Abstract

Job satisfaction in an organization plays an important part in employees’ performance. It has connection with commitment and work atmosphere in the organization. With referrence to the previous study  on the issue within office of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, there seem to exist problems in the issue. The paper further makes an account of job satisfaction in the organization. Using quantitative method, the finding of the study is that work atmosphere plays more significant part in maintaining job satisfaction among the employees of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs than that contributed by commitment. Keywords : Organization’s commitment, work atmosphere, employees’ job satisfaction

Abstract

Since 2003 Bali Concord II that  sett up  (ASEAN Economic Community/AEC, Indonesia has been engaged in the efforts of strengthening the country especially setting forth economic policy that is condusive to achieving the country’s level of competition. The paper shall deal with challenges that Indonesia has faced in the issue. The challenges that are identified include balance of trade, dependable entrepreneurs, and rate of productivity of manpower.How has the government come up with sound economic policies? The account finds that the most recent economic policies of Joko Widodo have not achieved better results in coping the cahallenges. Keywords : Economic policy, State, Competition, ASEAN Economic Community.

Abstract

This article attempts to explain the Brexit phenomenon from the standpoint of international relations. The Brexit referendum is a milestone of the UK that decide to leave from the European Union, which has never been a member country that came out before, of course, provide a very spacious negative and positive impacts for the England, the United Kingdom and of course the rest of the World. England’s choice to withdraw from membership in the European Union of course should be respected, but if the terms of the International Relations science it can be interpreted as a discovery of meaning back from the perspective of realism that has long been considered obsolete and is currently the England prefer to give priority to the country's sovereignty. Keywords: Brexit, Referendum, Sovereignty

Abstract

           Wayang  was born almost 34 century ago and modern Indonesian  literatur was born almost a century ago. As integral part of modern society as well as an imagiation and creativity, literature also carries a social funtion. At certain periods literature can also be functioned as conservation of national enthusiasm, law,economic, convention, ethics, and other social systems. Modern Indonesian Literature, especially when it is viewed through its caracterization element is conceptually a combination between modernization and tradition. Its form, content, and narative structure were influenced by Western literary tradition, novelistic convention. Abstract

          In addition to the free trade accord of Bali II, Indonesia has also agreed to implement ACFTA with RRChina and Hongkong. Four schemes agreed up on are Early Harvest Program (EHP), Normal Track (NT) Sensitive Track (ST) and Highly Sensitive Track (HST). The  method used in the study is applying  New Trade Theory model, i.e. involving Comparative Advantage determinants, along with regression analysis. The study  focuses on  data on export volume of  1996 up to  2013 on three-monhly basis. The finding of the study is that certain commodities have gained promising export in 2010; steady export growth has been experienced by two commodities numbered as 87 and 27 at the schemes.   The number 26 commodity at the scheme experienced the decline. Keywords: ACFTA schemes, exsport from Indonesia, RR China, Hongkong

Abstract

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia hosted the 5th Extraordinary Summit Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Palestine and Al-Quds Al-Sharif in Jakarta on March 7, 2016. The event reflects the Islamic identity in Indonesia’s foreign policy. The event is analyzed by the constructivist perspective. In constructivist perspective, interests and State's behavior are influenced by the meaning States’s identity. The identity is the result of a State’s internal and external preference. Islamic identity embodied in Indonesia's interests to get recognition, economic interests and the protection of Indonesian Workers in Middle East Countries. Keywords: Identity, Interests, Foreign Policy

Abstract

This study tries to disentangle whether governance and fiscal decentralization in Indonesia improves economic growth in 1984 – 2014. Also, it investigates whether there is causality in governance-fiscal decentralization-growth in Indonesia. The results run by OLS (Ordinary Least Square) and VECM (Vector Error Correction Model) method provide different intrepretation, however one could argue that VECM can best describe the relationship between growth and governance as well fiscal decentralization both in short and long run since simple OLS are usefull when all variables are stationary at level Keywords : Governance, Fiscal, Decentralization, Growth, Indonesia
