Abstract

This study describes the education that developed in Islamic boarding schools. The focus of the discussion is the existence and traditions that exist in the pesantren. The writing method used to obtain data is the library method. The conclusions obtained in this paper are Islamic boarding schools are a real form of educational manifestations that are able to form a strong personality for each of their students. Islamic boarding schools are an original form of archipelago education created with Islamic tradition values ​​that have their own uniqueness in building civilization. The form of scientific tradition that was built in pesantren in the form of education in the form of munadharah, a pattern of education maintained and maintained with its classical form in pesantren, collecting books and classical manuscripts to establish libraries containing various sciences and integrated in santri as human beings who love science. With the tradition that is owned, Islamic boarding schools are able to build the character of the santri to become human beings who are able to maintain scientific traditions that have long been built by 'ulama' for the sake of science and future sustainability.

Abstract

Education is a major milestone in advancing a nation, with a good nation's education will make a nation that is developed, peaceful and prosperous. Muhammad Abduh planned that there would be a concrete change in education at that time, he had an important role in an al-Azhar tertiary education. Muhammad Abduh slowly entered the education curriculum starting from the basic, secondary, upper and tertiary level curriculum, as well as the philosophy of education in the existing courses at al-Azhar higher education, not only stopped in the curriculum, Muhammad Abduh also made improvements to the methods learning method, because at that time the method applied was only focused on writing and memorizing, so according to Muhammad Abduh it was very difficult for students to progress and develop, so with that all Muhammad Abduh gave a new method, namely Discussion. Because the discussion learning method of a student will increase his scientific insight.

Abstract

The idea put forward by Fazlur Rahman on Modernization of Islamic Education, namely: 1. Educational Objectives, Fazlur Rahman argues that the purpose of Islamic education must be oriented to the life of the world and the hereafter as well as sourced from the Qur'an. The psychological burden of Muslims in facing the West must be immediately eliminated to eliminate the psychological burden. Fazlur Rahman suggested that a comprehensive and historically comprehensive Islamic study be conducted on the development of Islamic disciplines such as theology, law, ethics, Hadith, social sciences, and philosophy, by holding on to the Qur'an as an appraiser. 2. The Education System, according to Fazlur Rahman, is to eliminate the dichotomy by integrating general science and religion 3. Students, Fazlur Rahman suggests that students must be given Qur'anic lessons, and students are given material in the disciplines of Islamic sciences 4. Educator, Fazlur Rahman offers several ideas, namely, recruiting students who have the best talent for Islam, educators must be trained at the center of Islamic studies abroad, and encourage educators to produce Islamic works creatively. 5. Educational facilities, Fazlur Rahman suggested that each library in an educational institution be equipped with Arabic and English-language books. According to Fazlur Rahman, in essence all the problems of "modernizing" Islamic education, namely making it capable of creative Islamic intellectual productivity in all fields.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions or opinions of parents or the community about children's education between girls and boys. In addition, it also reviews the factors that cause gender irregularities in children's education. This study used qualitative research by taking the location or object of research in Kalipang Village, Grati District, Pasuruan Regency, the informants were community members, community leaders, and village heads. The results of the study show that gender deviations occur in education, which means that parents or the community have a tendency to boys rather than girls in the field of education. Boys get more opportunities to get higher education than girls. The factors that cause gender irregularities are 1) relatively low level of community education, 2) relatively low economic level, 3) community stereotypes that regard women as weak creatures, and 4) social and cultural life in society that places women as beings whose activities are very limited.

Abstract

The decentralized system of education in this era give a chance to each school institutions to improve the quality of schools that participate in improving the quality of education responded by seeking to every teacher to be creative to improve classroom management appropriately for learning run efficiently and effectively. Arguing that the media class is meeting all the educational component as well as the cutting edge and also educational base. This class management concept seeks to provide a solution to the problem in the class, whose scope is not limited to delivery of content, but also includes some things thoroughly to organize classes include: first academic activities such as planning, implementation and assessment of learning. Both administrative activities that include activities such as procedural and organizational arrangement of the room, grouping students in the division of tasks, classroom discipline, the procurement of test, organizing classes, reporting. So the concept of classroom management is trying to empower the potential of existing classes as optimally as possible to support the process of educational interaction in achieving learning goals that are particularly effective in the material Islamic Education.

Abstract

Blind is a person who has a disorder in his vision. A person's blindness is caused by endogenous factors such as hereditary, or due to exogenous factors, such as accidents, drugs and others. The main obstacle of a blind child is not working in his sense of vision. So that children with visual impairments, including children with special needs, are children who experience physical disorders that are different from normal children so that children with visual impairments need special education services and guidance so they can develop their potential as optimally as possible. This study aims to describe the foundation of guidance carried out on children with special needs (blind), as well as to describe aspects of coaching for children with special needs (blind). This study included qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Aisyiah Ponorogo Orphanage as a non-formal educational institution that carries out its duties and functions in learning and fostering children, including dealing specifically with children who have visual impairments. In such a long period of time, there are certainly many records and experiences in the development of blind children.
