Abstract

[The prevalence of HIV/AIDS is always increasing. To reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS figures, the Government set the strategy through early detection and counselling voluntarily, one of which is a service of the Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT). The behavior follow VCT is influenced by several factors, such as knowledge and attitudes. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship of knowledge about HIV/AIDS and attitudes toward the Behavior of commercial sex workers in following VCT In Surakarta. This research is research observational analytic approach with cross sectional and implemented in the localization of the region of Surakarta. Do test validity and reliability with a total sample of 30. Samples of research a number of 105 PSK with accidental sampling sampling techniques. The data were analyzed using poisson regression with robust variance with STATA SE version 12.0. The results showed there was a significant relationship between knowledge about HIV/AIDS and the attitude of PSK with behavior follow.]   Keywords: knowledge, attitude and utilization of VCT

Abstract

In rural areas, traditionally female farmers have an important role in production, particularly during the harvest season and growing season. Women farmers, feed their families by getting jobs during the harvest. During the harvest period it has received significant income for women farmers in their households. In the agricultural tradition, the role of women farmers is very important, not only their length of work, but also their intensity. But since the Green Revolution and the mechanization, newly introduced rice and systematic types of technology have ignored and displaced the roles and jobs of women farmers. The inclusion of the technology created is easy to be controlled by male farmers, then the process of eviction of women peasants was inevitable avoid. Abstract

Abstrak Pada dasarnya penilaian kasih sayang kedua orang tua dapat terlihat jelas dari pola asuh yang diberikan kepada anak-anaknya. Seberapa besar rasa peduli orang tua terhadap perkembangan jiwa seorang anak dapat tercermin dari perlakuan yang diberikan orang tua kepada anak, sehingga terbentuklah kepribadian seorang anak tersebut. Pola asuh terhadap anak dapat berhasil secara maksimal, apabila orang tua memiliki  gaya pola asuh yang tepat. Gaya pola asuh yang digunakan orang tua dalam mendidik anak menjadi faktor utama yang menentukan karakter dan kepribadian seorang anak. Anak yang mendapatkan pola asuh yang salah akan cenderung menjadi pribadi yang negatif. Sebaliknya, anak yang mendapatkan pola asuh yang benar sesuai kebutuhan anak akan cenderung menjadi pribadi yang positif. Seorang ibu menjadi TKW tidak menjadi penghalang seorang anak untuk mendapatkan pengasuhan dari ibu mereka masing-masing. Keadaan ini menjadikan subyek sebagai individu yang bertanggungjawab dan menyukai kehidupan sosial. Dukungan dan nasehat dari orang tua sangat berperan penting dalam keberhasilan remaja untuk menentukan peran yang tepat, sehingga masa ini dapat terlewati dan membentuk kepribadian yang positif pada diri remaja. Kata Kunci : Pola Asuh, TKW, Kepribadian, Remaja.

Abstract

Every human being born into this world is always different from each other. Both physical form, behavior, traits, and various other habits. No human being has the same physical form, behavior and nature even though the twins. One thing we need to know together is that every human being has a way of absorbing and processing the information it receives in different ways from each other. It really depends on the learning style. Learning styles are the way each person takes in absorbing new and difficult information, how they concentrate, process and store information that enters the brain. Understanding the child's learning styles will support his success. The best way to stimulate learning is to give full support to their interests and provide a variety of educative games to support learning.

Abstract

Gender is the role diversifications, functions, and responsibilities between men and women that formed by social construction and may change with the times. The violence affecting women is mainly due to gender bias in the society. Literature can be used as an effective medium to fight for gender equality as results of discrimination, oppression, marginalizing the position of women because of patriarchal culture in society. Women writers try to fight for their rights to be equal to men through the female figure imagery creation who are struggling to gain the recognition. This is what the goal of liberal feminism seeks to eliminate discrimination and social inequality on gender mainly lies in education and employment. The female characters in Gelang Giok Naga novel get discriminatory treatment as a result of famialism which only positions women as wives, house wives, and mothers so that there is a role gap.   Kata kunci: gender, novel, sastra, kajian feminisme

Abstract

Perempuan merupakan entitas yang selalu menarik untuk menjadi medan liput media. Dalam tubuh media, perempuan menjadi bahan pergunjingan yang dianggap menarik. Media membingkai beritanya dengan sedemikian rupa sehingga mampu menggiring opini publik terkait topik yang dibicarakan khususnya – perempuan. Media seperti tidak pernah bosan melakukan definisi terhadap diri perempuan. Apalagi dalam suasana Islamic Pop Culture, perempuan habis dicitrakan oleh media. Media mainstream selalu memiliki pandangan serupa terhadap perempuan. Media kadang menggambarkan perempuan sebagai objek yang patut dinilai habis-habisan. Perempuan akan masuk dalam jaring-jaring frame menarik dan menjual untuk dibaca khalayak. Padahal, apabila dikaji ulang, masyarakat sebenarnya tidak membutuhkan informasi semacam ini. Hal demikian baru-baru ini terjadi pada diri selebriti Rina Nose yang memutuskan melepas hijabnya. Jika dilihat dari segi hak pribadi, apa yang dilakukan Rina Nose merupakan hak penuh atas dirinya, namun apa yang dilakukan media adalah sebaliknya. Media merasa perlu untuk ikut campur dalam mencitrakan seseorang yang sholihah dan “baik” menurut versi media. Dalam jurnal ini, akan dikaji lagi bagaimana media membuat frame atas diri Rina Nose sesuai dengan analisis Sara Mills. Kata kunci: Media, Perempuan, Sara Mills.
