Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of advertising bill- board and videotron conductedby PT Indonesia Villajaya. The technique of collecting data using interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Methods of  data  analysis  used  in  this  study  views  from  four  dimensions  EPIC  ie Empathy, Persuasion, Impact and Communication.  Results the showed that (1) the design of advertising conducted by PT Indonesia Villajaya overall prefer the products they sell and every word and sentence in the ad uses simple words that is easily understood by the consumer (2) advertising billboard and video- tron used by PT Indonesia Villajaya been effective (3) on aadvertising bill- board the most effective dimension is empathy and the dimensions of the ad videotron is most effective impact (4) billboard advertising is more effective than advertising videotron. The implications of these results for the company to determine the effectiveness of advertising that has been done mainly on advertising billboard and videotron. With this research to know whether the purpose of advertising can be achieved and done well. Keywords : Empathy, Communication, Impact, Persuasion

Abstract

Abstract: This purpose of this study is to examine the effect of organizational culture, locus of control, on the performance of district governments. This study also examine the mediating role of job satisfaction effect on organizational culture, locus of control, on the performance of district governments. The population in this study are all of SKPD Bengkalis District Government and purposive sampling is used as sampling method. This study uses questioner for 183 respondents. The analysis technique used is the technique of path analysis  using SPSS version 17.0. The results showed prove that organizational culture affect on the performance of district governments, locus of control affect on the performance of district governments. Job satisfaction variable as mediating the effect of organizational culture on the performance of district governments, Job satisfaction variable as mediating the effect of locus of control on the performance of district governments. Keywords:   Performance, District, Goverment, Organizational, Culture, Locus of Control (LOC), Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract :This study aimed to determine the external and internal condition of Nongsa Point Marina & Resort Hotel as the basis of defining a strategy to face the competition. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive approach.   Primary and secondary data is processed to gather information about  the  strengths  and  weaknesses  and  the  opportunities  and  threats  of Nongsa  Point  Marina  &  Resort  Hotel.  The  result  of  this  study  is  the competitive strategy which must be applied is market penetration. This result is obtained through a series of processes from SWOT Analysis which is started from analyzing the internal and external factors until defining a strategy with QSPM matrix. Keywords: Hotel, SWOT Analysis, QSPM Matrix

Abstract

Abstract: Based on SKKNI that one of the competency units that must be mastered by students, the students are able to operate computer accounting applications. This study was conducted to determine whether there are differences in learning results in computer accounting subjects between classes A, B and C. The Test used is Mann-Whiteney nonparametric test. The number of population in this research is 81 students of 3rd semester of D3 Program of Business Administration. The results of this study indicate that the learning achievements or the ability of students in the subject of computer accounting using MYOB between class A, class B and class C is no different. Differences of lecturers who teach computer accounting subjects in each class have no effect toward student learning achievements. Key Words: comparison, score, computer, accounting, students.

Abstract

Abstract: Along with the increasing creativity of retail business people impact on the increasing frequency of competition for market share. With a variety of promotional strategies offered, it is expected that consumers who become the main target can be affected and make purchases Impulsive. This study aims to determine the effect of Store Atmosphere and Promotion on Impulse Buying through Shopping Emotion as an intervening variable on Supermarket con- sumers Halimah Lytech Home Batam Center. Data analysis technique used is path analysis, with sample of 100 respondens by using Accidental Sampling technique which is part of non-probability sampling. The results of this study explain that shopping emotion indirectly can affect the relationship between store atmosphere and promotion of impulse buying at Halimah Supermarket. Abstract

Abstract : The purposes of this study were to analyze the influence of consumerattributes, brand awareness attributes, and brand image attributes simultaneously and partially on the brand equity of higher education institution inBengkalis, the effect of brand equity on the decision of choosing a highereducation institution in Bengkalis, and the indirect influence of consumerattributes, brand awareness attributes, dan brand image attributes throughbrand equity toward decision of choosing a higher education institution inBengkalis. The population in this study were all 2,819 active students enrolledat three higher education institutions located in Bengkalis Islands. Thesamples were 100 students with the sampling technique used was Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The research data were analyzed usingpath analysis and processed using SPSS for Windows version 17. The result ofanalysis showed that the consumer attributes, brand awareness attributes, andbrand image attributes jointly affect the brand equity of higher education inBengkalis. Individually, There is also an influence of consumer attributes,brand awareness attributes, dan brand image attributes toward brand equity ofhigher education institution in Bengkalis. In addition, the results obtained alsoshowed that there was an influence of brand equity on the decision of choosinga higher education institution in Bengkalis, in which, the higher and the morethe quality of brand equity have will directly increase the consumer's decisionto choose a higher education institution and vice versa. Beside that, The resultof analysis also showed that the better and  higher the quality of brand equity,the better the influence of consumer attributes, brand awareness attributes, danbrand image attributes toward the decision of choosing a higher educationinstitution in Bengkalis.Keywords : Consumer Attributes, Brand Awareness Attributes, Brand ImageAttributes, Brand Equity, Decision Choice.

Abstract

Abstract: Ijo temple is one of the attractions visited by tourist, not only domestic but also foreign tourists. Thus, in its development, needs and desires of tourists also had to be accommodated in order to maximize the potential benefits from tourism activities in Ijo temple. This paper discusses the perspective of foreign tourists to the Ijo temple. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the foreign tourists who visit Ijo temple think that Ijo temple is a charming attraction. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the extent of internal workload influence on operator employee performance in PT.Giken Precision Indonesia,  to  know  and  analyze  the  extent  of  the  effect  of  external  workload on operator employee performance in PT.Giken Precision Indonesia and to know and Analyze the extent of simultaneous influence between internal and external workload on employee performance of operator in PT. Giken Precision Indonesia. Data were obtained from 71 respondents in Moulding Department by conducting interviews and distributing  questionnaires,  multiple  linear  regression  test  was  used  to  know respondent attitude toward work load variable and employee performance. The result of the research shows that there is influence between work load to employee performance, that is, internal work load has positive effect on employee performance, while the external work load has negative effect on employee performance. Keywords: internal workload, external workload, and employee performance.

Abstract

Abstract:The Effect of Quality of Productive Assets to Return on Assets (a stu- dy in Commercial Banking that Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange Period2006-2010). This research aims to analyze the effect of the variable KAP to- ward ROA. The samples used were 24 commercial banks listed in the Indo- nesia Stock Exchange in the period 2006-2010 were taken by purposive sam- pling. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression with small qua- dratic equations and test hypotheses using t-statistics for testing the partial re- gression coefficients with a significance level of 5%. Analysis of the test results indicate the magnitude of the effect on ROA is KAP 47%, while 53% is influen- ced by other factors not included in our model. From thet-test results can be concluded, that the Quality of Productive Assets (KAP) has a significant nega- tive impact to Return on Assets. Keywords: Quality of Productive Assets (KAP), Return on Assets (ROA), Commercial Banks, Listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange
