Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (a) Mengetahui karakteristik bahan penyusun campuran laston (AC-WC) dan (b) Mengetahui pengaruh lama perendaman air hujan terhadap kinerja laston (AC-WC) berdasarkan uji Marshall. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (a) karakteristik bahan penyusun campuran laston (AC-WC) memenuhi syarat yang ditentukan dalam spesifikasi , (b) hasil pengujian pengaruh lama perendaman air hujan diperoleh nilai stabilitas terus mengalami penurunan; nilai kelelehan plastis (flow) mengalami peningkatan; nilai Marshall Quotient konsisten mengalami penurunan; nilai VIM terus meningkat; nilai VMA terus mengalami peningkatan dan nilai VFB menurun secara konsisten.Kata-kata kunci: perendaman, laston (AC-WC), uji Marshall.Abstract: The objectives of this research are: (a) To know the characteristics of composite material of laston mixture (AC-WC) and (b) to know the effect of rain water immersion period on laston performance (AC-WC) based on Marshall test. The results of this study show that (a) the characteristics of composite materials of the laston mixture (AC-WC) fulfill the requirements specified in the specification; (b) the results of testing the effect of the duration of rain water immersion; The value of plastic melt has increased; The value of Marshall Quotient consistently decreases; VIM values continue to increase; VMA values continue to increase and the value of VFB decreases consistently.Key Words: immersion, laston (AC-WC), Marshall test.
