Abstract

To maintain power transformers needed security from tampering. One of these is differential relays. In these case that will be studied is the transformer differential relay MiCOM P645 by using RTDS to result showed the feasibility of the differential relay.Where control through software RSCAD. Detection function activated includes diferential function, the function of limited soil disturbance ( REF ) and impaired function CT when saturation.

Abstract

Of electricity demand is very high, so as to reduce the impact of interference on the network system, the power plants are required to operate Free governor mode. But the pattern of the operation has external and internal impact plants. External impacts PLN P3B generation transmission system will be more stable. Disturbances in the system will be normalized by power plants operating in Free governor mode. Ie internal impact plant operation pattern Free governor mode will cause the load pattern to follow PLN P3B. Expenses continue to change may affect the efficiency and life of plant equipment. The performance of gas turbines at the plant commonly called the heat rate. The higher the heat rate indicates that the efficiency of the turbines is lower. The results of the analysis of the performance of gas turbines 2.2 with patterns limit load operation mode and free mode governor Muara Karang Blok 2 concluded that the pattern of the governor PLTGU free operation causes the fuel gas consumption increases so that the efficiency of gas turbines declined. In this study, the test results after maintenance heat rate (Turbine Inspection) is used as the value of the performance comparison of the performance of gas turbine during operation with a load limit and free patterns governor.

Abstract

Interference is unavoidable in an environment where multiple wireless communication systems co-exist and work on a similar frequency band. Since a number of wireless technologies such as 6LowPAN, ZigBee, Bluetooth, and WiFi are all using the 2.4 GHz free-licence frequency band, the possibility of interference between them has to be addressed in any design and implementation of a WSN. This article initially identifies the causes of interference in WSNs and then introduces strategies for detecting and mitigating the interference, including maintaining physical and frequency separations between the victim systems and interferer and employing effective routing protocols.

Abstract

In this paper discusses the design of solar power plants (SPP) is used for BTS tower1500 watt with a off grid systems. Design is calculated technically and simulated with computer software to determine an estimate of the electrical energy produced by the solar module. And also, count the use of the battery if there is no sun or autonomy days.

Abstract

Bioelectromagnetism (sometimes equated with bioelectricity) refers to the electrical, magnetic or electromagnetic fields produced by living cells, tissues or organisms. Examples include the cell potential of cell membranes and the electric currents that flow in nerves and muscles, as a result of action potentials. It is not to be confused with bioelectromagnetics, which deals with the effect on life from external electromagnetism. Bioelectromagnetism involves the interaction of ions. Bioelectromagnetism is sometimes difficult to understand because of the differing types of bioelectricity, such as brainwaves, myoelectricity (e.g., heart-muscle phenomena), and other related subdivisions of the same general bioelectromagnetic phenomena. One such phenomenon is a brainwave, which neurophysiology studies, where bioelectromagnetic fluctuations of voltage between parts of the cerebral cortex are detectable with an electroencephalograph. This is primarily studied in the brain by way of electroencephalograms

Abstract

In the future, the greater of the consumption energy, the use of diverse energy sources can not be avoided. Therefore, assessment of the various sources of energy technologies continue to be developed. Photovoltaic technologies that convert solar energy directly into electrical energy using semiconductor devices called solar cells. Solar energy apart easily obtained from natural, environmentally friendly too which does not produce CO2 emissions to become a mainstay in the world of technology. The problem is how to use solar panels to get optimal production of electrical energy as solar panels are generally placed at a certain position without change.The design of this solar cells, built at roof over an area of 50 m2 has a power output of 6 kWp with the installation of solar panels with a slope of 6 degrees which can produce electrical energy about 10,006.7 kWh per year. It is connected to the grid (grid connected) without battery. For the manufacture of solar investment of Rp. 445.453.328, - where the investment already include the cost of maintenance and life cycle costs over 25 years.

Abstract

To go to JDPT, improving the capability and reliability of the systems associated therewith, both switching system or transmission media becomes very important. One of the transmission medium that supports JDPT is a submarine cable which is better known fiber cable optick. Fiber optic cable is suitable for transmission of digital and analog, has a damping small and wide bandwidth, flexible to increase channel capacity and have a diameter or size is small and the way the installation is also not much different from the usual multipair cable. The use of fiber optics is increasingly widespread, so some efforts to reduce losses arising from the installation of fiber optic cables is still being done to improve the quality of fiber optic transmission.

Abstract

With the development of technology in the industrial market today , many factories - factories require DCS (Distributed Control System) to control the process equipment at the plant. DCS function to read the response is rapid in plant equipment has been fitted with sensors . In this paper will be analyzed the use of DCS in the polymerization process at the factory PT Indorama Synthetics are located in Jatiluhur - Purwakarta , West Java . At PT Indorama Synthetics polymerization process using CENTUM DCS 3000 that can control and monitor every machine connected to the DCS . With the use of DCS , factory PT . Indorama Synthetics can mengontol flow from the tank PTA and EG tank that produces an output flow of 10423 kg / h.

Abstract

Means the latest in low voltage distribution systems for the provision of electric power supply before it gets to the customer, which generally are household customers. For medium voltage electric power system, the direct distribution system by using medium voltage 20 kV to substations - distribution substations then poured into PHB - TR and through the low voltage network forwarded kepelanggan. Medium voltage networks frequent disruptions. The cause - the cause disturbances in the portal substations and low voltage distribution systems. This research will discuss the disorder - disruption in the distribution on the type of portal. With a determines a disturbance more quickly, it can minimize the occurrence of a power outage.

Abstract

In this research, RFID is used as an electronic key opener safety deposit box (locker) which exist in the location (public areas) , such as equipment filler battery on electronic devices gadgets using solar energy , thus the resources of electronic lock uses battery filled through solar. System electronic lock solenoid doorlock working with RFID tag and RFID reader with Arduino UNO. From the test results, the RFID tag can recognize RFID reader with a reading at a distance of 6 cm. The results of this study applied to the locker battery gadget charger with solar energy.
