Abstract

Indonesian Journalism has shown increased after the collapse of new order. Freedom of the press who fought for so long, successfully obtained with full of struggle. However, the use of freedom of the press is apparently still erroneous and inaccurate. The mass media are supposed to be part of the development of the nations character and religious tolerance, but in Fact, Mass media gave the impression that they did not care about the impact of journalism message. This article aims to explain and describe how tolerance in Indonesia could be built and escorted by journalism in Indonesia. Finally, the results of this paper is that the use of the phrase journalism shows that is not aware of the cultural diversity, and this things would be a time bomb in Indonesian society of tolerance and diversity.Keywords:Jurnalism, Culture, Tolerance

Abstract

Pancasila is the idea and the ideology that absolutely must be owned and embedded in each of the in and out of activity The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Addresing the very complex issue of the nation, it is required the cooperation of various parties and also a product of legislation to guard the life of the nation. This article intends to explain the various approaches that must be considered in solving the nations problems mainly related to ideologies that could destroy the nation such as terrorism. Abstract

Leader is one of the most important key in moving the organizations life and promote life together. However the role of leaders is only 20% compared to the followers in the dynamics of the organization, but leaders become role models and inspiration ?igures. This article discusses about the role of leader in the context of the ecumenical movement. The author tries to extend the understanding of the ecumenical movement is not just an efforts towards the uni?ication of Christians, but to the understanding of the early ecumenical, the inhabited world, which refers to how the leader of the Christian being a role model and inspiration in an effort to bring together the various components of the community who inhabit the earth for unite to build the world. Some Christian leaders in Indonesia who are leaders in many ?ields, the author adopted as a spotlight in this discussion. They include: Oerip Notohamidjojo for education, WS Renda in the ?ield of art, and Basuki Tjahaja Purnama in the arena of politics and government. Abstract

The social movement conducted by Samin people was a sole and unique movement. The movement that was done in order to reject cement plant construction constitutes nonviolent and anti-anarchy movement. The peaceful or nonviolent way based on Samins local wisdom became the strategy used in this protest movement. Non-verbal comm unication in the form of silence and using tembang was used in this movement. In Samins perspective, the non-violent and anti-anarchy movement will have great effects. The principal of this movement was really in?luenced by Javanese culture. This paper was based on the research result done in the life of Samin people in Sukolilo. Data collection methods used in the ethnography of communication were in-depth interviews, participative observation and document analysis. Abstract

New media provide opportunities of new interaction patterns in raising collective action. This study seeks to explain how actors play a role in the movement of the virtual movement to create the success of the movement. Actor Network Theory Perspective be used as a paradigm of thinking. The method used is qualitative case study #sayaKPK uploaded petition through change.org. Results of the study revealed that ANT applied in such cases. This perspective suggests that the actor who plays the movement is not only meant as a human being, but also material and texts are interconnected in a network that hyperconnected. Abstract

Democracy need law supremacy that guarantee of equality, respect for human right, justice, protection, and respect for civil and political right in the frame of unity in diversity perspective. Nation perspective intent to be a culture in democracy and law as the institution of multicultural society. Democracy refuses destructive harmonization in the perspective of nation. Monoculturalism politic, domination, hegemony, radicalism, stereotype, discrimination, majority and minority dichotomy with support by law of sectarian are an anomaly of democracy in multiculturalization condition. The respect of dignity human being in law only can be built as long as no relation sectarianism in group ideology with politic af?iliation, and politics of recognition of multiculturalism according Pancasila as the source of source of law. In the frame of nation perspective, democracy will be characterized of law which agree with peace building. Revitalization of nation perspective can be done through dissemination of peace education in order to reach solidarity and tolerancy as the public awareness.
