Abstract

Music Television (MTV) Networks UK & Ireland is one of the television stations that have credibility and existence in the history of international broadcast world. Its existence and credibility that exists since 1997 until today is one of the evidence of its good works and management system. Formulation on this research focuses on how the broadcasting management strategies of MTV Networks UK & Ireland is explored by 3 aspects: marketing, program, and technic. The purpose of this research is to describe the broadcasting management systems and strategies based on those three aspects. This research uses qualitative methods and theoretical basis that appropriate for the purpose of the research. The data written on this research are based on interviews, observation, and documents review. The result of this research proved that MTV Networks UK & Ireland has a great discipline management strategy seen from the aspects: program, marketing and technique. Each aspect is bound to each other, without one of them the success of broadcast management strategy on MTV Networks UK & Ireland is hard to reach . Abstract

The debate on the speed of time (travel time, the length of the process, working time) has been going on since time immemorial and continues to this day. At this time the meaning of the word quickly in human life not only be the size of an improvement, but it is also considered to be a measure for better circumstances. Around us, the conditions under which it can be said that the central human race by speed. Most of the time of the human life cycle of time spent on a job that runs in a high-tempo pace. Things like that make a man trapped inside a rhythm acceleration. Slow follow the changes are considered outdated. Not fast also believed would make the economic benefits will be slightly reduced. Instead, speed is believed to be able to make financial gains accrue and be used as an indicator of the progress of human life. That is, human life would be considered better if he is able to more quickly than any other human. Through research and phenomenological theory approach the author tries to trace the phenomenon of time. The rhythm of life of modern man feels faster tempo is the main focus. Anxiety that the authors feel the phenomenon push to make it into a work of video art. This video art is a medium of expression that is at once the author tries to explore the phenomenon of modern human life time which more quickly than before. Abstract

 This study describes the interpretation of “Caddy” in the animated film series Shaun the Sheep episodes of “Who’s the Caddy?” The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using a semiotic approach of Charles S. Peirce. The primary data of the film is presented in such a visualization of each scene. Data were analyzed in a descriptive narrative form based on mark classification in the process of signification that takes place in the triadic relationship namely representament, interpretant, and object. This study uses the approach to the concept of the mark that divides a sign into three categories: icons, indices, and symbols by using the concept of triangle meaning. From the results of the meaning of these signs can be drawn a conclusion that this study is interconnected. Based on the data analysis, it can be seen that Caddy in the series of Shaun The Sheep episode “Who’s the Caddy?” is a symbol that is full of messages. The message reflected through scene after scene that is presented by Caddy is an interpretant that refers to the object. In this case, it represents the three main actors in this episode, they are three golfers (Farmer, Shaun and Bitzer), in which each player is Caddy in a different context. Farmer has become a symbol of the Caddy, Shaun as an index and Bitzer as an icon of Caddy. Caddy represents interpretan, figures (Farmer, Shaun, and Bitzer) represent an object while representamen is a game of golf that has a relationship with the characters. Abstract

This study focuses on observations on aspects of creative ideas. This study basically aims to uncover how creativity of Kristiadi as director formed and how the manifestation of creativity is present. This study is a qualitative research, the data obtained through interviews, direct observation, and accompanied by review of literature that are directly related to the theme of the study. Results of subsequent data processing presented descriptively, while the method of analysis performed by the data collection and then classify it, and then analyze it based on the theoretical foundation used. The study concluded, first that packaging program “Obrolan Angkring” is framed by creative ideas of Kristiadi, that is, thematic comedians initiated by Kristiadi make this program has the feel of humor that is able to entertain or the function of television includes three areas of information, entertainment and education can be expressed. Second, creative ideas of Kristiadi in the program “Obrolan Angkring” is influenced by five factors include (1) the presence of ideas, (2) creative consciousness, (3) awareness of communication, (4) social intelligence that generate awareness of the social institutions and (5) capability which produces the television media. Through these five factors makes the notion of “Gara-gara Facebook” as the theme of media offerings can be presented and produced. The process of realizing the idea in the form of display programs conducted through the stages of preproduction, production and postproduction. Thus through creative ideas, Kristiadi is able to improve the quality of the broadcast program, so it can also have an impact on the growing public interest in the program “Obrolan Angkring” produced by the station TVRI Yogyakarta. Abstract

This discussion is intended to know the form of display of comedy drama of Nglenong Nyok, and how this comedy drama represents lenong Betawi traditional art in its display. This study was a descriptive qualitative study using an embedded single strategy. Source of data obtained from informants, documents, books, audio-visual displays, and internet. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using an interactive model. The results showed that Nglenong Nyok is an event with a sitcom format, which looks at the troubleshooting at the end of each episode within 30 minutes and the fourth element which is characteristic of a sitcom that is the fact that the story is presented, the language used, characters, and place. Overall, the comedy drama of Nglenong Nyok as an adaptation display can represent a lenong show into the display, although the production process has undergone development in some elements. Still keepholding on guidelines (grip, Java) of the showlenong Betawi is evidence that the comedy drama of Nglenong Nyok is able to represent the lenong show in the middle of the television business that requires the program makers to be more concerned with profit than the quality. Abstract

Creativity can be done by utilizing the environment, natural resources, and human resources. Human Resorces can attempt to pour out their thoughts, find problems, and take chances, and viable solutions to publish. Creativity through the media can inspire, encourage, influence, and able to bring a positive change for the audience. The potential of these natural resources that need to be developed by the community at the same time revive, that the stored wealth needs to be raised (one of them with audio-visual approach). In this case the community (residents) as actors, not only as a spectator only. Their awareness that we must lift to play the audio-visual media. Something extraordinary in rural or are citizens can see themselves, relatives, family, and neighbors through the medium of film and television, so that it becomes an individual and collective pride.

Abstract

The main issues in the study that how the visualization of women in the movie  Wanita Tetap Wanita. This research used approach of qualitative descriptive especially the analysis study. The result that can be drawn in this study that the leadership spirit visualised by Medium Close-Up shots, meaning of the personal relationships showed by Medium Shot, the social relationships visualised in Full Shot, and the eye level camera indicates the level of fairness, equality or equal. Visualization of women who demonstrate leadership at a time when women are grappling with maintaining a job with patience and able to lead a family or can be called the backbone of the family. Visualization courage by taking close up pictures that have meaning or intimacy with the expression of someone’s reaction when they face the problem of women still smile and strong, brave women at the time of visualization to show her feelings to a man who already has a wife and children with movement of the Pan Right and Leftcamera show meaning of curiosity in atmosphere around. The results of the study showed that the movie  Wanita Tetap Wanita seeks to visualize the slick condition of women in fighting for their rights at each story according man’s perspective.
