Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of dividend policy, investment decisions, funding decisions, and financial performance on firm value. Using a quantitative research approach, data were collected using documentation techniques from company financial reports. The research sample was 45 pharmaceutical companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange used the purposive sampling technique, while data analysis and hypothesis testing used Multiple Linear Regression. The results of the analysis show that dividend policy, investment decisions and financial performance have a positive effect on firm value, while funding decisions do not affect firm value.

Abstract

The research objective was to examine the effect of the bid-ask spread, market value, earnings per share, return on equity, inflation and the SBI interest rate on the holding period of shares. This study uses non-participant observation methods, namely by looking at data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and quantitative research types, there are 10 sample companies used in this study and using purposive sampling technique, in data collection is by documentation and variables used. in this study are the bid-ask spread, market value, earnings per share, return on equity, inflation and the SBI interest rate. There are variables that influence and there are two variables that do not influence, namely inflation and the SBI interest rate because the circulation values of the two variables are not good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance and to analyze the mediating role of work commitment. This research is a type of quantitative research, using a questionnaire arranged with a 5 point Likert scale. The research variables consisted of transformational leadership as an exogenous variable, employee performance as an endogenous variable, and work commitment while the mediating variable. The research sample was 80 employees of PT. Kalbe Farma, Tbk. The data analysis technique uses path analysis. The results showed that transformational leadership has a direct effect on employee performance. Other findings indicate that work commitment acts as a partial mediator of the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. Future research can develop research by including the role of organizational culture as a factor influencing commitment and performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of information overload on fatigue and disorientation with cognition as the mediator. The object of the study is Kwib, which is a company that engages in video making and animation. This study was conducted at people who use social media, specifically the ones who use social media with the feature of watching video content. In total 68 respondents have participated in this study. The results of this study show that while cognition is an effective mediator of fatigue, information overload does not have any effect on fatigue. However, another result of this study has also shown that when fatigue does occur for the respondent, it will lead to disorientation

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of transformational leadership and organizational communication on employee performance achievement. Using a quantitative research approach, by collecting data from 120 employees as the research sample. The data analysis technique used Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The results showed that transformational leadership has a positive effect on employee performance, other findings indicate that organizational communication also has a positive effect on employee performance. Companies need to enhance transformational leadership and ensure that organizational communication is well-executed, clear and follows well-recognized channels. Future researchers could consider employee engagement variables as a mediator of the relationship between organizational communication and employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work discipline in improving nurse performance and to examine the mediating role of motivation. The study used a quantitative approach at the Syarifah Ambami Rato Ebu Bangkalan Regional Hospital. Data collection using a questionnaire to 72 nurses as respondents. The research variables consisted of work discipline, nurse performance and motivation as mediating variables. Data analysis using Path Analysis. The results showed that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on nurses' performance; Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on nurses' motivation, then nurses' motivation has a positive and significant effect on nurses' performance. So motivation plays a role in mediating the effect of work discipline on nurse performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the direct and indirect effects of viral marketing on endorsers on purchasing decisions mediated by brand awareness as mediation. This research is a type of quantitative research with an associative approach. The population in this study were users of Oppo smartphone products in Makassar City. The sampling technique used accidental sampling and purposive sampling. The number of samples was 100 respondents using the Hair formula. The data used are primary data derived from questionnaire answers. Data analysis used Path Analysis with the help of SPSS 21. The results showed that viral marketing and endorsers had a positive and significant effect on brand awareness. Furthermore, viral marketing, endorsers and brand awareness directly have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. In addition, the results of this study also show that brand awareness is able to mediate the relationship between viral marketing and endorsers on purchasing decisions. The implication of this research needs to be reinforced in product promotion so that consumers are able to remember products continuously which can have an impact on product purchasing decisions.
