Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of natural feed powder in increasing the production of juvenile fish. This research are conducted for two months ie from January to March 2013 in Hall Aquaculture brackish (BPAP) Situbondo, using four treatments with two replications: the use of artificial feed / feed larvae (control), Spirullina sp powder, Skeletonema sp powder , Chaetoceros sp powder. Maintenance is carried out for 60 days, with the frequency of feeding 4 times, namely at 6:00, 10:00, 14:00 and 18:00 pm as many as 10% of total body weight. Temperature measurement is carried out every day and other water quality measurement once every week. Parameter research / sampling carried out at D1, D20, D40 and D60 / end maintenance. Data the length and weight of the highest in the treatment of juvenile milkfish larvae feed followed treatment Spirulina sp, Skeletonema sp and Chaetoceros sp. Data highest growth rate in the treatment of feeding the larvae of 0.0093 grams / day, Spirullina sp 0.0075 grams / day, Chaetoceros sp 0.0074 grams / day and Skeletonema sp 0,0063 grams / day. Survival Rate Highest in treatment larvae feed at 99.2% followed treatment Spirullina sp, Chaetoceros and Skeletonema sp sp.. From these results it can be concluded that the microalgae Spirullina sp provide the best data than the use of other microalgae, microalgae use of powder can be used as alternative to feeding on juvenile milkfish

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of feed on diatoms and Brachionus plicatilis larvae feed banding, implemented Brackish Water Aquaculture Centres Situbondo July-August 2012. Research using five treatments and two replications that use Phaeodactylum sp, Chaetoceros sp, Nannochloropsis sp (as a control), Isocrysis sp, Pavlova sp. The results showed that after the larval rearing of milkfish for 21 days, the larvae length measurement data obtained highest in treatment C is 2.51 ± 0.1131 cm followed treatment D = 2.505 ± 0.1768 cm, treatment E = 2.29 ± 0.990 cm, treatment B = 2.245 ± 0.1061 cm and treatment A was 2.17 ± 0.0849 cm. While weight gain during maintenance milkfish larvae highest at C treatment amounting to 0.0782 ± 0.0050 grams followed by treatment D = 0.0712 ± 0.0028 grams, E = 0.0670 ± 0.0032 grams, B = 0.0639 ± 0.0023 grams and final treatment A of 0.0610 ± 0.0113 grams. The highest daily growth rate in the treatment of C = 0.00397 grams/day, followed by treatment D = 0.00394 grams/day, treatment B = 0.00354 grams/day, treatment A = 0.00335 grams/day and treatment E = 0.00273 grams/day. Hatching rate not so good and in the range of 60%, but in treatment C (treatment Nannochloropsis sp) achieved the highest level of magnitude that is equal to 52.80% and then followed treatment D, E, B and A.

Abstract

Humpback grouper (Cromileptes altivelis) is one of the leading commodity food fish seawater is prospective to be developed because it has a high protein content is about 30-35% and the cholesterol content is quite low, around 3%. Hatchery of Cromileptes altivelis held in the Hall of Brackish Water Aquaculture (BBAP) Situbondo Regency East Java Province. Activities undertaken is the selection and preparation of the parent, pond preparation, water quality measurements, spawning, hatching eggs, larva, feeding, harvesting of pest eradication. The feeding is done adlibitum. During the course, identification of problems existing in Humpback grouper hatchery did not find any problems, just may need to be re-examined on elevating hatchability while still larvae.

Abstract

Implementation way fish grouper (Cromileptes altivelis) were both preceded drying bath for 3 days, disinfectant such as chlorine with a dose of 150 ppm for 2 days, after which the tub is washed with detergent and rinsed freshwater. Before the use of sea water and filtered with filterbag ditreatmen use becarbon 10 tablets / m3. Disease-free eggs mouse grouper (Specific Pathogen Free) is confirmed by PCR analysis in the laboratory and Environmental Diseases BBAP Situbondo. Do daily recording include age larvae, the larvae conditions, the use of algae, rotifers density, artemia density, the use of artificial feed, change the water, siphon, water quality include temperature, DO, pH and Nitrite. Before entering the area of detergent and disinfectant hand washed using 70% alcohol, so also when out of a hatchery. After the morning activities floorspace sprayed fresh water, and once a week dikaporit work floor. The production equipment (slang siphon, siphon stick, dipper, bucket, grading and other equipment) soaked in 10 ppm chlorine solution for 15 minutes then washed with detergent and rinsed freshwater. The results of field observations indicate an increase Survival Rate of 7.5-10% to 17-20% with the quality of the fish that defects decreased from 5 -7% to 1.5 - 2%. Faster growth of fish where the total length parameter on the D-60 increased from 2.5 - 3 cm to 2.8 to 3.7 cm.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine and analyze the profitability of the business value processing smoked swordfish. Profitability analysis effort is made to measure how effective / efficient an attempt to make a profit by using resources (resources) that exist. The research was conducted from August to October 2012, with research sites in the Village Anchor, Situbondo. Stages of research conducted through direct interviews (depth interview) to key persons (processors), using a semi-structured questionnaire, followed by fumigation business financial feasibility studies. Test methods for the analysis of profitability fumigation is done by calculating the value of profits, the ratio of R/C, and the ROI. The results showed that the capital used by a smoked tuna fish processing business is Rp. 409 967 550,-/year with receipts amounting to Rp. 540 000 000,-/year and profits of Rp. 130 032 450,-/ year. The result of the calculation of the ratio of R/C at 1,31/year showed that smoked tuna fish processing business that is efficient and well-deserved. As for the value ROI of 13.4%/year showed that smoked tuna fish processing business profitable to continue to be developed. Smoked tuna fish processing based on local wisdom in the village Anchor, Situbondo has the potential to be maintained as one of processed fishery products are worth and provide benefits to increased prosperity Situbondo that its presence needs to be maintained.

Abstract

Research conducted at the Laboratory of Fishery Products Processing Technology Aperik Ibrahimy and laboratory of Agricultural Technology UB Malang. The materials used in this study is the meat waste meat red snapper (Lutjanus sanguineus) 1 kg, duck eggs (10%, 20% and 30% of the weight of the dough. From this study showed that the addition of concentration duck egg provides real difference the color, aroma, protein content, water and fat. From the results, it can be concluded that the best concentration of the addition of a duck egg on fish balls is 10%.

Abstract

Fishery product processing industry consumes water reaches 20 m3 / ton of product produced depending on the technology used, the type of fish that is processed and the resulting product. The resulting liquid waste containing organic matter with loads up to 20 kg BOD / ton. The highest burden of waste which comes from the canning industry and the manufacture of fishmeal (fishmeal). New sewage processed aims to eliminate organic load, has not reached the preliminary total nitrogen contained therein. The content of nitrite and nitrate are still high will lower the quality of receiving water bodies. Fishery wastewater treatment technology with a combination of aerobic and anoxic processes be a good option developed for the allowance of nitrogen contained in the waste
