PENAMPILAN GALUR HARAPAN KEDELAI TOLERAN KEKERINGAN DI KABUPATEN GARUT JAWA BARAT

Abstract

Potensi lahan untuk pengembangan kedelai cukup luas namun menghadapi kendala terutama pada musimkemarau dalam penyediaan kebutuhan air untuk pertumbuhan tanaman, sehingga menyebabkan kekeringan yangberakibat pada rendahnya produksi kedelai. Untuk menanggulangi hal tersebut perlu dikembangkan varietaskedelai yang tahan terhadap cekaman kekeringan (toleran kekeringan). Oleh karena itu kombinasi perakitanvarietas unggul baru yang toleran kekeringan dan efisiensi pengelolaan air merupakan upaya/pendekatan yangpotensial untuk menekan penurunan hasil biji kedelai. Pengkajian dilakukan di Desa Cinunuk Tengah,Kecamatan Wanaraja, Kabupaten Garut dengan menanam galur-galur harapan kedelai hasil rakitan Balitkabidengan menanam 10 galur harapan kedelai termasuk 2 varietas pembanding (GHK 1, GHK 2, GHK 3, GHK 4,GHK 5, GHK 6, GHK 7, GHK 8, GHK 9, GHK 10, Varietas Wilis dan Tidar). Pengkajian dirancangmenggunakan rancangan acak kelompok, galur harapan yang akan diuji sebanyak 10 galur harapan sebagaiperlakuan (galur hasil rakitan Balitkabi) dan 2 varietas sebagai pembanding dan diulang tiga kali dengan ukuranpetak 4 x 5 m. Pemberian pupuk organik (dosis 2 t/ha) dan pupuk an organik (Urea 50 kg/ha, SP-36 100 kg/hadan KCl 75 kg/ha) diberikan pada saat tanam. Pupuk organik diberikan satu genggam per lubang untuk menutuplubang tanam. Parameter yang diamati meliputi keragaan tanaman kedelai, hasil dan komponen hasil. Datadianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji Duncan pada taraf 0.05. Hasil pengkajian menunjukan bahwa galur harapanGHK-4, 9 dan 10 mempunyai potensi hasil tinggi (2,5 t/ha) biji kering.Kata Kunci : Galur, kedelai, toleran kekeringanABSTRACTPotential land for soybean development is quite extensive but face obstacles especially in the dry seasonin the provision of water requirements for plant growth, thus causing drought which resulted in lower soybeanproduction. To overcome this needs to be developed soybean varieties that are resistant to drought stress(drought tolerant). Therefore, the combination assembly new varieties that are tolerant of drought and watermanagement efficiency is the effort / potential approach to suppress the reduction in seed yield of soybean.Assessments conducted in the Middle Cinunuk Village, District Wanaradja, Garut by planting soybean strainsexpectations Balitkabi assembly results with 10 strains of hope planted soybean varieties including twocomparators (GHK 1, GHK 2, GHK 3, GHK 4, GHK 5, GHK 6 , GHK 7, GHK 8, GHK 9, GHK 10, Variety Wilisand Tidar). The assessment was designed using a randomized block design, and threads of hope that will betested as many as 10 strains of hope as a treatment (strain results Balitkabi assemblies) and 2 varieties forcomparison and repeated three times with a plot size of 4 x 5 m. Organic fertilizers (dose of 2 t / ha) and anorganic fertilizer (Urea 50 kg / ha, SP-36 100 kg / ha and KCl 75 kg / ha) was given at the time of planting.Organic fertilizers are given a handful per planting hole to seal the hole. The parameters observed includekeragaan soybean crop, yield and yield components. Data were analyzed using Duncan's test at level 0.05. Theresults of the assessment showed that the strain of hope GHK-4, 9 and 10 have the potential for high yield (2.5 t /ha) of dry beans.Keywords: Strain, soybean, drought tolerant
