Abstract

Abstract The demand for rural public transportation is dominated by people who cannot access private vehicles. In terms of the number of operating routes and the performance of their services, currently rural public transport services tend to decline. The mobility of rural communities to reach social facilities can be hampered if there is no public transportation service, which in turn will reduce the quality of human resources in rural areas. This study focuses on the movement characteristics of rural public transport passengers in Kuningan Regency. Several rural transportation routes were taken as samples, namely route 030 Cilimus-Linggarjati, route 061 Cilimus-Mandirancan, and route 037 Lengkong-Rancakeusik. This study shows that the characteristics of the movement of rural public transport passengers are an integral part in an effort to maintain rural public transport services. These characteristics of passenger movement can be used to improve the performance of public transportation, become input for public transport operators, and become material for local governments to make policies Keywords: rural public transportation; public transport routes; public transport services; public transport performance. Abstrak Permintaan angkutan umum perdesaan didominasi oleh masyarakat yang tidak dapat mengakses kendaraan pribadi. Dari sisi jumlah trayek yang beroperasi dan kinerja layanannya, saat ini layanan angkutan umum perdesaan cenderung semakin menurun. Mobilitas masyarakat perdesaan untuk menjangkau fasilitas sosial dapat terhambat jika tidak ada layanan angkutan umum, yang pada akhirnya akan menurunkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di kawasan perdesaan. Studi ini berfokus pada karakteristik pergerakan penumpang angkutan umum perdesaan di Kabupaten Kuningan. Beberapa trayek angkutan perdesaan diambil sebagai sampel, yaitu trayek 030 Cilimus-Linggarjati, trayek 061 Cilimus-Mandirancan, dan trayek 037 Lengkong-Rancakeusik. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pergerakan penumpang angkutan umum perdesaan merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dalam upaya mempertahankan layanan angkutan umum perdesaan. Karakteristik pergerakan penumpang ini dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kinerja angkutan umum, menjadi masukan bagi operator angkutan umum, serta menjadi bahan pemerintah daerah untuk membuat kebijakan. Kata-kata kunci: angkutan umum perdesaan; trayek angkutan umum; layanan angkutan umum; kinerja angkutan umum.

Abstract

Streets are one of important network that will connect between area. Streets are the stage for commerce and exchange of goods, even for doing work, especially in eastern countries (Jacobs in Kiang et al, 2010:160). Street of Asia have been and continue to evolve as distinct from those of the west, reflecting the unique Asian cultures (Dayaratne in Kiang et al, 2010:63). The unique can be looked from street that used for held community festival, held funeral, street market, and social activity space, etc.Residential street became public space that very useful for social interaction space (visible in daily activity and community festival). Activities that happen on the street eventually will add other functions on the street as a space of social interaction. Residential streets in the Bungur Sub District, Central Jakarta used by the public as a space for exchanging ideas, buying and selling, children's playground, and an annual festival.The aim of this research is to analyze influence residential street and alley function as social interaction space on neighborhood environment. However, research method that used in this final project is quantitative with survey research strategy and statistic descriptive as analysis method. The results showed that the residential streets in Bungur Sub District has become a public space that allows people to interact with each other (shown by a variety of activities). Social interaction has strengthened the social ties and realized a strong kinship in these neighborhood.

Abstract

The increasing number of residents and various community activities will be directly proportional to the volume of generation and composition of the waste produced. Waste management is a major problem faced by almost all regions in Indonesia, including Bandar Lampung City. Bumi Waras Village is one of the areas where waste management is still low. In dealing with waste problems, it can be done through community involvement, therefore this study aims to identify the form of community willingness to participate in waste management. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that the community is willing to carry out waste management up to the collection stage with the assistance of adequate infrastructure. However, the community's willingness has not yet reached the level of waste processing at the source level.

Abstract

Trend of public transport service in rural area is decreasing in terms of the number of operational route and the performance. However, there are people who cannot access private vehicles and depend on rural transport services including the elderly, people with disabilities, women, and students. The existence of this rural transportation indirectly improves the quality of life of the community by providing easier access to better economic, health and educational facilities than in the areas where they live. Responding to these conditions, the aim of this study is to analyze rural transit service needs to accommodate passengers trip. Case study of this research is rural public transport on route 061 Cilimus-Mandirancan in Kuningan Regency. This study used quantitative method with descrptive and comparative analysis. The result show that public transport needs improvement in such performance parameter like route, schedule, load factor, waiting time, baggage space, vehicle operating cost, and institutional. Improving the quality and innovation of rural public transport services can be realized if there is intervention from the government and other related parties in the management and operational costs of rural public transport vehicles.

Abstract

The city of Bandar Lampung, which is the capital of Lampung Province, which is currently not included in the 100 smart city movement in Indonesia, has tried to keep up with and make Bandar Lampung a smart city. Marked by the vision of the City of Bandar Lampung, namely "Bandar Lampung is healthy, intelligent, faithful, cultured, superior and competitive based on the people's economy" (RPJMD Bandar Lampung City, 2016-2021). The increasing number of residents in Bandar Lampung City causes basic infrastructure services to be improved in order to meet the needs of the community. The concept of smart infrastructure that has been implemented in various countries has been able to help fulfill and maximize city infrastructure services to be effective and efficient. Research on smart infrastructure in Bandar Lampung City is still new and relatively early, so it is very important to know the position of smart infrastructure development in Bandar Lampung City. This development can be identified by examining the stages of the city's smart infrastructure (Royal Academy of Engineering, 2017 in Ogie et al, 2019). The purpose of this study is to examine the development of smart infrastructure in urban infrastructure aspects in Bandar Lampung City. This research was conducted using a qualitative deductive approach, while the research data were analyzed using content analysis techniques and qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of this research is that the urban infrastructure of Bandar Lampung City is at an early stage towards the concept of smart infrastructure, which is still between the traditional stage and the semi-intelligent stage.

Abstract

The majority of Indonesia's population lives in rural areas so that agriculture is the main sector in the economy and the survival of rural communities where it is known that the national income generated from the agricultural sector is more than 50%. To increase the effectiveness and efficiency of agricultural activities, the application of technology, especially digital-based ones, is very necessary because it has a significant impact on improving the economy of farming communities in particular, one of which is the digitalization of agriculture.Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, it is known that the application of agricultural digitization in terms of the use of applications used as online marketing media in Adiluwih and Gadingrejo sub-districts is still relatively low. The low use of this application is due to several factors that influence the use of agricultural applications, including farmer readiness factors, age factors, gender factors, education factors, extension factors, and income factors. Furthermore, this agricultural digitization has an impact on the economic level of the farming community, although it is still relatively low, this digitalization can increase farmers' income by 8.5%. This increase in income is obtained from the marketing of agricultural products through online media which is part of the digitalization tools in agriculture. This is an opportunity so that the application of digitalization and information technology in agriculture can be developed optimally in order to increase the economic growth of rural communities.

Abstract

A mixed area is one area that requires pedestrian path due to the commercial and non-commercial functions that are close to each other. Traveling short distances on foot will be more effective than using a vehicle because it is impossible to always stop at the desired location. One of the mixed-use areas with high mobility in Bandar Lampung is the Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam Mixed Area, Bandar Lampung City. The Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam Mixed Area does not meet the standards in fulfilling pedestrian path facilities. This is indicated by the fact that there are still many roads in this area with no pedestrian path. The condition compels pedestrian to pass through the road, thus increasing the risk of accidents. This study aims to identify the need and availability of pedestrian path in the Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam Mixed Area, based on pedestrian path' quantity, and distribution. This research employs a quantitative deductive method by placing theoretical analysis as the determination of the variable, and the population of this region using a census, namely all road corridors in the Region A mixture of Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam The results show that the quantity, and distribution, have not met the availability of pedestrian path based on PUPR Guidelines Standard No. 02 of 2018 on pedestrian Facility Planning.

Abstract

Penyediaan sarana dalam suatu wilayah bertujuan memenuhi kebutuhan dan mendukung aktivitas warga, berpengaruh signifikan pada aspek sosial dan kualitas hidup mereka. Sarana kesehatan menjadi kunci penting dalam upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, dengan luas wilayah yang sangat besar, perlu fokus pada penyediaan sarana kesehatan. Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Kabupaten Lampung Tengah tahun 2011-2031 telah menetapkan upaya untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan secara merata. Namun, tantangan besar muncul akibat luasnya wilayah ini. Masalah seperti tingginya angka kematian ibu, gizi rendah, dan penanganan COVID-19 yang kurang optimal menjadi sorotan utama. Oleh karena itu, penelitian menjadi krusial dalam merumuskan strategi peningkatan sarana kesehatan. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan deduktif kuantitatif untuk menganalisis strategi penyediaan sarana kesehatan di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan, memperluas jangkauan pelayanan, dan memperkuat koordinasi antara pemerintah dan sektor swasta. Beberapa strategi identifikasi melibatkan peningkatan kualitas dan jenis pelayanan kesehatan, penambahan rumah sakit di wilayah yang belum terjangkau, serta peningkatan kerjasama dengan sektor swasta. Upaya ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dan kemampuan mereka dalam mencapai kesehatan optimal. Dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan warga Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, penyediaan sarana kesehatan menjadi prioritas utama yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian serius.

Abstract

Lampu penerangan jalan adalah salah satu komponen sistem transportasi wilayah yang memiliki peranan penting bagi masyarakat. Penyediaan lampu penerangan jalan dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan fungsi keamanan dan keselamatan perjalanan, khususnya bagi kegiatan transportasi di malam hari. Desa Neglasari memiliki jumlah lampu penerangan jalan yang terbatas sehingga sebagian besar wilayah desa gelap dan diperlukan penambahan lampu penerangan di sejumlah titik ruas jalan. Selain itu, sejumlah lampu juga rusak karena tidak adanya mekanisme kontrol untuk mematikan lampu pada siang hari. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, penyediaan lampu penerangan jalan dengan konsep Smart Lighting diperlukan. Kegiatan dilakukan secara kolaboratif dan partisipatif untuk menjamin tersedianya lampu penerangan jalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan riil. Kegiatan mendapat respon yang sangat baik. Hasil dari kegiatan adalah terciptanya lampu penerangan jalan yang hemat energi dan mudah digunakan oleh masyarakat karena telah mendukung otomatisasi penyalaan lampu jalan pada waktu siang dan malam hari melalui sensor photocell dan sensor remote yang dirakit pada lampu.
