Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how the application of Human Resources Management in Hotel Grasia Semarang, whether it is appropriate with Islamic values by looking the practical management of Hotel Grasia.This research use qualitative method where is the data collection conducted by interview and deeply observation for a certain period to get more information about the application of Human Resources Management based on Islamic values. The object of this research is a Hotel which is proceeded in syariah system, that is Hotel Grasia Semarang. Then the Informant in this research are the employees of this Hotel who have worked for more than 5 years.The result shot the outline of Islamic values which are still maintained and applicated practically in Human Resources Management in Hotel Grasia Semarang. The Islamic values are showed by several criterias, test or material in some management practices. The spiritual side is also looked from the employees participation in several religious events that showed the religious side of the person.

Abstract

The business world is now facing more challenges: limited resources, increasing competition andrapidly changing environment. Demands in the distribution company also added by increasing the amount of principal that shorten the distribution channel. PT. Aga is the official distributor of paint products from PT. A for the Central Java. PT. Aga’s performance who continued to decline during the past two years after the change of management becomes a problem. The aim of this study was to examine the factors that should be improved by PT. Aga to improve its distribution performance. This study uses the relationship view as a background theory. Relationship Quality between PT. Aga with its customers, and PT. Aga’s Adaptation Capabilities are factors that will be examined related to competitive advantage and performance.The sample was 200 customers of PT. Aga. 124 questionnaires were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The analysis shows that the Adaptation Capabilities to the Environment and Relationship Qualityto its customers, have a significant positive influence on performance, either directly or indirectly.

Abstract

Stock return is the result of profit or loss obtained from a stock investment.This study aimed to examine the effects of Debt Policy, Sales Growth (GS), and Return on Assets (ROA) to Stock Return used Return on Equity (ROE) as an intervening variable in the study of manufacture companies listed on the Stock Exchange Year 2010-2014.The population in this research is manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in accordance Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD). The data used in the study is time series data and cross section (pooling data), and purposive sampling method based on the criteria mentioned above, the number of samples used as many as 32 companies. Analyze techniques using multiple regression, the classic assumption test, and Sobel test.The results of this research partially first model shows that the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Sales Growth (GS) had no significant effect on Return on Equity (ROE), while Return on Assets (ROA) have a significant effect on Return on Equity (ROE) , The second model shows that the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Return on Assets (ROA) no significant effect on Stock Return, whereas Sales Growth (GS) and Return on Equity (ROE) significant effect on stocks return. The results showed that simultaneous Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Sales Growth (GS), Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) significantly affects the Stock Return

Abstract

he pupose of this research is to build a business strategy through managerial factors as the owner and external business environment in improving corporate performance (Studies on food SMEs in Semarang).Samples were SMEs food in the city, a total of 106 respondents. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was run by AMOS software was used to analyze the data. The analysis showed that the business strategy through managerial factors as the owner and external business environment positive effect in improving corporate performance.The empirical findings indicate that factors managerial positive influence on business strategy, the external environment has positive influence on business strategy, managerial factors have positive influence on the performance of the company. The external environment is not positive effect on the company's performance and business strategy did not affect the company's performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of Transformational Leadership, Training of Product Quality, and Motivation on Employee Performance. The selected research object in this study are employees of BCA KCU Gang Tengah, Semarang.Data were collected through questionnaires filled out independently by 120 respondents selected by random sampling method Proportionate Startified. Measurement of exogenous and endogenous constructs were tested using confirmatory factor analysis, and the results showed that the full feasibility test models are in the range of expected values.The results of this study prove and the conclusions that: (1) Transformational leadership has significant effect on the motivation, (2) Training of Product Quality has significant impact on the motivation, (3) Transformational Leadership significant effect on the performance of employees, (4 ) Training of Product Quality has significant impact on the performance of employees, (5) Motivation has significant impact on the performance of employees, (6) transformationalleadership has significant impact on the performance of employees through employee motivation, and (7) Training of Product Quality has significant impact on employee performance through motivation.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, and competitive advantage on business performance. The issue discussed in this research was how the entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation can affect the competitive advantage to improve business performance.Model refinement using outlier evaluation and composite indicators was conducted in this study, so that the research results found that interpret the condition of Small and Medium Industries Tenun Ikat Troso Jepara.. The samples obtained were the owner and manager of Tenun Ikat business in Troso, Jepara, amount to 125 respondents. The data can be used from 125 respondent are 115 respondent. This research used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which was run by an AMOS 20,0 to analyze the data.The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. The result of SEM data processing already found the goodness of fit follows, the value of chi square= 78,577; df : 72; p : 5%; probability = 0,278; GFI = 0.914; AGFI = 0,875; TLI = 0,989; CFI= 0,991; CMIN/DF = 1,091; RMSEA = 0.028. Thus, it can be said that this model is appropriate used.The empirical findings in this study showed that entrepreneurial orientation has significant positive affect on competitive advantage, market orientation has negative affect on competitive advantage, competitive advantage has significant positive affect on business performance, entrepreneurial orientation has negative affect on business performance, and market orientation has positive affect but not significant to business performance.
