Abstract

Subsidized fertilizer is one of the means of production is the availability of subsidized by the government to farmers and Retail Price (MRP) was regulated by Government Regulation. 87 / Permentan / SR.130 / 12/2011. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of factors as price, distance, number of requirements, and policies for the smooth distribution of subsidized fertilizer distribution and to determine the constraints faced by farmers in obtaining subsidized fertilizer. The experiment was conducted in North Sumatra province Simalungun. This region is determined by purposive sampling. The consideration is that the study site is an area of crop production centers and one of the largest users of fertilizers in North Sumatra. The population in this study is that farmers receiving subsidized fertilizer in the village Purbaganda. Total population is 328 families with a total sample of 30 families. Data were analyzed using analysis of X² (Chi Square). The results showed that the factors that affect the smooth distribution of subsidized fertilizer is the price factor and the time distribution of fertilizer policy. While the distance factor and the factors determining fertilizer requirements do not affect the level of the smooth distribution of fertilizers. Constraints faced by farmers in the smooth distribution of subsidized fertilizer prices among other factors, the time distribution of fertilizer policies and lack of venture capital to the farmers as well as non optimal preparation of Definitive Plan of Group ( RDKK ) at the level of the farmer groups

Abstract

This research purpose is analysed production increasing of cage's cultivication Nila fishes before and after accept PKBL'S credit and how much the PKBL credit application impact to productions level step-up of cage's cultivication Nila fishes at Sungai Ular village. This method is utilized production logistic of Cobb Douglass, statistical examination to be done by use of bifilar linear regression, t partial, t distinctive two average costs, f test and determinant coefficient test. The utilized data is cultivication'.s production before and after accept PKBL 'S credit which is year 2011 and 2012. Determinant coefficient in 2011 is about 0,972 and 0,975 in 2012. T test distinctive two average cost point out to assess t computing 12, 789 < t table 4,25 that is mean that there is distinctive between average cage's production before and after accept PKBL'S credit where cage's cultivication production Nila fishes increases after accept PKBL 'S credit.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of agribusiness horticulture farmers in the District Asahan. Research method using library research method. This research uses literature review method (library research). The discussion in this paper is based on statistical data obtained from BPS from various research results related to the management of agribusiness. From the discussion it can be concluded that the planning of horticultural commodities agribusiness: vegetables and fruits associated with the demand for commodities what the market needs gradually increasingly sensitive farmers, evidenced by the cultivation of new commodities of mushrooms from 2011 to 2012. Farmers have not monitoring the properties of horticultural commodity products: vegetables and fruits more effectively and efficiently, due to the fact that farmers are limited to post-harvest technology knowledge, so they tend to sell their commodities more quickly. Organizing sources of labor production factors in the family consisting of: (husband, wife and children) full of work in cultivating horticultural commodities of vegetables and fruits, has not been calculated as a sacrifice of production costs, because the farmers have not recorded in the bookkeeping of his farm . KUD as a supporting institution in increasing the income of farmers, can not be regarded as a pillar of the economy, due to lack of awareness of farmers to become members of the KUD, evidenced there are still a lot of farmer groups (Gapoktan) horticulture that do not have KUD institutions
