Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected many economic sectors to decline; one of them is investment. However, this sector is still becoming the center of attention especially for investors. Several factors role and influence the emotional attitudes in investment decision-making such as financial management behavior, locus of control, and religiosity. This study aims to determine the impact of financial management behavior, locus of control, and religiosity in investment decision-making during the Covid-19 pandemic. This was quantitative research that included Genta Muallaf community as the subject. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires, then were analyzed using the IBM SPSS 20 test tool. The results showed that financial management behavior did not fully affect the investment decision-making, while locus of control partially influenced the investment decision-making since both internal and external control factors greatly influenced the human situation itself, and religiosity also did not fully affect the investment decision-making during the Covid-19 pandemic since religious aspects have not been fully implemented in this community. Therefore, it is necessary to further make the financial management behavior as a proposed medium for it can influence more in investment decision-making such as: age, education, and culture aspects. Especially, Genta Muallaf community is expected to be able to foster the society through holding on Islamic law, to manage its financial based on needs instead of desires, and most importantly to always remember God in every decision-making.

Abstract

The study begins with a research gap on the effect of organizational learning on employee performance based on the theory of planned behavior. This study analyzes the effect of organizational learning in encouraging innovative work behavior and Islamic work ethic to improve the performance of employees in the production department. The population is 1.155 employees of medium small and micro enterprise (MSME) furniture in Ggrobogan Regency. Using the purposive sampling method, this study used 100 respondents. We used multiple linear regression and path analysis using SPSS version 21 software to analyze the data. The result of the study is organizational learning can improve employee performance through innovative work behavior and Islamic work ethic.

Abstract

This study was conducted to formulate a business strategy for a sharia rural bank whose performance has decreased because the financing sector served is affected by Covid-19. This study is applied research that is qualitative and uses a single case study approach. Primary data was obtained through interviews with several members of the board of commissioners, members of the board of directors, and heads of divisions. Secondary data were obtained from internal company documents, while external sources were mostly from regulatory bodies for the sharia banking industry in Indonesia. A framework from David et al. (2020) is used to obtain a business strategy formulation. For the upcoming three years, the business strategy that should be carried out are market penetration and product development, i.e., conducting selective increase in financing in prospective sectors, conducting coaching in the micro and small sectors so that they can better cope with the impact of Covid-19, and developing products for first-time young customers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze articles with the subject matter of Islamic Banking published during the 2020-2021 period in times of the Covid-19 Pandemic and indexed by Scopus (https://scopus.com) on an analysis of articles, authors, journals, and keywords. The papers analyzed were as many as 681 documents using bibliometric analysis with the help of R Biblioshiny software. The numbers showed the researcher's high desire to research with the theme of Islamic Banking during the pandemic. The author who often studies this theme is Hassan MK. Most journals published on Islamic Banking during covid-19 are "Journal of Islamic Marketing" and "Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research." Several themes related to Islamic Banking research, namely corporate social responsibility, profitability, efficiency, financial crisis, and Islamic finance. However, the trend analysis shows that few researchers have linked Islamic Banking research to these themes. Therefore, a study with these themes needs development considering the limited research that extensively addresses the Islamic Banking theme in Islamic economics and finance research.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the comparison of the financial performance of BUMN Islamic Commercial Banks and Non BUMN Islamic Commercial Banks on the variables of Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital (RGEC) for the 2017-2020 period represented by the ratio of NPF, FDR, BOPO, GCG, ROA, ROE, and CAR. The results of this research show that of the 7 ratios analyzed, there are 5 ratios with significant differences between the financial performance of BUMN Islamic Commercial Banks and Non BUMN Islamic Commercial Banks during the 2017-2020 period, namely FDR, BOPO, GCG, ROA, and ROE. While the NPF ratio, CAR, and RGEC Composite Rating there is no significant difference between the financial performance of BUMN Islamic Commercial Banks and Non BUMN Islamic Commercial Banks during the 2017-2020 period. The last analysis on the consolidated financial performance assessment of all RGEC variables shows that the performance of BUMN Islamic Commercial Banks is not better than the performance of Non BUMN Islamic Commercial Banks where the average composite value for 4 years is the performance of BUMN Islamic Commercial Banks (80%), smaller than the composite value of the performance of Non BUMN Islamic Commercial Banks (86%).

Abstract

This study is aimed to seek the role of micro Enterprises Labu Madu in Banyoksah, Sampang in prospering the farmer of pumpkin with BMC approach method and SWOT analysis. This study employed descriptive qualitative with SWOT analysis and BMC approach. The data was collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The result show that SWOT analysis with BMC approach found that the best strategy of Labu Madu enterprise to improve the welfare of pumpkin farmer is SO strategies which are first; products of Labu Madu need to displayed in the stores and use other social media as marketing such as: IG, and Shopee. Second, it is necessary to add variations to the menu of processed products from honey pumpkins, and customer requests to become resellers are a chance to increase sources of income. Third, it is necessary to take part in marketing training to increase level of producing of processed Labu Madu. Fourth, it is necessary to replace more sophisticated or modern technology so that the Labu Madu production process is easier and more efficient. Fifth, apart from having an outlet, it is necessary to open a branch to increase the source of income. To ensure the welfare of pumpkin farmer, Islamic empowerment principles needs to be applied. Moreover, sharecropping contracts also necessary to be conducted with strengthen the transparency and religiosity aspect which are ease to implement in religious culture of the farmer. Furthermore, building the café an establishing with mesmerizing view also would affect to income of the enterprise which in turn would increase the income of the farmer. In connection with that, hospitality, product diversification, and customer service should be considered for future development of the company.
