The journal is pursues the academic exploration on Islamic education discourses in Southeast Asian schools, colleges, universities, and other Islamic educational institutions such as pesantrens (Islamic boarding schools). The journal promotes empirical research and theory relevant to Islamic affiliated educational institutions. The topics of the journal cover the micro, meso, and macro levels of Islamic education such as the philosophy of Islamic education, Islamic school leadership, and the politics of Islamic education. The journal is published twice a year in June and December. It was firstly published in 2013 (printed edition). Since Vol. 3, Issue 2 (December 2015), it has migrated gradually to an electronic journal system (Open Access). It is now a fully online journal, and since Vol. 8, No. 2 (December 2019) it only accepts manuscript submissions written in English or Arabic.

Abstract

Madrasah as one educational institution has a role in implementing character-based education. In order for the education to be carried out later to meet the expectations that have been proclaimed, it must be formulated early on how management or management should be done. For that reason, in this paper will be discussed specifically about the management of madrasah in organizing character-based education. Character-based madrasah management is the management of madrasah that always prioritizes the principles of fairness, integrity, honesty, dignity, service, quality, and growth in every component of its management.

Abstract

This research is grounded by the low understanding of the assessment in the Curriculum 2013 is one of the problems in school. This is due to internal and external barriers. To overcome these obstacles it is necessary to have quality coordination from the competent party with the school related to the implementation of the 2013 curriculum assessment. This study aims to determine the implementation of the 2013 curriculum assessment model and the supporting and inhibiting factors of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum assessment model, especially the field of Islamic Religious Education study at Tenggarong high school. The research method used qualitative descriptive type with multi disciplinary approach. While processing techniques and data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The result of this research is the implementation of curriculum 2013 assessment the field of Islamic Religious Education Studies at Tenggarong High School covers four aspects, namely, spiritual aspect, knowledge aspect, social aspect and skill aspect that has been implemented. In detail can be concluded as follows: 1) Assessment based on the type used is Daily Deuteronomy in writing and oral, assignment, Mid Semester and Deuteronomy end of semester, but not yet executing authentic assessment model. 2) Appraisal Assessment based on the aspects used are observations, in attitude assessment, both spiritual and religious attitudes, but have not used self-assessment, assessment among friends, journal notes teachers. While the skills aspect has not used project appraisal and portopolio. 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the curriculum 2013 assessment in the field of study of Islamic Religious Education at State Senior High School 1 and State Senior High School 2 in Tenggarong show similarity. From the spiritual aspect, social aspect, knowledge aspect and skill aspect. While the inhibiting factor is the inadequate allocation of learning time of Islamic Religious Education, the difficulty of making indicators of spiritual attitudes and social attitudes to be assessed, the questions tested have not been tested yet, the limitations of the means of worship, the condition of the less disciplined students, the assessment of the practice exam is not conducive, The lack of involvement of other teachers in the assessment of spiritual attitudes and social attitudes.

Abstract

The Qur'an asserts that the purpose of human creation is to serve (al-Ibadah) to Allah. Serving in this case includes the meaning of submission, helplessness, weakness, servitude, obedience and obedience of man to the law of God in living life on earth, whether ritual worship concerning vertical relationship (habl min Allah) and social worship concerning horizontal (hablun min al -Nas). The purpose of human creation is basically the ultimate goal of Islamic education. In order to achieve the goal of human creation as well as the goals of Islamic education above, the setting of objectives, content and teaching materials, learning strategies and evaluation of Islamic education becomes very important to do. Setting objectives may include the arrangement of the herarchical side of the broadest goal to the most narrow goals and objective categories of spiritual, social, knowledge and skill objectives. While the content setting can cover the breadth and depth of material including the development of teaching materials that support. Strategy settings include various models, approaches, strategies, methods, techniques and learning experiences that facilitate the delivery of content and teaching materials to achieve goals. Furthermore, the assessment arrangement includes various types of penilian either in the form of assessment that besifat qualitative or quantitative or assessment that is test or non test.

Abstract

This study departs from the low religious character of learners is one of the problems that occur in schools. This is due to two factors, namely, internal and external. To overcome these obstacles required a strategy in the formation of a systematic religious character that can be ”ammunition” in shaping the religious character of learners so that it can make learners become our human beings. The purpose of this study wanted to know about the strategy of character formation, the implementation of character formation and inhibiting factors and solutions in the formation of religious character of learners in high school Tenggarong. Research method in this research use field research type (field work research) with qualitative approach. The data collection is observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation. While the technique of data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The result of research strategy of religious character formation of learners in Tenggarong High School is 1) Self-development which is not programmed include routine activity, spontaneous activity and exemplary already compatible with document of Ministry of National Education about character design of character education. 2) Implementation of religious character formation in routine activity shows significant similarity that is, class picket, worship, pray before and after learning in class and social service. As for spontaneous activity, that is, visiting the sick, throwing the garbage in its place, engulfing the argument. While the exemplary activities that is, by speaking polite, obey the order, dressed neatly and clean, and behave courteously. Although the spontaneous and exemplary activities have been implemented but not yet optimal. Due to the unavailability of all indicators on spontaneous and exemplary activities. 3) Factors inhibiting the formation of religious character that is, coming from the educators and education, the people who live around the school environment and the control of the competent. The solution in overcoming obstacles in the implementation of the formation of religious character is, by improving the quality of principals, educators and education, improvement of facilities and infrastructure, study appeal and cooperate with the competent.

Abstract

Perundungan at school is another form of the oppressive action against peer student whom perceived as weak, in some case, may cause a traumatic impact. By the early consciousness of its negative impact has triggered the SDIT Nurul Ilmi, SDN 002 and SDN 028 establishes policy of the Perundungan Anticipative Program. This research is meant to find out body of program and its implementation, as well as, the obstacle and supporting factor of the Perundungan Anticipative Program at SDIT Nurul Ilmi, SDN 002 and SDN 028. Method used in the research is qualitative with a qualitative-descriptive approach. The results of this study illustrate the form of anticipatory perundungan programs in the three schools are CCTV, polgu, polkam, no tech bench, committee, polkam, welcome students, murojah morning, dhuha prayer, tilawati, zippy's friend, ekstakulikuler, business day, visit and mushraka. The research result describes two forms of the perundungan anticipative applications, id est : 1) The Precautionary-measure, this is shown by the provision of the cutting-edged CCTV facilities, the teacher interim, the no-tech bench, committee, and security officer — who guards during break time. 2) The Prevention-measure, by the Character Building effort and the Religious Approach to student, through activities, such as, students’ inaugural, morning murojah, Dhuha Shalah, tilawati, zippy’s friend, extracurricular (boyscout, theater), business day, visitations, and musharaka. By all of the school residents’ support, and some ruled-out minors, the implementation of the perundungan anticipative program is declared as successful. And an absolute low rate of absenteeism has marked the successfulness of this program

Abstract

This research attempts to (1) describe the development of creativity through experiment, (2) and give some stimulation for childrens to try and explore their experiences (3) for developing the creativity of the children's be means of experiments (4) developing music creativities (5) Music for early childhood developments. The early childhood it's being primary ages and has characterized to discover something. Childrens exactly more interest for studying with practice directly than just hearing and seeing around .children are very happy to learn by dealing directly with material presented. A good example for this is when children were taken out of the room and for developing their capabilities with experiment greatly helping children to be more creatives and intelligence. The importance of music for early childhood attempting to increase their creativities and imagination and able to stimulate the memory. Therefore music is very useful o teach children for better development. Music is a place to express the atmosphere of self because with music childrens given opportunity to express their feelings and ideas by dancing and moving by following music sounds
