Abstract

Transmission of COVID-19 occurs between humans through droplets or splashes of body fluids containing SARS-CoV-2 particles. If a COVID-19 patient does not cover his mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, the patient will emit droplets containing the virus. Droplets can stick to the patient's hands and surrounding items. Anyone can get the virus when shaking hands or touching items that have the virus and contracting the virus if they touch their eyes, nose, or mouth without washing their hands first. In public places such as schools, offices, and hospitals, many pieces of equipment are controlled using the help/touch of a hand. The use of equipment in public places by many vulnerable people is the cause of the rapid spread of infectious diseases. The research that will be carried out is to design and manufacture tools to control equipment without touching hands to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. The controlled equipment consists of water faucets, lights, fans, and curtains. The lights, fans, and water faucets are controlled using palm movements with the max distance from the Smart IR Switch being 11 cm. If there is palm movement within the working range of the Smart Switch IR, the solenoid valve, lights and fans will change from their previous conditions. If the initial condition is 'off' it will change to 'on' or vice versa. The curtain is controlled using palm movements with the max distance to the GP2Y0A21YK0F IR sensor being 10 cm. If there is palm movement within the working range of the GP2Y0A21YK0F IR sensor then the curtain will change from its previous condition. If the initial condition of the closed curtain changes to open or vice versa.

Abstract

Grain drying is currently still using the traditional method of drying with solar thermal. One of the obstacles to rice production in Indonesia is the problem of the grain drying process. So far, Indonesian farmers still carry out traditional drying, only relying on the solar thermal to dry their grain, so that during the rainy season they will troubled in the drying process. Therefore, a trainer for a grain dryer machine with a small capacity is made so that it can be controlled by PLC and monitored using SCADA. The test results obtained that the weight of the grain before the 1000 gram test was tested with a drying time of 90 minutes, for the water content before drying was 18% after entering the drying process for 90 minutes, the weight of the grain became 927 grams and the water content after drying was 12.5%. At every 10 minutes the average weight loss of grain after the drying process is 5.9 grams and water content is 0.5%.

Abstract

Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill) is a type of horticultural plant that has a relatively fast maturity time compared to other fruits. In order to accelerate the implementation of smart farming in Indonesia, various methods that support agriculture have been developed. One of the technologies that can be applied to develop agriculture in Indonesia is image processing. This study aims to utilize image processing technology to detect and classify ripe and unripe tomatoes. The system is made using static images taken using a digital camera. The marker used in making the system to detect tomato ripeness is the color histogram. While the method for grouping tomatoes uses the nearest neighbor method. This study proves that the performance of the color histogram and nearest negihbor can be used to detect and classify tomatoes that are not ripe or ripe. The accuracy value obtained using this method is 80% while the precision value obtained is 80.53% and the recall value is 81.5%. The results of this study are expected to support the implementation of smart farming 4.0 in Indonesia. Index Terms—Approximately four key words or phrases in alphabetical order, separated by commas. Abstract

One of the most feared infectious diseases today is COVID-19. The transmission of this disease is quite fast. Patients also sometimes do not have the same symptoms. Overcoming the spread of the pandemic has been widely carried out throughout the world. Apart from the medical method, there are also many other methods, including computerization. Data mining is a discipline that can project data into new knowledge. One of the main functions of data mining is classification. Decision tree is one of the best models to solve classification problems. The number of data attributes can affect the performance of an algorithm. This study uses information gain to select the attribute features of the Covid-19 surveillance dataset. This study proves that there is an increase in the accuracy of the decision tree algorithm by adding information gain feature selection. Previously, the decision tree only had an accuracy rate of 65% for the classification of the Covid-19 surveillance dataset. After pre-processing using information gain, the accuracy rate increased to 75%.

Abstract

Industrial evolution in the field of computer technology and multimedia is growing rapidly, especially the sophistication of augmented reality technology which has been used as an introduction medium by various companies. The method in this study uses the waterfall technique. This application is built on a mobile device using Unity 3D software which is implemented in the form of a three-dimensional model for product marketing both in warehouses and places for promotion. This digital marketing strategy supports business people in increasing target market satisfaction. By presenting augmented reality technology through three-dimensional visualization, it is hoped that it can add alternative interactive product introduction media so that consumer needs can be seen clearly through smartphones
