Abstract

The Corona Virus has become a world health problem in early 2020. Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a disease that has never been previously identified in humans. Health workers who are at the forefront of handling Covid-19 have high psychological disorders, one of which is anxiety. The purpose is to identify the factors that influence anxiety in health workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The databases used include Google Scholar, PubMed Central and ResearchGate. 528 articles were found based on selected keywords, the number of articles after duplication-checking was 164 articles. Then screening was carried out according to the inclusion criteria (n = 20) and a total of 144 articles were eliminated because they did not match the inclusion criteria. The number of articles following the due diligence test (n = 10) and 10 articles were eliminated because they did not meet the due diligence requirements. Then 10 articles were taken for review. The results showed that the factors that influence anxiety in health workers are gender, age, family status, availability of PPE, knowledge, contact with COVID-19 patients, chronic disease, a physical and psychological workload that threatens the health, cooperation between colleagues, working in an infectious isolation ward. Psychological disorders such as anxiety have long-term impacts and can affect the work efficiency of health workers. If this anxiety is not managed properly, it can affect the performance of health workers in dealing with Covid-19. The most dominant factors affecting anxiety are age, the availability of PPE and concerns about transmission

Abstract

Stunting events in Indonesia have fallen by around 7% in the last 5 years. That declined nationally has not been followed by a decrease in the prevalence of stunting in all primary health care (PHC), one of the PHC in Gunung Kidul Regency, has been able to reduce stunting prevalence in the last 3 years. The purpose of this study was to find out how the challenges and implementation faced by PHC practitioner Gunung Kidul Regency to overcoming the problem of stunting. Qualitative descriptive with single case study design. Data collection was conducted with semi-structured interviews with 5 PHC practitioners and triangulation of resources with cadres and village government. PHC practitioners village government and cadres had the same perspective to overcoming the problem of stunting, but the community was still unfamiliar. This was a challenge for health center practitioner. In addition, the measurement of growth of children under five carried out by cadres at the posyandu was considered to be inaccurate health workers. Therefore the implementation of the 1000 HPK Movement places more emphasis on strengthening the capacity of cadres in capturing stunting toddlers and how cadres provide infant and child feeding counseling so that stunting toddlers were more quickly detected and stunting problems were more likely to be overcome. PHC practitioners do the same perception with the village government and cadres in overcoming the problem of stunting, so that the collaboration has an impact on reducing the prevalence of stunting. The challenge faced by PHC practitioners is to maintain the accuracy of the measurement of infant growth by cadres in the posyandu by increasing assistance.

The research instrument uses the Indonesian version of the Kidney Disease Quality of Life (KDQOL-36). The intervention was carried out for 4 weeks using the SEHAT nursing intervention package. The results showed an increase in the quality of life scores of respondents in the intervention group after being given SEHAT nursing intervention (p=0.000). There was a significant difference in the quality of life scores between the intervention group and the control group after being given the intervention (p=0.000). The “SEHAT” nursing intervention package is effective for improving the quality of life of intradialytic hypertensive patients.

Abstract

Diabetes is a complex, chronic illness requiring continuous medical care with a multifactorial risk reduction strategy beyond glycemic control. Quality of life in type 2 diabetes mellitus(DM) is one indicator of successful disease management. This study aimed to determine the extent to which medication adherence affects the quality of life. The method used by searching the literature of scientific publications in the time of years between 2016-2021 using the Pubmed database, Science Direct, Cinahl, Willey Online Library and google scholar, there were 2.281articles. The result of the literature review found nine articles that fit inclusion and exclusion criteria, it was found that several variables can improve the quality of life in type 2 DM, one of which is treatment adherence. Treatment adherence is a major predictor in improving the quality of life in type 2 DM when compared with other variables. It is important to develop DM management interventions that focus on improving treatment adherence.

Abstract

One of the psychological problems experienced by stroke patients is self-efficacy. Stroke patients on average lack confidence in themselves to do exercises or activities that will have an impact on the recovery process of stroke patients. Several factors that vary related to low self-efficacy in stroke patients are one of the causes. The scoping review aims to identify factors related to self-efficacy in a post-stroke patient. The methods use a systematic review through review articles relevant to the topic from CINAHL database, MEDLINE, Academic search ultimate, science direct, and Taylor & Francis with a publication year spanning 2015 to 2020 and with the keyword “self-efficacy” and “stroke” then analyzed using a synthesis matrix. The inclusion criteria in this study were articles in English with longitudinal study design or cross-sectional study and self-efficacy as the dependent variable. The results of a review of four journals that met the inclusion criteria found factors related to self-efficacy in a post-stroke patient including depression, age, vascular history, fear, physical activity, Body Mass Index (BMI) and emotional function. The study concludes that depression, age, vascular history, fear, physical activity, Body Mass Index (BMI) and emotional function are factors related to self-efficacy in post-stroke patients. The factor most strongly associated with post-stroke patients self-efficacy is depression.

Abstract

In Indonesia, stunting is still a chronic nutritional problem. Many factors influence the prevalence of stunting, including a history of exclusive breastfeeding and the frequency of complementary feeding. The purpose of this study is to determine how much of an impact the exclusive breastfeeding and frequency of complementary feeding has on stunting. This observational analytic study was conducted from July to September 2019 using a case control approach. Samples of 80 children aged 12-24 months, with details of toddlers case group (stunting) and control (normal) 40 each, with inclusion criteria of birth weight and normal gestational age in Yogyakarta. Stratified random sampling was used for sampling. Filling out questionnaires and conducting interviews were used to collect data on characteristics, breastfeeding, and early complementary feeding. Nutritional status is calculated using height/age. Multivariate analysis by multiple logistical regression test revealed statistically significant correlations between stunting and non-exclusive breastfeeding (adjusted OR for exclusive breastfeeding 5,17; 95% CI 1,87 to 14,31) as well as inadequate frequency of complementary feeding (adjusted OR 3,85; 95% CI 1,32 to 11,18). This value implies that exclusive breastfeeding and adequate frequency of complementary feeding are the most dominant protecting factors against stunting. In children aged 12-24 months, the histories of non-exclusive breastfeeding and inadequate frequency of complementary feeding are significantly correlated with stunting.
