the Latin language persona. This word refers to a mask or a mask used by actors in classical drama. Personality is the very nature which is reflected in the attitudes and actions of a person or a nation that sets it unique from people or other nations. In Islamic educational context, personality is as characteristic and also identity of Islam, the religion that since the fall carries out the mandate to enhance the personality and noble character. Personality itself can be judged only when the research has done and met the scientific criteria. There for, the personality can be taught in schools, introduced to the students through habituation, ideals and ethics. In the al-Qur’an frequently mentioned term about the formation and development of the human personality, the factors that influence it and also how to handle it. Muslims and believers from the perspective of Islam are those who always train their heart and not easily angry (patient), tawakkal, generous, obedient to Allah, as well as maintaining the attitude and deed of the tendency of his own lust
