Abstract

ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang ketoprofen, penetapan kadarnya dalam sediaan gel dengan metode spektrofotometri ultraviolet-visibel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan validasi penetapan kadar ketoprofen secara spektrofotometri ultraviolet-visibel. Validasi metode analisis meliputi linearitas, batas deteksi, batas kuantitasi, ketelitian, dan kecermatan. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa metode spektrofotometri ultraviolet-visibel dapat digunakan untuk menetapkan kadar ketoprofen dalam sediaan gel. Kadar ketoprofen kedua gel menunjukan tidak ada perbedaan kadar ketoprofen yang signifikan di antara kedua merk yang dianalisis. Kata kunci: ketoprofen gel, penetapan kadar, validasi metode, spektrofotometri ultraviolet-visibel. ABSTRACT The assay of ketoprofen in gel using ultraviolet – visible spectrophotometry method had been conducted. The purpose of this experiment is validation of ketoprofen determination method using ultraviolet – visible spectrophotometry. The validation of method in this study consisted of linearity, limit of detection, limit of quantitation, precision, and accuracy. The result of analysis is ultraviolet – visible spectrophotometry method can be used for determination of ketoprofen gel. The result of ketoprofen gel determination obtained not different significantly. Key words: ketoprofen gel, determination validation method, ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry.
