Abstract

The study of the society of the tribes of Chittagong Hill Tracts, a south-eastern region of present Bangladesh is a significant area. Number of researches have come out on Chittagong Hill Tracts and its people, but the society of the tribes, with the passage of time how changes took place in their customs, traditions and culture etc. due to interaction with the outside world and spread of education have not attracted the attention of the scholars. Issues like origin of the tribes, political background, warfare among the tribes, their chief or king and their court, the royal families etc. have been researched. Many works that dealt with the Chittagong Hill Tracts and its people have not focused on the life of the tribes, their society, its norms and values which have their roots in the past are attributed especially on women that indicates the mind-set of the society. One finds difficulties with the sources as the historical records of this region begin only after the arrival of the British since they are also very scanty and scattered. In spite of it, this research has tried to dig out the nature of the society by using the available historical sources--writings of the British administrators, accounts of foreign travellers and the contemporary history of Arakan and Tripura, and alternative sources, like folk literature, oral traditions etc. and have attempted to focus on the insight of the society, by analysing different social institutions, like family, marriage etc. and other important factors, such as health, education, health. Hopefully, more works will come out on the tribes of Chittagong Hill Tracts, and the findings will give wider view of the tribal society

Abstract

Taxes are a very important source of state revenue. The tax does not only function as a source of state funds but also as a regulator of the smooth running of the country's economy. Tax law is a part of legal science. Tax law in the broad sense is the law relating to tax and in the narrow sense is a set of written legal rules governing the relationship between the tax official and the taxpayer, which contains legal sanctions. Since carrying out tax reforms, state revenue from the tax sector has continued to increase from year to year. Although the awareness of taxpayers is quite good, it has not been satisfactory because the amount of tax revenue generated will be more if the arrears of tax arrears from taxpayers in arrears are settled. The implementation of tax collection by Forced Letter is carried out based on the provisions in Law Number 19 of 1997 concerning Tax Collection by Forced Letter as amended by Law Number 19 of 2000.

Abstract

This article aims to elaborate on Islam and health issues with a focus on the relationship between Islam and health. The data refer to authoritative sources of Islam, especially the hadith books on health that were explored thematically supported by several other sources such as al-Tibb al-Nabawi and some relevant literature. As a result, Islam adheres to the principle of preventive medicine (al-wiqayat) compared to the principle of healing medicine (al-'ilaj). This is in line with the principle of "preventing mafsadat prioritized compared to taking benefit". Detection of the type of disease and its causes must be carried out earlier before taking the treatment step. For this reason, physical illness is dealt with according to the procedure as a type of non-physical illness carried out a spiritual approach.
