Abstract

Indicators of student success in the academic at university is the Cumulative grade point average (GPA). Assessed from the Selection Pathways students for State Universities, it is suspected that there are differences in the academic achievement of students. Therefore, this study aims to determine and analyze the academic achievement of students based on the Selection Pathways students at the Department of Informatics Engineering, ITERA. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study were all students who still active at the Department of Informatics Engineering generation 2017, 2018, and 2019. The samples of this study were 239 (SNMPTN), 239 (SBMPTN), and 35 (Mandiri). The data collection methods were conducted using documentation techniques in the form of GPA data’s students and the Selection Pathways students. Data were analyzed using the ANOVA test. The results of data analysis research were obtained an average GPA of students in the SNMPTN (2.93), SBMPTN (2.89), and Mandiri (2.59). Result of ANOVA test showed that F count (4.363) > F table (3.0133). The conclusion of this study showed that there are significant differences in the academic achievement of students Based on the Selection Pathways for State Universities.

Abstract

The wetland area in Tulang Bawang Regency is a stretch of swamps that has an important value ecologically and hydrologically and has economic value. However, currently, the area's condition has begun to change its function to agricultural land, resulting in damage to the habitat and function of swamps, causing a decrease in biological resources such as fish and bird populations. The use of wetlands must be carefully planned and designed with land use principles with a sustainable perspective. The aim of this research is; 1.) Identifying the potential for hydrology, potential land use, and the condition of biodiversity in the Wetland area; 2) Formulating alternative land suitability in the wetland area planning in Tulang Bawang Regency by taking into account biophysical factors and area functions. This research's approach method is spatial pattern analysis, which is to study the patterns, shapes, and distribution of phenomena on the earth's surface. In addition, understand the meaning of these patterns and use them in sustainable land use planning. Based on the results of land suitability analysis for wetland planning in Tulang Bawang Regency, it can be concluded that this area is classified as very suitable (S1) with a score of 93.33. For the development of wetlands through nature conservation and cultural heritage of the Tulang Bawang community as objects and the main attraction of this area.

Abstract

Kota Bandar Lampung sebagai ibukota Provinsi Lampung menyebabkan jumlah pergerakannya tinggi sehingga kemacetan lalu lintas tidak dapat dihindari pada beberapa ruas jalan di Kota Bandar Lampung. Penyelesaiaan atas permasalahan tersebut oleh pemerintah Kota Bandar Lampung dilakukannya pembangunan flyover di beberapa ruas jalan yang mengalami kemacetan, salah satunya di ruas Jalan Pramuka. Flyover Pramuka dibangun pada tahun 2017 dan memiliki daya tahan menjaga arus stabil berjangka waktu hingga 10 tahun dari saat keberadaan flyover memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap penurunan volume capacity rasio (VCR). Waktu jenuh jalan eksisting dan flyover diketahui dengan menggunakan metode analisis sensitivitas melalui pembebanan bertahap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan flyover menyebabkan kondisi jalan eksisting dan sisi flyover mengalami waktu jenuh pada tahun 2028-2038 sehingga penting untuk Pemerintah Kota Bandar Lampung mengantisipasinya dengan menetapkan aturan intensitas bangunan. Jenis kegiatan yang terdapat di wilayah internal dan wilayah eksternal di dominasi oleh perdagangan dan jasa. Pengaturan intensitas bangunan sebagai bentuk pengoptimalan pembangunan flyover penting untuk memperhatikan pula arahan rencana struktur ruang yang ikut mempengaruhi beban lalu-lintas pada jalan eksisting dan flyover. Abstract

Perkembangan Kota yang tidak diantisipasi adalah awal dari munculnya permasalahan perumahan dan permukiman. Di Indonesia permasalahan permukiman dikelompokkan menjadi empat macam, yaitu permasalahan backlog perumahan, rumah tidak layak huni, permukiman kumuh dan rumah liar. Bila diobservasi, penampakan fisik permukiman kumuh dan rumah tidak layak huni tidak jauh berbeda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi kesesuaian indikator untuk permukiman kumuh dan rumah layak huni. Unit amatan dan analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah pemenuhan indikator rumah layak huni di permukiman kumuh Kota Bandar Lampung dan perbandingan indikator permukiman kumuh dan rumah layak huni Indonesia dengan beberapa negara lain (Malaysia, Korea, Australia, Kanada, dan Inggris). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deduktif kuantitatif dan teknik analisis uji fisher exact dan komparasi indikator. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) tidak signifikannya hubungan pemenuhan indikator rumah layak huni dan kekumuhan dan (2) Indikator Rumah Layak Huni beberapa negara lain (Malaysia, Korea, Australia, Kanada, dan Inggris). Indikator tersebut merupakan gabungan dari Indikator permukiman kumuh dan rumah layak huni milik Indonesia. Dengan adanya penelitian ini, diharapkan Indikator penentuan permukiman kumuh dan rumah layak huni dapat diintegrasikan sehingga dapat mengefektifkan dan mengefisienkan penanganan permasalahan permukiman di Indonesia.

Abstract

Land development that occurs in Pringsewu Regency is for the public interest, as a government step to more easily acquire lands which function as cultivation areas for physical development as a form of service to community needs. The limited provision of land will make it difficult for the government to develop an area as a form of land use for public purposes. This research will discuss about the analysis of land use for the public interest. There are several criteria and indicators that determine the location of land to be used for public use, consisting of land area, existing land use, spatial plan, area function, slope, land shape, soil movement, flood hazard, population density and market land prices. Based on the results of the scoring analysis of 11 indicators through the application of spatial multicriteria analysis which involves eleven criteria for determining the location as the most appropriate variable to be used as state land as a balancing material, the Pringsewu Regency government explains that zone 3 (Kecamatan Pagelaran, Pringsewu dan Ambarawa) has the most land dominance which can be prioritized first.

Abstract

Penanganan pasca panen cabai merah yang masih sangat minim dan kurangnya pengetahuan petani terhadap teknologi pasca panen akan memicu resiko kemunduran kualitas cabai merah yang lebih tinggi dan tingkat penerimaan oleh konsumen. Salah satu metode pasca panen yang dapat diterapkan yaitu dengan perlakuan kalsium klorida dan pengkondisian RH penyimpanan. Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan kalsium klorida dan kelembaban relatif terhadap perubahan kualitas dan umur simpan cabai merah. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan percobaan Completed Randomized Design (CRD) dengan variasi konsentrasi kalsium klorida (CaCl2) yaitu 0% , 1%, dan 4%, dan variasi kelembaban relatif (RH) yaitu 85% dan 65%. Analisis perubahan kualitas yang diukur adalah susut bobot, tekstur, dan total padatan terlarut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi CaCl2 berpengaruh signifikan (<0.05) terhadap susut bobot, dan tekstur, sedangkan kondisi ruang penyimpanan (RH) berpengaruh signifikan (<0.05) terhadap susut bobot, tekstur, dan Total padatan terlarut. Interaksi antara konsentrasi CaCl2, RH, dan hari penyimpanan berpengaruh terhadap susut bobot. Konsentrasi 4% CaCl2 dan 85% RH merupakan perlakuan terbaik yang dapat diaplikasikan untuk cabai merah.

Abstract

The green synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles was carried out using a natural capping agent, Sapindus rarak DC rinds extract at low-temperature calcination and environmentally friendly solvent. The mixture of Zn(CH3COO)2, NaOH, and rinds extract was sonicated for 4 h at room temperature. The calcination was carried out at low temperature, 95oC for 8 h, and resulted in pale brown powder. XRD and SEM were used to confirm the structure and to analyze the morphology of ZnO nanoparticles respectively. XRD pattern of ZnO nanoparticles was corresponding to JDCPS card no 36-1451 with hexagonal structure. The average crystal size of ZnO nanoparticles was calculated using the scherrer equation and the average size was about 35.8 nm. From this study, the extract of the rind of Sapindus rarak DC was found to be a natural capping agent to synthesis ZnO nanoparticles because Sapindus rarak DC contain a pythochemical compound to limit the interaction between crystal seeds.

Abstract

Trend of public transport service in rural area is decreasing in terms of the number of operational route and the performance. However, there are people who cannot access private vehicles and depend on rural transport services including the elderly, people with disabilities, women, and students. The existence of this rural transportation indirectly improves the quality of life of the community by providing easier access to better economic, health and educational facilities than in the areas where they live. Responding to these conditions, the aim of this study is to analyze rural transit service needs to accommodate passengers trip. Case study of this research is rural public transport on route 061 Cilimus-Mandirancan in Kuningan Regency. This study used quantitative method with descrptive and comparative analysis. The result show that public transport needs improvement in such performance parameter like route, schedule, load factor, waiting time, baggage space, vehicle operating cost, and institutional. Improving the quality and innovation of rural public transport services can be realized if there is intervention from the government and other related parties in the management and operational costs of rural public transport vehicles.

Abstract

PT PLB (pseudonym) is a company that produces household appliances and kitchen utensils. The country kettle is one type of product made by PT PLB. The productivity of the country kettle production line decreased by 56%. This was due to defective products. The largest percentage of defects in-country kettle products occurred in the spinning process of 40.18%. This study aimed to identify the causes of defects in-country kettle products and how to overcome them by designing improvement proposals. Lean manufacturing principles were used to evaluate the problems that occur. There were three types of lean manufacturing tools used in this study: Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and 5Ways. VSM was used to describe and identify value-added activities, non-value-added activities but necessary, and non-value-added activities so that the production process becomes lean. The root cause analysis was performed using the 5 Whys method. Unskilled workers and non-standard material types between suppliers are the highest contributors to defects in the spinning process. Based on this, this research was focused on improvements made in the spinning process. Proposals for improvements to the causes of the problems found are standardization of work procedures, standardization of supplier specifications, and arrangement of semi-finished goods and/or supplies. Based on the company's results, the proposed standardization of work procedures and arrangement of semi-finished goods and/or supplies may be implemented in the company. Meanwhile, the proposal for selecting suppliers is not feasible due to company limitations

Abstract

Fish gelatin hydrolysate is a well- known fish by-product that is high in protein content. It is produced from by-product waste from the fish processing industry, which includes fish skin, head, and bones. Gelatin hydrolysates have recently received much attention due to its high protein content and bioactivity, which includes antioxidant, antimicrobial and antihypertensive activities. The transformation of gelatin hydrolysate into nanoparticles is believed to increase its economic value. Furthermore, reduction into nano-size increases the absorption characteristic of this material. Here, fish gelatin hydrolysate nanoparticles are prepared for the first time using desolvation method. The effects of concentration of gelatin hydrolysate, pH of solution, and acetone concentration on nanoparticle size are determined. The prepared gelatin hydrolysate nanoparticles were found to have spherical shape with sizes varying from 300-400 nm with a mean size of 408 ± 11.4 nm, zeta potential of -16.4 ± 1.2 mV and PDI 0.203 ± 0.07. This study showed that concentration of gelatin hydrolysate, pH and concentration of solvent have significant effects on nanoparticle size. The gelatin hydrolysate nanoparticles can be applied in the pharmaceutical industry for the encapsulation of drugs to facilitate delivery to target sites.
