Abstract

The goals of this research is to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effects of profitability, leverage, firm size, and net working capital on cash holding in consumer non-cyclical sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019 – 2021 period. Purposive sampling was used in this study to select 62 samples and 186 data points from consumer non-cyclical companies. Data for this study were collected and analysed using Microsoft Excel 2016 and Eviews 12. The result of this research indicates that profitability and firm size have no effects on cash holding. Meanwhile, leverage and net working capital have a significant negative effect on cash holding.

Abstract

The research objective was to find out whether there was an effect of tax incentives on MSME taxpayer compliance during the COVID-19 pandemic with the level of trust in the government as a moderating variable. The sampling technique used is Accidental Sampling. The research sample are 100 respondents. Data collection through distributing questionnaires. Statistical testing to support Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis using SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results of the study document that tax incentives have a positive effect on MSME taxpayer compliance. The level of trust in the government is not able to moderate the effect of tax incentives on MSME taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

This research aims to find the correlation between financial literacy towards financial decision-making with retirement planning, sandwich generation, and stres as the mediating variables. Population used in this research is Indonesian people who are their productive age, are generating income, and are financially responsible for themselves and their families who are both older and younger than them. In this research, researchers gathered 382 samples dominated by people aged between 26 until 31 who live on Java Island. This research uses the quantitative method, cross-sectional, and convenience sampling using questionnaires distributed online. Then, the data is analyzed by using smartPLS 4.0 version. The result is financial literacy positively correlates with retirement planning; retirement planning positively influences sandwich generation; sandwich generation negatively affects stress, and stress negatively correlates with financial decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of institutional ownership, board size, capital expenditure, net working capital, liquidity, leverage, cash flow ratio on cash holding before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, and differences in average cash holding. Based on purposive sampling, there are 85 manufacturing companies during 2019-2020. Hypothesis testing with regression analysis and Wilcoxon signed-rank test using SPSS. Research before the pandemic shows board size, leverage, and cash flow ratio have a significant effect on cash holding, Research during the pandemic shows that capital expenditure, liquidity, leverage, and cash flow ratio have a significant effect on cash holding. Study finds significant differences between average cash holding before and during the pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the provision of people's business credit (KUR) has on the income of micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM). This research uses quantitative methods. The data used is primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires. The population of this research is UMKM BRI Unit Aloei Saboe customers, Gorontalo City. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of this study indicate that the provision of people's business credit (KUR) has a significant effect on the income of micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) on BRI Unit Aloei Saboe UMKM customers, Gorontalo City.

Abstract

The role of identifying and investigating fraud for organizations and technological developments complicate organizational dynamics and require the competence and expertise of internal auditors to detect fraud within organizations. The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of auditors' risk assessment skills, understanding of industry characteristics and knowledge sharing on internal auditors' fraud investigation abilities. The research methodology in this study is quantitative, the population in this study is part of the internal audit of a leading consumer goods company in Indonesia using census techniques with a total of 60 people. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The results of this study, all variables affect the ability of internal audit fraud investigations. This study implies the importance of enhancing the skills of internal auditors by strengthening internal discussions within organizations as “knowledge-sharing centers” to enhance the fraud investigation capabilities of internal auditors.

Abstract

This study aimd to empirically test and analyze the influence of the work environment, workload and communication on job satisfaction with work stress as an intervening variable with samples processed 132 nurses who worked at Permata Medika Hospital Semarang using the convenience sampling method. The analytical tool using PLS. The results of the validity test of all the indicators showed that there were no indicators that had to be dropped. The results of the reliability test showed that it reliable. The adjusted R square for the work stress is 97.300 per cent while the job satisfaction is of 89.200 per cent. The results of the direct effect test: that the work environment and workload have an effect on work stress, but communication has no effect on work stress. Then workload, communication and work stress are proven to have an effect on job satisfaction, but the work environment has no effect on job satisfaction.
