Abstract

This study aims to describe the lesson plan, the implementation of learning, and assessment of learning in text observations material through Problem Based Learning model on students of class VII SMP Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung. The classroom action research is used in this study. The result of this study shows that the learning of the text of the result of observation through the Problem Based Learning, from the aspect of lesson plan preparation has been very well, the learning implementation aspect has changed the learning environment becomes more attective and have increased student activity in learning and learning to write the text of observations has increased. The first cycle, the students get the average value of 74,17 unfinished category, whereas the second cycle, the students get the average value of 92,78 complete category.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran materi teks hasil observasi melalui model problem based learning pada Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam 2 (dua) siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, pembelajaran materi teks hasil observasi melalui model problem based learning pada siklus II berdasarkan aspek penyusunan RPP telah disusun sangat baik, aspek pelaksanaan pembelajaran telah mengubah suasana pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik, dan meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran, serta pembelajaran menulis teks hasil observasi mengalami peningkatan. Siklus pertama, siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 74,17 kategori belum tuntas, sedangkan siklus kedua, siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 92,78 kategori tuntas.Kata kunci : problem based learning, teks hasil observasi, hasil belajar
