Abstract

The background that drives this research is the fifth grade students of SD Kanisius Hasanudin Semarang who have very good learning activeness. Class V students are so enthusiastic when learning takes place. This can be seen from the response of students when the teacher gives small questions and students will scramble to raise their hands to answer questions from the teacher. Then the researcher wants to know whether the application of the Problem Based Learning model of learning students is more active in learning science. In addition, researchers also want to know what are the factors that influence the learning activities of fifth grade students of SD Kanisius Hasanudin Semarang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection in this study was carried out by the method: interview, observation, questionnaire and documentation. The results of the study based on interviews with the teacher said that students were more active with the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model.

Abstract

The challenge to prepare power plant operators quickly, precisely and effectively is faced by PT XYZ Services in order to grow, develop and contribute to the 35,000 MW Electricity Supply Program. The right training model is required to achieve that goal. This experimental study aims to find more appropriate training models to be implemented in preparing competent power plant operators in a shorter period of time between experiential learning models and conventional learning models. The study intends to determine the impact of experiential learning models on increasing the competence of power plant operators. Based on the data analysis and discussion, findings were obtained: 1)there are differences in all aspects of operator competencies between the operators who learn with experiential learning model and those who learn with conventional models; 2)there are no differences in the aspect of Understanding Equipment & Work Procedure between the operators who learn with experiential learning models and the operators who learn with conventional models; 3)there are differences in the Problem-Solving Ability aspect between the operators who learn with experiential learning models and the operators who learn with conventional models and 4)Experiential learning models have an impact on improving the power plant operator competencies, especially on the Problem-Solving Ability aspect.

Abstract

This study aims to produce an environmental-based Sociolinguistic learning model. The research method used is ADDIE model development research with stage (1) analysis, stage (2) design, stage (3) development, stage (4) implementation, stage (5) evaluation, and stage (6) production. The results of product trials, both stage one tests showed an increase in the average of 6.1 to 8.01. In the second phase of testing too, from 4.61 increased to 5.94. These results illustrate that the teaching material produced is suitable for use. In the t-test of the product in the small group, the average score of 4.56 was seen, while in the post-test it showed an average of 4.74, and the t-count of 8,099 was still greater than the t-table of 2,132, so the difference was very significant. Likewise, in the large group test, the parates average was 7.84, while the average post-test was 8.50, and the t-test was 9.573, which was also still greater than the t-table 2.132, so the difference was very significant. Based on the results of the study, an environment-based sociolinguistic learning model produced from this study is feasible to use. Syllabus and sociolinguistic learning models based on the environment produced from this research are very in accordance with the needs of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Jambi University in taking Sociolinguistics Courses.

Abstract

Kelas XI MIPA 4 di SMA Negeri Kauman yang semestinya sudah mulai mempunyai kemampuan untuk berdialog dalam Bahasa Jerman ternyata masih mengalami kesulitan. Dibandingkan dengan dialog yang telah tersedia didalam buku-buku materi yang seringkali terlewatkan juga oleh guru (tidak disampaikan) melalui kebiasaan menyusun dialog sendiri diharapkan memacu siswa untuk menemukan ide-ide baik secara individu maupun kerja sama sehingga dialog tersebut akan lebih berbekas di dalam diri masing-masing siswa tidak sekedar dihafalkan. Rumusan masalah: Apakah dengan metode menyusun dialog sendiri dan memerankannya dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara (Sprechen) pada pelajaran Bahasa Jerman siswa kelas XI MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Kauman Tulungagung Semester 2 (Genap) Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018? Tujuan penelitian:untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan menyusun dialog sendiri dan memerankannya sebagai sebuah metode terhadap kemampuan berbicara/Sprechen. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Hasil penelitian, ada peningkatan hasil kemampuan berbicara dengan menggunakan metode role playing dan menyusun sendiri dialog. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa, berdasarkan perhitungan analisis data yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berbicara siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan maksud bahwa dari frekwensi data tersebut diketahui kategori kurang dalam prestasi belajar adalah nilai 45-54 dengan frekwensi 0 dan prosentase 0.00%, kategori prestasi belajar sedang dengan frekwensi dari 8 menjadi 1 dan prosentase 3.33%, cukup adalah dengan frekwensi tetap 11 dan prosentase 36.67%, prestasi baik dengan frekwensi 9 menjadi 12 dan prosentase 40% prestasi sangat baik adalah nilai dengan frekwensi 2 menjadi 6 dan prosentase 20%.

Abstract

This research is motivated because there is a low motivation to learn grade IV students due to the lack of use of learning media used for teaching and learning by the teacher. With the application of Scribd learning media, students are more motivated to learn in class. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) where in this study there were two cycles consisting of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting in each cycle. While the subjects in this study were grade IV students, amounting to 20 students. Then the data collection techniques used in this study are by using observası and questionnaires. On the results of observations of teacher activity obtained from the results of the first cycle with a score of 41 with a percentage of 64.0% categorized as good and the second cycle the score became 61 with a percentage of 95.3% categorized as very good so thus the observation of teacher activity is said to increase, on the results of observations of student activities the first cycle with a score of 35 with a percentage of 58.3% was categorized as sufficient, in the second cycle the score became 57 with a percentage of 95.0% with a very good category. Therefore the observation of student activity is said to increase using the media scribe Percentage of students who have learning motivation categories good and very good in the pre-study reached 40.0% categorized as less, the percentage in the first cycle to 70.0% which has a good category so that there was an increase from pre-study to the first cycle of 30.0%, whereas in the second cycle increased to 85, 0% has a very good category, the increase from cycle I to cycle II is 15.0%. Thus it can be concluded that the application of scribe media can increase student motivation in the material Rights and Obligations of Indonesian citizens class IV at SDN II Pasinan.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran matematika di kelas IX A terkendala karena siswa yang tidak aktif. Kurangnya keaktifan siswa membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi tidak optimal. Padahal dalam pelajaran khususnya Matematika siswa harus banyak berlatih agar bisa mengerjakan soal-soal. Selain masalah keaktifan, nilai hasil belajar siswa juga cukup rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai hasil belajar matematika siswa kelasIX A SMPN 3 Kediridengan metode pembelajaranPencarian Informasi. Penerapan metode ini adalah dimulai dari guru menjelaskan materi, guru membagi siswa menjadi beberapa kelompok. Selanjutnya guru memberikan tugas pada masing-masing kelompok, dan siswa menyelesaikan tugas tersebut dengan bantuan referensi yang ada. Setelah selesai, guru meminta siswa untuk menuliskan jawaban di papan tulis. Langkah terakhir yaitu guru bersama-sama siswa membahas lembar kerja.Indikator keberhasilan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat lebih dari 75% siswa yang tuntas KKM. Berdasarkan data penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa pada prasiklus terdapat 44% (15) siswa tuntas KKM. Kemudian, pada siklus I terdapat 59% (20) siswa tuntas KKM.Kemudian, pada siklus II terdapat 88% (30) siswa tuntas KKM. Keberhasilan penelitian sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan didapat saat siklus II, yaitu 88% (30) siswa tuntas KKM tau lebih dari 75% siswa tuntas KKM.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to know the different influence in using different media on cooperative learning type Group Investigation in increasing the ability to identify the result of Indonesian society. The kind of research in quasi experiment with posstest only control design consisting of two independent variables, one moderator variable and one independent variable.Independent variable is the usage of picture media and museum model in investigation group learning, moderator variable is active-refletive learning while dependent variable is the ability in indentifying the culture results of Indonesian society. Research population is the whole class of the first yearsstudents both SMAN I Kauman consisting of 328 students and SMAN I Tulungagung consisting of 150 students. The research uses purposive sampling with the approaching class (class X A, class X B) and (class X C , class X D). Class X A and X B as experiment classes 70 student and class X C and X D as controlled classes as 69 students. Experimnet class is taught with GI learning while controlled class uses museum media. Data is collected with learning style test and post test items. The data results are analyzed by using MANOVA statistic with 5% signifikant level. The results of research are (1) there different between the application of learning cooperative, cooperative learning method investigation group type GI with picture media and museum media toward the ability in identifying with the proaf of means of follows media museum (79,53) is higher than picture media (76.21), (2) There different between active and refletive learning style toward the ability identify the culture of Indonesian Society. It’s tested by using MANOVA statistic with signifikant 0,000 < 0,05 it means H0 is refused because of sig. < 0.05. (3) There is interaction between cooperative learning of investigation group type (GI) with picture media and museum media , next learning style toward the ability to identify the culture results of Indonesian society. It’s tested by using MANOVA statistic with signifikant 0,028 < 0,05 it means H0 is refused because of sig. < 0.05. It means there is interaction between media, learning style and the ability to identify.

Abstract

This study is to develop a learning media whole package that includes material to two-dimensional figures with Palembang-based culture. This research uses research and development (R&D). The subjects in this study were students of class II, III, IV SD Negeri 3 Margo Bhakti. Analysis of the data used is qualitative descriptive with a percentage. Development of instructional media scrapbook Palembang culture based on topics two-dimensional figure with phase ADDIE. The results showed that the assessment included 1) validation of material experts got 71.61% with valid criteria, 2) validation of linguists got 87.5% with very valid criteria, 3) validation of media experts got 88.57% with very valid criteria. Assessing students' responses 1) small group trials get an average of 11.16 with high criteria, 2) large group trials get an average of 11.06 with high criteria. Based on the above assessment, the learning media scrapbook Palembang culture-based on the topic of the two-dimensional figure is valid or appropriate to use as a medium of learning mathematics on the topic of a two-dimensional figures.

Abstract

Beberapa siswa kelas IX D SMPN 3 Kediri merasa bahwa matematika adalah pelajaran yang sulit. Untuk menanggulangi kesulitan siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika, maka sebaiknya guru memilih dan menggunakan metode pembelajaran inovatif yang menempatkan siswa sebagai subjek belajar yang utama. Metode pembelajaran yang tepat digunakan adalah metode berkirim salam dan soal karena berorientasi student centered. Indikator keberhasilan peningkatan pembelajaran siswa pada penelitian ini dilihat dari 75% siswa tuntas KKM (dengan nilai 72). Hasil penelitian yang didapat dari data tes memperlihatkan bahwa pada prasiklus terdapat 35% (12 orang) siswa tuntas KKM. Pada siklus 1 terdapat 62% (21 orang) siswa tuntas KKM sehingga siklus dilanjutkan. Kemudian pada siklus 2 terdapat 85% (29 orang) siswa tuntas KKM sehingga siklus dihentikan. Data tersebut memperlihatkan terjadi peningkatan dari prasiklus sampai siklus 2. Dan keberhasilan penelitian sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan didapat saat siklus 2, yaitu 85% siswa tuntas KKM. Nilai rata-rata untuk kerja siswa di setiap siklus mengalami kenaikan. Pada prasiklus nilai rata-rata siswa adalah 57,1 atau di bawah KKM. Pada siklus 1 nilai rata-rata siswa adalah 74,1. Pada siklus 2 nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 83,2 atau di atas KKM. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berkirim salam dan soal dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IX D SMPN 3 Kediri pada mata pelajaran matematika materi barisan dan deret bilangan tahun pelajaran 2017/2018.

Abstract

Penerapan model pembelajaran TGT, akan mendorong siswa/ tim untuk berlomba-lomba mencari jawaban sebanyak mungkin agar kelompok mereka dapat unggul dan keluar sebagai pemenangnya, mendorong tumbuhnya minat dan partisipasi siswa serta menciptakan kondisi keterlibatan secara langsung dan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran, kemudian hasil belajar dengan cara belajar mencari dan menemukan sendiri lebih mudah dihafalkan, diingat dan mudah ditransfer, disamping itu dapat menciptakan kondisi belajar yang asyik dan menyenangkan serta adanya unsur bermain, dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai wahana untuk melatih perilaku sehingga akan semakin mantap eksistensi perilaku yang diperolehnya serta menciptakan dan mendorong tumbuhnya kesadaran menuju masyarakat belajar. Dengan kondisi seperti inilah akan terciptalah perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran/ aktivitas belajar dan pada gilirannya akan meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa
