Abstract

Execution conception of Islamic education marked with an institute, madrasah used to face several problems which relate to how education quality reached and fostered. It can be said that problems emerge in unexpected conditions such as poor of curriculum plan, inappropriate building management, environmental work that is not conducive, the problem of management that procedure and system are not in accordance, time learning allocation, and human resources, represent the unqualified education. Here, quality improvement management is viewed as a must. This article initiates in how problems solved and intentionally describes only how madrasah based quality improvement management is actualized through idiographic approach with an analyst of SWOT.

Abstract

Maxim, al-um madrasatun that mother is precisely a female, who considered has an important role in educating her children confirms that education and female are like a coin, it can’t be separated each other. In a history of Islam, the involvement of prophet’s wives as an inspiration demonstrated the truth of their role. Unlike female education in the early Islam, in which education acquisition was the same portion for both male and female as it is justified in prophetic saying. Abstract

The intention of pesantren Tebuireng establishment in 1899 aimed to produce the Islamic scholars who have a sense of nationalism. The establishment preceded for 13 years before Nahdatul Ulama established in 1926, whereas madrasah or school was one important thing to fight for as it was considered has paramount value for the nation. Through Jihad resolution, Hasyim Asy’ari (1945) confirmed the important role of education. The fatwa asserted on October 22, 1945, constituted a proof of his contribution to education. Indonesian education was believed that it won’t be conducted as well in colonialism. Hashim Ash'ari came forth with at least twenty one inscriptions in the form of book and treatise, which was dedicated to the advancement of in Indonesian education.

Abstract

Contemporary education has new paradigms, lifelong education and learning how to learn. To realize the two both paradigms, it is necessary to educate students in order to become self-directed learners. A self-directed learner has high capacity of Self-Directed Learning that contains self-teaching and personal autonomy. One side, self-teaching ability reduces his dependences to educators; other side personal autonomy ability increases his self-directed to learn. This article proposes alternative ideas of Self-Directed Learning, particularly on education methods to develop and capacity training of Self-Directed Learning in the perspective of education exegesis (tafsîr tarbawî) with al- Qur’an as the primer resource and of course evolved secondary resources, books of exegesis (kutub tafsîr) with some additional relevant literatures.

Abstract

The success of a teacher is closely related to the ability in comprehending the students’ growth and their development. Whilst, student development that was defined as a gradual progressive measured and coherent changes becomes one important thing psychologically stresses on comprehension of the basic process and dynamic behavior of the student. If not, trouble with education can’t be avoided as misdirection and disorientation. Hence, Islamic education seeks to integrate the student development that covers the whole biopsikososiospriritual. The effort is to guide and develop their potency as of they will be able to present the ilahiah values. This article regards the student dimension development as a holistic process in hope that learning can be carried out effectively.
