Abstract

Tables, chairs and shelves son is a furniture that is used as a means of supporting a very important role in the smooth implementation of the child’s learning process. Inconsistency between the size of the furniture to the size of a child’s body is one of the obstacles in improving the quality of human resources. As a result of the tables and chairs are not in accordance with the child’s body size can lead to children experiencing rapid fatigue, impact for long periods can also cause health problems. This study aims to determine the extent of the child’s body size in accordance with furniture provided. Anthropometric measurements are very important to see if the furniture is ergonomic. Furniture tables, chairs and shelves children the focus of research because it is the furniture that intersect directly with the children when they make the learning process in class. The method used in descriptive qualitative and quantitative approaches, or can also be called a dual research strategy using a variety of methods to solve a research problem. Quantitative here uses numerical data observations in the field of measurement, then being compared with the references that used and next it is analyzed based on researchers interpretation that are from field analysis. The results showed that anthropometry size in use in the manufacture of furniture in general is in conformity with the size of children aged six to seven years, there is little record of the width of the table needs to be added, as well as the pelvis and the seat backrest seat needs to be adjusted to the shape of the bone pelvis and spine, or given soft foam to make it more comfortable to wear in a longer time. Abstract

Visual media is the most appropriate means to assist learning methods in early childhood. One way to use media arts to help young children develop skills abilities of children. Besides that, the media arts help educators and parents to facilitate a concrete method of teaching can stimulate students’ motivation. This research will explore the use of models of visual media arts learning for children kindergarten and the impact of the use of visual media art in children’s learning kindergarten. The method of this study include data collection, data analysis, and presentation of data analysis. This study used analysis techniques with step-by-step interactive model, which consists of three components analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Learning method that uses art media include drawing or painting, make a stamp from a variety of media, linking material by hand, drawing techniques with collage, and pin the pattern. Abstract

Javanese cosmology called macapat, the awareness of the concept of the world (natural) consisting of macrocosm and microcosm. Cosmology that contains the values of local wisdom that forms the personality. Cosmological construct the world in the four winds, associated with the four central figures in Malang Mask Puppet serving Panji story. Linkage with Java cosmology living conception in the minds of his supporters. This understanding is intended to understand the value of education, personality, and culture, to do with the conception underlying the existence of the characters in the play Puppet Mask Malang. Abstract

This paper questions the relationship between sound crowd and the principle of ludic that is present in a rite Ngarot, one of a series of rites farmers in Lelea Indramayu, West Java. Based on Homo Ludens by Johan Huizinga’thoughts and supported by its liminality by Victor Turner. many ludic nature shown through its playing principles, that is free, temporary, closed, tense, but at the same order. The nature of liminality is revealed through the presence of a celebrated rite ngarot sometime before the growing season in the early half of the rainy season, as well as celebrations carried on the threshold between the two events daily, or between an unusual event with a regular event. Abstract

Tahlil is an praying activity jointly prayer by a Muslim group of NU Ahlussunnah wal jamaah. The goal is for the ritual of death is usually done at certain times after a person’s death, such as 3, 7, 40, 100, 1000 day and so on. Considering from his form and medium, tahlil is the art of symbols and rituals that have meaning in the context of the text. Key words : tahlil, Islamic ritual art, death ritual.

Abstract

Basically, this paper aims to describe the motive behind the creation Bumbang made by Rembang. The scope of this paper focuses on Bumbang creation process, which begins by exploring data on family background, education, learning how musicians, both regard as a musician and instrument maker from bamboo material particular. This is done to get an idea of the extent to which it affects the creation motives of Bumbang itself. In this paper also describes the artistry and his works, in order to get a clear description of the things that encourages creative Rembang of Bumbang. That way, I can know what things are, who contributed so Rembang successfully create new gamelan Bumbang named. To obtain the necessary data, the authors use some method such as: observation, interviews, audio visual recordings, as well as in writing, either in the form of books and others. The collected data were analyzed using the theory proposed by Abraham Maslow who said that the motive for someone doing the activity is to meet their needs.Key words : Rembang, Process, Bumbang

Abstract

Personalities and figure of protagonist in a menak puppet show is discussed in this study. Personalities and figure are described by using literary approach. In this study is limited to the characterization and disposition protagonists or characters that are good. Based on the results obtained by this approach are common changes and developments, both in characterization and disposition due to the inheritance orally. In this case, the mastermind horizon expectations have adjusted to personal views, educational background, and social and cultural life, the development of characterization and physical character creation visualize growing. The addition of new characters to the physical form and disposition are also new, emerging according to the reception puppeteer  and puppet maker puppet show artists.Key words : characterization, figure, protagonist, puppet

Abstract

Setrek at Kedungan III is a type of traditional art terbangan or slawatan that serves as a medium for preaching Islam. As a kind of traditional art slawatan, seems to blend aesthetic elements having Islamic art with aesthetic elements of traditional folk art is a form of acculturation that reflect local creativity. The influence of Islamic art is not meant to change the overall form of the choreography, but the elements of Islam is more of a formality breath Islamic values in the face of traditional arts for the purpose of preaching the religion of Islam. Therefore, it remains in the form of presentation format with a touch of tradition Islamic breath. For example, the presentation of dance movement found hardly breathing motion Islam except Takbiratul Ihram Allohu Akbar, which is the figure Kyai Ba’in representation a scholar with typical Islamic fashion, Islamic airway motorcade given poetry book Al Barjanzi comes flying instruments and music representing jidor Islam. Breath of Islam is actually more of a legal spirit of Islam in the arts setrek the hope of all the players and spectators can practice Islam in their daily lives. Therefore, the media propaganda can be seen in any expression of Islamic values in relation to the God The Almighty and His Prophet Muhammad SAW. Thus every movement and musical accompaniment or poem in the arts setrek have imbued the values of Islam. Icons is thus important to understand that they can safely live in this world and in the hereafter. The presence of Islam in the breath of artistic development setrek looks enrich appearance, so the presence of this art in people’s lives Kedungan III boost the quality of the religion of Islam, although they were aware the remnants of ancient beliefs still characterize setrek arts, such as ndas-ndasan attraction in the form of imitating animal attraction . Variations attraction ndas-ndasan procession around the village with aim to expel the influence of evil spirits.Key words : setrek, acculturation, traditional.

Abstract

This discussion aims to find answers to Question: what is the background for the preparation of the play Semar Mbangun Gedhong Kencana and how dramatic structure and characteristics pakelirannya. The problem with this approach will be described dramatic structure that includes text and text structure tekstrur. Based on the obtained results that the approach Mujaka Jakaraharja background in preparing the play Semar Mbangun Gedhong Kencana due order and to maintain the quality he has the motivation, either intrinsic or extrinsic. Dramatic structure of the play Semar Mbangun Gedhong Kencana there are two aspects, namely the aspect of text structure and texture aspects. Aspects of text structure includes plot (plot), character, background (setting), theme and message. Abstract

The work, entitled “Bakisa in Lapiak Nan Salai” is presented in order to complete the study in Post- Graduate Program on Art Study and Composition at ISI Padangpanjang. This work was performed on January 1, 2011 in the Auditorium building Bustanoel Arifin Adam ISI Padangpanjang. The idea of this work is the description of the cultural life of the community charge Singgalang Tanah Datar, West Sumatra Province are always equal and balanced between earthly life and the hereafter. The balance can be seen in economic activity and religious traditions that are still patterned. In general, people Singgalang work in the fields or in the fields and mangilang taboo. From these observations, the phenomenon raised performer as basic starting point of departure or the creation of composition “in Lapiak Nan Bakisa Salai”. were poured through both sound sources in the form of non-traditional instruments and traditions. Source of creation of this work are artt works and some of the paper, namely: Work of Elizar Koto “ Dialog Without Theme” in 2000 (the writer has role as one of the musicians), “Encari Alternative 1”, 1994 and “Water”, 1996 . The work of Pande Made Sukerta “If Music In ....”, in 2008, the work of M. Halim “Kraying Samail”, in 2007, by I Wayan Sadra titled “Drone”, in 2008, and works Asril Mukhtar titled “Genta”, in 2010. In addition there are several posts as a source of study, namely: description of work tasks Akhitr M. Halim titled “Fanatic Bagurau Darek Minang people,” Mukhtar Asril entitled “Saluang and sang” , Suka Harjana’s writings titled “The writing of Contemporary Music, past and now, and the writing of Y. Sumandio Hadiyo Hadi ‘The Art in Religion Ritual’. The preparation of this work done the last ten stage works approved by the supervisor to be submitted as a final exam. The work is divided into 3 (three) parts, each of which has a different atmosphere, namely: the first part, has the atmosphere of peace, the second part of the atmosphere has faltered, and the third had a persistent atmosphere.
