Abstract

The objective of this research is to produce the integrated education management information system as database for  education budget policy formulation. The database that is precise, accurate, complete and taransparan is  accessible to the public via the web in the android system, is a key element in any policy formulation and budget proposals in the field of education, that it can  be used to reduce the corruption in the education area in a systematic which began drafting the state budget and regional budget. this research is a development that adapt the model Borg and Gall (1983). aiken's formula v is used to analyze the instrument by the validator. The concept is to package products and services in one unit. To produce a product, a common cycle passed are: system specification, design, production, distribution, setup, use, maintenance, and renewal. The results of research is already made education management information system based on national education standards and geografic information system that has been tested is limited in some schools in the district region in indonesia. The policy recommendations of this research will support the government to modernize management of the education budgeting sector.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) produce a reasonable science student worksheet to improve collaboration and communication skills of junior high school student, (2) • determine the student's collaboration skills training by the Wadi worksheet, (3) • determine the student's communication skils training by the Wadi worksheet, (4) • determine the student's response after using the worksheets. This research is R D with 4 D and models (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate).  The instruments used in this research consisted of validation form of science student worksheet, the student's questionnaire response form, the form of learning process with project based learning models, self-just my assesment of collaboration skills, peer-just my assesment of collaboration skills, observation sheet of collaboration skills, and observation sheet of communication skills. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis for the data of worksheet's validation and students's response. Quantitative analysis for collaboration skills training of self-just my assesment; Peer-just my assesment; and observation sheet data and communication skills training of observation sheet data that for both of them by percentage calculations-gain score calculation U Mann-Whitney, and for percentage of learning process. The result showed that (1) the worksheet that has produced was reasonable to improve collaboration and communication skills of junior high school student; (2) student's collaboration skills training have moderate categories, 31.54% from it is "enough" to be "good" with significantly difference before and after using the worksheet score, by signification value (Sig) was 0.000; (3) the student's communication skills training have moderate categories, it is 47.96% from "less" to be "good" with significantly difference before and after using the worksheet score, by signification value (Sig) was 0.000; (4) the student's response got the worksheet with very well categories (A).

Abstract

The research aims to (1) produce a student worksheet based on problem based learning that has the potency to improve the 7th grade student's creative thinking skill based on assessment of expert lecturers and science teachers on the content business feasibility component, language and image component, component, and presentation graphics component, (2) know the student response toward the student worksheet based on problem based learning to improve the 7th grade student's creative thinking skills, (3) know the improvement the 7th grade student's creative thinking skills after using the student worksheet based on problem based learning. The design of this research was Research and Development model with 4 d development model which includes define, design, develop, and disseminate. The data analysis technique of appropriateness of the student worksheet and students responses to the student worksheet is quantitative score conversion to qualitative value with five categories, the data analysis technique of the implementation of the problem based learning model and student's creative thinking skill based on observation is a percentage calculation, while the data analysis technique of creative thinking skills pre test and post test is normalized gain score (N-gain score). Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that (1) a student worksheet based on Problem Based Learning has the potency to improve the 7th grade student's creative thinking skill based on assessment of expert lecturers and science teachers on the content business feasibility component, language and image component, component, and presentation graphics component get score 105.75 of a maximum score of 120 with a value of "A" is categorized as "Very Good", (2) a student worksheet categorized as "Good" with a value of ' B "based on student response with score 66.09 of maximum score of 88, (3) the student's creative thinking skill improves after using a student worksheet based on Problem Based Learning with N-gain score 0.72 categorized as "High".

Abstract

The aims of this research are 1) to produce science learning device based on Science Series which is feasible according to the validators, 2) to know the students ' response to Science Edutainment learning, 3) to know the improvement of students ' learning motivation after using learning device which developed, 4) to know the improvement of students ' cognitive learning achievement after using learning device which was developed. This research is categorized as RnD research with 4 d model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Instruments which were used in this research are validation forms of learning device, students ' questionnaire response to Science Education learning, students ' questionnaire of learning motivation, pretest and posttest, and learning task observation form. The data analysis techniques used in this research are qualitative and quantitative. The results of this research are: 1) it has been produced science learning device based on Science Series which is feasible with excellent category (A) according to the validators, 2) science learning which used learning devices based on Science Edutainment get students ' response with good category (B), 3) science learning device can improve students ' learning motivation with percentage 10.74%, 4) science learning device can improve students ' cognitive learning achievement with result of gain score is 0.73 and categorized as high category.

Abstract

This objective of the study is to find out the effectiveness of the Internet as a reference source for the classification of living things (1) in terms of students’ learning outcomes, (2) which was reviewed from the students’ mindmapping, (3) students’ learning outcomes dan students’ mindmapping. This was quasi-experimental study with the pretest-posttest control group design. The subject of this study was all of the grade VII students of SMP N 10 Yogyakarta. A sample of fifty-eight students grouped into two classes, namely class VII C and class VII D was established using the purpose sampling technique. The instruments used were a test to find out the students’ learning outcomes, observation sheets to reveal the students' ability in making a mind map, and the students’ response questionnaire to reveal the students’opinion on the internet and mind map. The hypothesis test used was T test and Hotelling`s T2  multivariat test (manova). The results of the study shows that the internet as a reference source on the classification of living things on the grade VII students of  SMP N 10 Yogyakarta is effective which was shown by the attainment of absolute gain score results for the treatment group. The score is 10, 14 higher than the control group, and the achievement of a gain standard score for the treatment group is 0.2 higher than the control group. The Internet has not been effective which was shown by the percentage result of the lower treatment class achievement compared with the control class's achievements in terms of the students’ mindmapping. Abstract

The aims of this research were to (1) produce SETS-based with outdoor learning-method of student worksheet which is valid to advance students ' science process skill and environmental attitude in a VIIth grade high school students based on the validator, (2) know the student respond on SETS-based with outdoor learning-method of student worksheet (3) know the advancement of students ' science process skill after using the color SETS-based with outdoor learning-method of student worksheets and (4) know the advancement of students ' environmental attitude after using the color SETS-based with outdoor learning-method of student worksheets. The sample of this study included 30 students of SMP E class VII 1 Paliyan. Research of the model that is being conducted is 4 d model comprises define, design, develop, and disseminate. According to results:: (1) The student worksheet developed was valid to advance students ' science process skill and environmental attitude in a VIIth grade high school students according to the validator, with very good category. (2) Student responses on the developed worksheets were very good. (3) Developed the worksheet can advance students science process skill which is shown by a good percentage, medium gains, and suppotted by significant result of paired sample t-test. Abstract

Curriculum 2013 requires a paradigm shift in the teachers manage learning, including assessment. Research on the implementation of integrated science instruction assessmentis an attempt to overcome the problems in science learning assessment in Junior High School. Rate the former tend to simply measure cognitive ability, so that teachers rarely pay attention to ratings on science process skills of students and social attitudes. This research aims to; (1) produce integrated science assessment practical instruction through the feasibility test in science learning class (2) to get the measure of science process skills and social attitudes of learners using instruments developed. This research is a development that adapt the model Borg and Gall (1983). Aiken's Formula V is used to analyze the instrument by the validator. This research resulted in: (1) integrated science instruction assessment practical through feasibility testing in the classroom science lessons with the following characteristics: (a) the observation sheet form checklist used by teachers to observe the science process skills of learners is only at the stage of observing, measuring, inferring, classifying, predicting, communicating as well as observing the social attitude on stage mental and neural state, of readiness to respond, organized, through experience, and  exerting a directive  (b) science process skills is not observed from the behavior of learners assessed by working the worksheet (c) the self-assessment of social attitudes among learners friends used only at the stage of evaluate; (2) the instrument has been developed fit for use because it meets the content validity by experts and reliability was good value. (3) Results of measurement using observation sheet science process skills get a very good category and the results of measuring social attitude of learners using observation sheets, self-assessment and peer assessment obtained either category on aspects of mental and neural state, of readiness to respond, organized, through experience, and  exerting a directive .

Abstract

The aims of this research were to (1) develop inquiry science issues-based student worksheet based which is feasible to advance students ' practical skills and environmental attitude, (2) know the students ' responses towards inquiry science issues-based student worksheet, (3) know the advancement of students ' practical skills after using the developed inquiry science issues-based student worksheet and (4) know the advancement of students ' environmental attitude after using the developed inquiry science issues-based student worksheet. Research of the model that is being conducted is 4 d model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Data were collected using validation form, student response student worksheet, towards a questionnaire inquiry science issues observation form, practical skill observation form, pretest-posttest of practical skill, and environmental attitude questionnaire. The data were analyzed four scale analysis, percentage for practical skill and science issues inquiry learning, N-gain score, and paired sample t-test. According to results, (1) the color worksheet was feasible to advance students ' practical skills and environmental attitude; (2) Students ' responses to the worksheets developed were found very good (A); (3) The average score of practical skills after using the color worksheet was 77.87%. Gains were found between practical skill pre and post test scores. The value of the gains were 0.65, categorized as medium gains. Paired sample t-test indicated that there was significant advancement of students ' practical skills after using the developed student worksheet with the Sig. value was reported to be 0.000; (4) The average score of environmental attitude after using the color worksheet was 87.58%. The value of the gains were 0.65, categorized as medium gains. Paired sample t-test indicated that there was significant advancement of students ' environmental attitude after using the developed student worksheet with the Sig. value was reported to be 0.000.
