Abstract

In epidemiology, the search for new behaviour of infectious agents, processes and mechanisms of diffusion of infection of emerging infectious diseases caused by global warming has already led to tangible results. This paper proposes a dynamic endemic model Susceptible, Exposed, Precontaged, Infected, Retired, Susceptible (SEPIRS). This model is specialized in epidemics that persist for a long time and in cases where the infection spreads directly: first between pre-contagious individuals (asymptomatic) and susceptible individuals, second between infectious individuals (symptomatic) and susceptible individuals. This model characterises the individual recovering from an infection to develop a temporary immunity and then become susceptible again after some time.

Abstract

Siri' Na Pacce is not something new for the Bugis-Makassar community. Even the Siri 'Na Pacce culture existed in the royal era before Islam entered Sulawesi. This paper uses a qualitative method using an anthropological, sociological, and religious approach. The Siri' Na Pacce culture from the beginning was known for the emphasis on personality in relationships with others as a good moral image. In Bugis-Makassar culture, someone who does not have Siri' Na Pacce, then his attitude and nature are the same as animals. The implementation of Siri' Na Pacce values in the marriage of the Bissoloro Village community includes high solidarity, respect for local culture, and sensitivity to others. Uang Panai is not known in Islamic teachings, there is only a dowry. In the tradition adopted by the Bugis-Makassar community, if we are based on the values of Siri' Na Pacce Uang Panai that is given by men to women is a form of appreciation and gratitude to women's parents before transferring the responsibilities of their daughters.

The results show Da'wah bil hal has a very broad scope, such as sharia cooperative activities, organizing public health businesses, organizing education, taklim assemblies, building Islamic schools, Koranic education parks, etc. Dakwah bil hal is a propaganda medium that is always missed by the community because it contains the actions of a preacher who can be used as a role model. People are motivated to do something that is conveyed or exemplified by the preachers. Therefore, a preacher as a power of change must maintain his words and behavior in everyday life, avoiding words and actions that are contrary to his words.
