Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of advertising bill- board and videotron conductedby PT Indonesia Villajaya. The technique of collecting data using interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Methods of  data  analysis  used  in  this  study  views  from  four  dimensions  EPIC  ie Empathy, Persuasion, Impact and Communication.  Results the showed that (1) the design of advertising conducted by PT Indonesia Villajaya overall prefer the products they sell and every word and sentence in the ad uses simple words that is easily understood by the consumer (2) advertising billboard and video- tron used by PT Indonesia Villajaya been effective (3) on aadvertising bill- board the most effective dimension is empathy and the dimensions of the ad videotron is most effective impact (4) billboard advertising is more effective than advertising videotron. The implications of these results for the company to determine the effectiveness of advertising that has been done mainly on advertising billboard and videotron. Abstract

Abstract:Product and price are several factors which are affected consumer consideration in purchasing decision. A qualify product with affordable price will attract people’s interest. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of product and price toward purchasing decision in Morning Bakery Batam. Total sample in this research were 186 people and used non probability sampling technique, which is purposive sampling by choosing the most visited outlet:Windsor branch.  Multiple Regression analysis used as data technique analysis andwas assisted by SPSS 20 software.The result shows product and price have positive and significant impact toward purchasing decision.Based on data analysis in this research, the variabels are valid and reliable. On the classic asumption testing with normal distribution, there were no heteros- kedastisitas and multikolinearitas which were happened. The reretion value for product is 61,7% besides 37,9%for the price. Key words : Price, Product, Purchasing Decision

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of the research are to know how the public relations officer of Bengkalis regency government managing public opinion, the cons- traints face, and to determine solutions to faced constraints. This type research is descriptive. The results of the research is the public relations officer Bengkalis regency government in managing public opinion that is media monitoring acti- vities, news analysis, discussion results of analysis, and set of information pack- aging strategy. Constraints faced  is society of Bengkalis less familiar media mo- dern, public relations officer does not meet qualifications, and facilities ina- dequate.  The solution is to the public relations activities of conducted intensive- ly, revitalizing public relation officer, and the addition infrastructure required. So that the function and purpose of public relations goes well then the human re- sources that are used by Public Relations of Bengkalis Regency Government fac- tor should prioritize quality over quantity, at least a Public Relations must have the appropriate background to the field. Keywords : Public Relations, Public Opinion

Abstract

The turnover rate lowering of lecturers was caused by such efforts as the organizational commitment like training and development, compensation done by the management of Bengkalis Polytechnic to deal with problems related to turnover intention.The present research sought to find out and investigate the effect of training and development, compensation and work specification both simultaneously and partially on the turnover intention of the lecturers at Bengkalis Polytechnic to know the function of which independent variable was the most dominant to affect the turnover intention. The method was descriptive; whereas, the population included all 58 lecturers at Bengkalis Polytechnic. Using a saturated sampling technique, all population became the sample. The data were collected using a field study and library research such as observation, interview and questionnaire. To determine the degree of correlation and the effect of an independent variable on the dependent variable, a multiple linear regression model was used. The hypotheses were tested using a statistical analysis. The results show that the multiple correlation coefficient (R) was 0.799 with α > 0.05 and the determination coefficient (R2) was 58.6% meaning that 58.6% of the training and development, compensation and work specification had an effect on the turnover intention of the lecturers at Bengkalis Polytechnic. The Significance effect of the training and development, compensation and work specification on the turnover intention could be indicated that the value of F count was smaller than F table at alpha level t = 5%. The results indicates that F count = 27.854 was bigger than F table = 2.5397 at significance level α smaller than 0.05.  From the calculation, null hypothesis was rejected meaning that training and development, compensation, and work specification had a significant effect on the turnover intention of the lecturers at Bengkalis Polytechnic. Partial test indicates that t – value of training and development variable was 3.670, professional variable was 3.39. This indicated that training and development and compensation had an effect on turnover intention of the lecturers.

Abstract

Abstract : Supplier selection is a chain in supply chain management. Supplier selection is one of the most important things in purchasing activity for the company. Companies should be selective in choosing suppliers because the right supplier selection will support the output of the company. This research was   conducted   at   oil   palm  agribusiness   company  which   will   develop cooperative relationship with NPK fertilizer supplier. The purpose of this study is to select the best NPK fertilizer suppliers that meet the company's criteria. The criteria specified in choosing NPK fertilizer suppliers are cost, quality, delivery  and  service.  While  the  suppliers  who  have  worked  with  PT  ABC Batam are suppliers X, supplier Y and supplier Z. This research uses AHP method assisted with expert choice v.11 software. From the assessment of the importance of criteria in the selection of suppliers, cost criteria get the highest weight of 0.452, then followed by the quality criteria with weight 0.234, service criteria with weight 0.163 and delivery criteria with weight 0.151. For supplier score starting from supplier X get highest weight 0.528, supplier Y with weight0.325 and supplier Z with weight 0.148

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the extent of the application of business ethics conducted by mobile marketing reseller of basic fashion as customer purchase decision. The type of research is descriptive, The data were collected from 8 (eight) respondents and they were the mobile marketing principals through  the  interview  processes.  These  results  indicate  that  the  reseller business fashion in general has been implementing business ethics. because the transaction was not occured by face to face but in online then business ethics which should be applied in mobile marketing from the perspective as the seller and the consumer are included contact person, responding to consumer curiosity, honest and responsible of reseller fashion, setting the price that corresponding market price, providing good service, providing a sense of satisfaction for consumers. Abstract

Abstract: This purpose of this study is to examine the effect of organizational culture, locus of control, on the performance of district governments. This study also examine the mediating role of job satisfaction effect on organizational culture, locus of control, on the performance of district governments. The population in this study are all of SKPD Bengkalis District Government and purposive sampling is used as sampling method. This study uses questioner for 183 respondents. The analysis technique used is the technique of path analysis  using SPSS version 17.0. The results showed prove that organizational culture affect on the performance of district governments, locus of control affect on the performance of district governments. Job satisfaction variable as mediating the effect of organizational culture on the performance of district governments, Job satisfaction variable as mediating the effect of locus of control on the performance of district governments. Keywords:   Performance, District, Goverment, Organizational, Culture, Locus of Control (LOC), Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract: The global crisis has resulted non performing loan (NPL) increased. The measurement of the banks non performing loan ratio is applicable to assess the composite rating of a bank, as the impact of the global crisis toward non performing loan of foreign exchange banks. This study aimed to determine whether there was significant difference between foreign exchange banks non- performing loan before and after the global crisis. The Bank’s non performing loans   was measured by comparing the Non-Performing Loan to the total credit. The population of this study was 35 foreign exchange  banks.   The Hypothesis was tested by using Mann Whitney  different test and Independent Sample T Test. The research of this study showed that non performing loan of foreign exchange banks before, during, and after global crisis did not have significant difference. Key words: NPL, Bank, Foreign Exchange, Crisis, global.

Abstract

PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Syariah Pekanbaru Branch is one of the institutions operating in sharia principles. In practice, PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Syariah Pekanbaru Branch distributes various products to the community with various contracts (Aqad)in accordance with what is needed by its customers. One of the funding products offered is mudharabah deposits accaount using aqad mudharabah. This research was conducted at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Syariah Pekanbaru Branch which is located at Jl. Tuanku Tambusai Block A. No. 10-11 Labuh Baru Timur Payung Sekaki. The purpose of this study is to find out about the application of accounting conducted by this bank, the authors want to know whether it has been implemented in accordance with the PSAK No. 105 standard. In this study, the author uses descriptive method in which the authors obtain data from interviews and documentation directly from the bank. The results showed that the application of mudharabah deposit accounting at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Syariah Pekanbaru Branch using Cash Basis method is a method of comparison between income and expenses where income is reported when the money has been received and expenses are reported when the money has been paid. While profit sharing to customers using Revenue Sharing principle where rates (Nisbah) for deposit accaount products is greater for customers than for the banks. With a ratio of 44% for customers as owners of funds and 56% for the bank as a fund manager.

Abstract

Abstract:  The  purposes  of  this  research  are  to  know  the  effect  of  motivation towards purchasing decision, to know the effect of customer’s perception towards purchasing decision, to know the effect of customer’s knowledge towards purchasing decision, to know the effect of customer’s belief and attitude towards customer satisfaction, and to know the effect of purchasing decision towards customer satisfaction.This research was a survey research. It was conducted at Klojen and Blimbim Districts Malang. Population of this research was the society of Malang City who subscribes Malang Pos newspaper. The sample was taken by probability sampling; the total number of sample was 100. The results of this research are (1) all the psychological factors of the customer take significant effect on the purchasing decision of Malang Post newspaper, (2) customer satisfaction in reading Malang Post newspaper was influenced by their purchasing decision. In conclusion, customer satisfaction and their purchasing decision were influenced by psychological factors of customer. Keywords: Customer psychological factors, purchasing decision, customer satisfaction
