Misykat Al Anwar Jurnal Kajian Islam dan Masyarakat is a nationally accredited peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Faculty of Islamic Studies University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe development of communication technology (Internet, social media) makes the global community (global village) unlimited, anyone can be the sender and recipient of messages at the same time, including in terms of preaching. One of the characteristics of digital society is that it is diverse, free, and tends not to be tied down. Therefore, the preaching of tolerance in digital spaces such as YouTube is something that is very important and necessary. Da'wah of tolerance is understood as an effort to invite or call someone to the path of God with approaches that do not offend the interlocutor, do not discriminate against different groups, respect, and prioritize tenderness and compassion. One of the figures who are quite intense in voicing the values of tolerance through YouTube are Gita Savitri and Habib Husen Ja'far through the YouTube channels Gita Savitri and Jeda Nulis. The results of this study indicate that the preaching of tolerance is formed through open-minded, moderate, understanding that da'I is only a messenger, expanding knowledge and opening up space for dialogue with religions outside of Islam. The concept of fastabiqul khairat in the inter-religious public space is to issue the output of the goodness of each religion and synergize in goodness and build humanity. Keywords: internet, preaching tolerance, global village, youtube channel, open minded.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPR IPM SMK Muhammadiyah 01 South Tangerang is a student institution based in SMK Muhammadiyah 01 South Tangerang. Since the Covid-19 pandemic has changed the climate of school life, this student institution has experienced difficulties in running its organizational wheels. The new habit pattern demands a change in the system and framework that has become the standard of work since the previous management periods. However, the adaptation of an organization, especially a student body, to the demands of new habit patterns is not an easy thing. The subgroup of Group 11 KKN UMJ 2021 took the initiative to provide education one method of discussion that is relevant to the characteristics of upper-middle-level students, namely discussion workshops. This program will be run through a technology-based community development approach, with direct practice methods through an online system. Through this community development approach, the program will be run in a participatory manner by proactively involving partners in every work agenda. The subgroup of Group 11 KKN UMJ 2021 will be the facilitator of this online workshop discussion practice, with the hope that through this program, PR IPM SMK Muhammadiyah 01 South Tangerang can get a new instrument that is useful in running the organization. Keyword: Workshop Discussion, Community Development, Direct Practice Method

Abstract

Pembentukan karakter menjadi perhatian yang sangat penting dalam mempersiapkan generasi yang lebih baik. Juga yang tidak kalah pentingnya adalah mempersiapkan, membentuk, mencetak, pemimpin-pemimpin masa depan bangsa yang memiliki karakter-karakter yang baik, bertanggung jawab, dan memiliki jiwa kepemimpinan yang siap melayani dan berjuang untuk rakyat. Melalui pembentukan karakter kepemimpinan yang sejalan dengan nilai-nilai al-Qur’an, harapannya terbentuk generasi-generasi yang memiliki semangat kepemimpinan, generasi-generasi yang bertanggung jawab, disiplin, terpercaya, visioner, tidak mudah menyalahkan orang lain. Pembentukan karakter yang paling efektif adalah melalui proses pembiasaan, internalisasi nilai-nilai kebaikan sehingga itu menjadi watak, kebiasaan, karakter yang melekat dalam diri seseorang karena Karakter terbentuk dari akumulasi kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang dilakukan seseorang yang kemudian itu mandarah daging sehingga sulit untuk dirubah. Karakter yang telah mandarah daging tersebut kemudian akan menjadi acuan ataupun ukuran kesuksesan seseorang sebagai pribadi,anak, istri, suami, teman, tetangga, rekan kerja, atasan, bawahan, dan lain sebagainya. Kesuksesan yang dimaksud disini bukan hanya diukur dalam bentuk duniawi, tetapi juga yang bersifat ukhrawi. Hubungan sosial kepada manusia baik, hubungan vertical kepada Allah juga baik.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTThe performance appraisal of financial institutions is generally measured by using financial ratio indicators. Sharia microfinance institutions are institutions that have been developed by both the Government and the society which have economic and social functions. Social functions that are grown from belief values will have a long-term impacts, both consistency and sustainability. Exploring social values based on Sharia principles is needed to make the operational basis for Islamic microfinance institutions more measurable, both in financial performance and social performance.There are three principles in evaluating the performance of Islamic microfinance institutions, namely (1) the principle of fairness, (2) the principle of honesty, and (3) the principle of partnership. These three principles are the basis for operationalizing LKMS, both in product development, services and corporate governance.Key words:  Dimension, Sharia financial principle, Micro finance, fairness, honesty, partnership.

Abstract

This research focuses on "MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION CONCEPT IN MUHAMMADIYAH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS (Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed.) Thought Studies", literature review. The aim is to find out and examine how Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed.The benefits obtained from the results of this research are that, for the author, it can be used as material for scientific studies in order to increase insight and analytical skills on problems that are directly related to the scientific field that the author is engaged in in college. Then, for educational institutions, it can be used as a vehicle for the development of knowledge according to the mission it carries, as well as an effort to increase its role in the field of community service. Moreover, for the community, it can be used as reference material and useful information for improving the quality of human resources through increasing the development of children according to the demands of Islamic teachings in the context of full human development in the current multicultural era, and the development of a whole society that is physically and mentally prosperous. safe and happy world hereafter. The method used in this research is to use the library research method, or what is called literature study is a method that the author uses to explore various library materials that have to do with the subject of study in writing this thesis.From the results of this study, it was concluded that the main research findings of Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed stated in the Muhammadiyah Christian Book there were several points of thought that Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed. present among others that Muhammadiyah is present as a movement that welcomes religious plurality, in the opinion of Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed Muhammadiyah, despite its pure and modernist Islamic status, is able to answer the challenges of the times even in areas where the majority are non-Muslims. According to Prof.Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed Muhammadiyah accepted social institutions from the West and adopted the Western education system. If this attitude continues to be carried out, it will strengthen optimism about the future of religious pluralism in Indonesia and focus on being a central role in building a strong national character, open to differences, and strong Indonesian integrity as well as educational progress, especially in Muhammadiyah educational institutions. This finding is certainly a reference for Muhammadiyah schools, especially those in Muslim-majority circles, which should be more advanced and developed when referring to the research findings of Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu'ti, M.Ed. so that there are no more cases of closing Muhammadiyah schools due to the absence of students such as the example in SMA Muhammadiyah Ciampea Bogor, Muhammadiyah schools need to be more welcome from any aspect that is positive and adopting the system or following the times as well as strengthening cultural propaganda.Keywords: Concept, Multicultural, Muhammadiyah

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the social engineering of da'wah practised by Wali Songo and the scholars afterwards. The research approach used is qualitative with a descriptive type of literature study. This is important to do considering that until now the process of da'wah by bringing together religion and culture in the social system of Wali Songo remains a beautiful trend in introducing religious values in the community. It is not uncommon for the familiar encounter of religion and culture in the realm of da'wah to give birth to a unique expression that later became known as Islam Nusantara. Islam Nusantara in a very broad sense can be interpreted as a fermentation of religion and culture that institutionalizes in the format of religious social reality and becomes a characteristic made in the original archipelago which is nothing but a product of social engineering of the scholars of the archipelago itself. Abstract

ABSTRACT Education is the right for all of citizens. It had been mandated by constitution, but the fact, in marginal society there are many orphans and poor people drop out from their school and be streets as their home. Muhammadiyah is a social-religious organization. It starts and plays an active role in the empowering of people and the nation, especially Islamic education for the poor people. By the principle of humanist-religious dakwah, Muhammadiyah develops many charitable efforts, one of which was an orphanage for orphans and poor people. This research aims to get data and information about the development of Islamic education for poor people at Muhammadiyah Orphanage, Rawamangun, East Jakarta. This research is field research. The researcher collected data by observation, interviews, and documentation. Then, analyzing data by using the Miles and Huberman model. Then making a summarize of data, presents it by narrative text, and making a conclusion and verifying it. This research concluded that, Muhammadiyah Rawamangun orphanage was very serious to develop Islamic education for orphans and poor people. It developed the programs by three methods: First, to establish an Islamic culture of life for 24 hours. Second, making a program for memorizing the holy Qur’an as a branding of orphanage. Third, giving a scholarship for orphanage children to explore Al-Islam and other sciences until university. Keyword: poor people, Islamic education, Muhammadiyah
