Jurnal Teknologi dan Sistem Komputer (JTSiskom, e-ISSN: 2338-0403) adalah terbitan berkala online nasional yang diterbitkan oleh Departemen Teknik Sistem Komputer, Universitas Diponegoro, Indonesia. JTSiskom menyediakan media untuk mendiseminasikan hasil-hasil penelitian, pengembangan dan penerapannya di bidang teknologi dan sistem komputer, meliputi sistem embedded, robotika, rekayasa perangkat lunak dan jaringan komputer. Lihat fokus dan ruang lingkup JTSiskom. JTSiskom terbit 4 (empat) nomor dalam satu tahun, yaitu bulan Januari, April, Juli dan Oktober (lihat Tanggal Penting). Artikel yang dikirimkan ke jurnal ini akan ditelaah setidaknya oleh 2 (dua) orang reviewer. Pengecekan plagiasi artikel dilakukan dengan Google Scholar dan Turnitin. Artikel yang telah dinyatakan diterima akan diterbitkan dalam nomor In-Press sebelum nomor regular terbit. JTSiskom telah terindeks DOAJ, BASE, Google Scholar dan OneSearch.id Perpusnas. Lihat daftar pengindeks. Artikel yang dikirimkan harus sesuai dengan Petunjuk Penulisan JTSiskom. JTSiskom menganjurkan Penulis menggunakan aplikasi manajemen referensi, seperti Mendeley, Endnote atau lainnya. Penulis harus register ke jurnal atau jika telah teregister, dapat langsung log in dan melakukan lima langkah submisi artikel. Penulis harus mengupload Pernyataan Pengalihan Hak Cipta saat submisi. Artikel yang terbit di JTSiskom akan diberikan nomer identifier unik (DOI/Digital Object Identifier) dan tersedia serta bebas diunduh dari portal JTSiskom ini. Penulis tidak dipungut biaya baik untuk pengiriman artikel maupun pemrosesan artikel (lihat APC/Article Processing Charge). Jurnal ini mengimplementasikan sistem LOCKSS untuk pengarsipan secara terdistribusi di jaringan LOCKSS privat.

Abstract

This study aims to implement steganography with 4 bit LSB method combined with Vigenere and substitution encryption algorithms. This combination strengthens the security of text messages that are inserted into the image because the message is already a ciphertext as the result of the Vigenere and substitution encryption process. This steganography is realized as an application that runs on Android devices. This application can insert text messages that contain space characters and a combination of uppercase letters in a digital image. Using this application, insertion of messages into images causes the increase of images size by an average of 12.77% of the original size from 10 sample images.

Abstract

This research compared the accuracy of prediction of Grade Point Average (GPA) of the first semester students using C4.5 and CART algorithms in Faculty of Information Technology (FTI), Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW). This research also explored various parameters such as numeric attribute categorization, data balance, GPA categories number, and different attributes availability due to the difference of data availability between Achievement Admission (AA) and Regular Admission (RA). The training data used to create decision tree were FTI students, 2008-2015 batch, while the testing data were FTI students, 2016 batch. The accuracy of prediction was measured by using crosstab table. In AA, the accuracy of both algorithms can be achieved about 86.86%. Meanwhile, in RA the accuracy of C4.5 is about 61.54% and CART is about 63.16%. From these accuracy result, both algorithms are better to predict AA rather than RA.

Abstract

Medicinal plants can be used as an alternative natural treatment, instead of chemical drugs. But because of too many types of plants and lack of knowledge, it will be difficult to identify these herbs. Computer assistance can be used to facilitate the identification of these herbs. This research proposes the identification of herbal plants based on leaf image using texture analysis. There are 10 types of herbal medicinal plants used in this study. The texture analysis used was GLCM by extracting contrast, correlation, energy, and homogeneity. Classification is done by KNN. The result of the experiment showed that the accuracy of identification using 9-fold cross-cross validation method was 83.33% using 9 subsets.

Abstract

This paper presents a new approach in designing an ultra wideband minimum dispersion antenna optimally to avoid the degradation of broadband communications system performance. Design and iterative optimization are applied to an arbitrary shape of planar monopole antenna using a genetic algorithm combined with the moment method, abbreviated as AGMM method, and implemented with Matlab. Two arbitrary shapes of planar monopole antennas have been implemented in compact physical size using AGMM optimization, each having 9.1 GHz and 7.4 GHz bandwidths, the lowest frequency of 1.9 GHz and 2.7 GHz and fidelity 0.6 and 0.64 for any arbitrary discrete antenna and edge profile antenna. This method can be applied to design any arbitrary shapes of an ultra-wideband antenna with each has wide bandwidth more than 7 GHz, the lowest frequency below 3 GHz and a minimum fidelity of 0,55 that is suitable for high- speed communication, such as 5G system.

Abstract

At present time, the people who use vehicles on the campus is increasing. It makes more difficult to find an empty slot parking area on the campus. This study aims to develop a system parking reservation and monitoring on-campus area using NFC and IoT concept. NFC was used to confirm booking code that generated by the system. In the parking area, ultrasonic sensors were installed to detect parking space availability. IoT concept has been applied to build this system. Apps on users smartphone can do the reservation process to the desired parking location via internet. Black box testing was done by building a prototype using the number of data locations parking slots in the Andalas University. The test results showed that this system has been able to detect the location of vacant parking slots and do reservations with time for sending data to the server is 0.7952 sec.

Abstract

This research aims to design fire early warning system using Arduino and Android with Bluetooth communication. The system is constructed using three sensors which are KY-026 flame detector, DS18B20 temperature sensor, and MQ-07 gas sensor. The communication used HC-05 Bluetooth module to send sensor data from Arduino to Android. Testing results show that Arduino through Bluetooth communication able to send sensor data to Android within range of 20 cm with no obstacle condition and range of 10 cm if there exists the obstacle. The system will send ‘normal’ status to Android when fulfilled this conditions: flame sensor value less than 200, temperatures less than 30°C, and gas levels less than 300 ppm. There are seven other conditions that contain ‘warning’ and ‘danger’ data if those condition above not fulfilled.

Abstract

This research developed expert system using fuzzy Mamdani to diagnose the spread of diseases affecting the growth of chili plants based on environmental factors. Environmental variables used as fuzzy input parameters are soil pH, air temperature, air humidity and solar irradiation. The input-output relationship uses 81 rules with the AND operator and the MIN implication function. For a case, the results showed that the percentage of the potential spread of the disease showed 60.25%, so the category of potential disease spread with soil PH 7.5 pH, 28 ° C air temperature and air humidity 75 RH and 35% sun irradiance is moderate.
