Abstract

The development of information technology causes companies to be driven to improve their services to consumers, so consumers can easily get information about available products and deal with companies. In an effort to improve its services CV. Abdi Teknologi Mandiri decided to create an on-line system (web-based) for one of its business names namely Pulsa Kita which is engaged in the sale of electric pulses with a Multi-level Marketing system. This information system focuses on the concept of DBMS (Database Management System). This system makes it easy for members to find out the latest information on the company's products, especially the Pulsa Kita program, register new members, make subsidy transactions provided by the company, withdraw subsidies, and view the list of members who are at the level below it. In addition to providing convenience for consumers / members, this system also provides convenience for company employees, especially those designated to handle this system, to be able to process and obtain information from registered member data, make copies of data, change the appearance of the system, and configure subsidy system.

Abstract

Women International University is one of the developing universities and continues to improve services to stakeholders. One form of service that needs to be improved is the new student admission information service (PMB), especially dissemination of the entrance results (USM). In the current system the results of USM are informed through sending SMS (Short Message Services). After completing USM, the PMB committee must prepare a message format and send SMS one by one to USM participants. This way certainly requires a long time. To overcome these problems, the solution offered is to build an SMS autoresponder application with aim to mkake the information service on USM results automated. Method used is object-oriented method and prototype system development method to build SMS autoresponder application. Based on the results of tests conducted 10 times, the SMS autoresponder application can answer and send incoming filter test information, which is in the time span between 16-35 seconds with an average time of 22.22 seconds and the fastest time of 16.68 seconds.

Abstract

The use of Gadgets and Social Media at this time can not be separated from everyday life. This can lead to gadget and social media addiction. This study aims to answer whether the phenomenon of gadget addiction and social media is a scientific reality or not in Indonesia. Data was collected by a survei of 1601 respondents. Before the questionnaire was distributed, pearson product moment validity and reliability tests were performed with Cronbach’s alpha and the results showed that all questions on the questionnaire were valid and reliable. Based on the survei results, 42.45% of respondents experienced mild addiction, 10.82% of respondents experienced moderate level of addiction, and 0.38% of respondents experienced a very strong addiction to gadget. While the results for social media addiction, 37.50% of respondents experienced mild addiction, 7.85% of respondents experienced moderate level of addiction, and 0.38% of respondents experienced a very strong addiction to social media. In terms of the philosophy of science, Gadgets and Social Media Addiction is said to be science and not pseudo science because it has fulfilled the characteristics of science that is logical, empirical, and falsifiable. So it needs special attention from the community on the existence of gadget and media sosial addiction, so that this addiction can be anticipated and the symptoms can be minimized.

Abstract

Orchid Forest is one of the educational tours located in Cikole, Indonesia. Orchid Forest is often used as the location of events. However, not much information about Orchid Forest is available on the internet. Promotion and information are limited to the Orchid Forest’s Instagram feed. To be able to get more information, the customers must contact or visit the Orchid Forest. Most of the customers of Orchid Forest come from out of town. Mostly they know Orchid Forest by word of mouth. Orchid Forest does not have any other media to expand the reach of its promotions, where customers can get adequate information about the procedures and costs of renting event locations in Orchid Forest. Therefore, it is necessary to design a website that can present adequate information about Orchid Forest. The system approach method used to analyze the system is an object-oriented approach and the system development method used is the waterfall. The design of the reservation information system is the aim of this study. The system was designed not only as a promotional medium but also as an information system that allows customers to make a reservation for event locations and payments through the website.

Abstract

This study describes the implementation of a smart home by utilizing Arduino and ESP32 CAM with IoT technology. The purpose of this research is to make a device to control home appliances and monitor home security. The method used in this study is an experimental method. In this study, Arduino is used as the main brain of the system where Arduino will read temperature sensor, PIR sensor, LDR and control whether or not the lamp, fan and PIR sensors are active. Sensor data will continue to be sent to the server by the Arduino through the ESP32 CAM module. This tool can also send photos automatically when any movement is detected. Photos taken automatically will be sent to homeowners via the Line application. The process of taking photos, activating lights, fans and PIR sensors can also be done manually via the web interface by the user. Users can also view data from Arduino sent sensors via the web interface that has been provided. From the results of testing this tool has been running well where all sensor data is sent and can be stored in a database, manual activation and deactivation can be done, the captured image is sent to the user's Line application with percentage 100%.

Abstract

Good and appropriate government public services can be seen from the clarity and accuracy of service procedures, requirements, and timetables for completion. In improving the quality of public services, the government seeks to utilize technology by implementing e-government following Presidential Instruction of the Republic of Indonesia No. 3 of 2003. E-government hasn't yet been applied to Cilayung Village, Ciwaru District, Kuningan Regency, so residents still do not know information about public service procedures, there are still duplication of population data, a long time to settle in making certificates, there is a duplication of numbers reference certificate, and incompatibility of inventory data with existing inventory in the village. The purpose of this research is to overcome the problems of Cilayung Village governance in the process of population registration, making certificates and village inventory using information systems. This research uses a system approach method, OOAD, system design tools using UML and system development methods using the Prototype method. The results of this research are the village administration information system makes it easy for residents to obtain information on procedures and requirements for public services, provide information on the status of completion of certificates, there is no duplication of population data and reference numbers for certificates, and the corresponding village inventory data.

Abstract

Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) as one of the private university that provides final and thesis work as one of the graduation requirements to get a Diploma or Bachelor degree. Final Assignment and Thesis Information System (SIMITA) makes it easy for the thesis committee to manage data and provide information about the stages of the final assignment and thesis procedures for students. SIMITA development at UNIKOM was carried out to complement features that did not exist in the existing system. The features are feature for providing information or announcements to students about the final project and thesis and the feature to facilitate the thesis committee for setting any attributes that must be filled in by the thesis participant in each procedure that must be taken to carry out the final project or thesis. This research is developing information systems using Content Management System (CMS) concept so that the thesis committee can manage the system easily. Descriptive research method used in this research. Observation and interview techniques used as data collection methods. The prototype method used as a system development method. System design tools use Unified Modeling Language (UML) in the form of use case diagrams. The results of this study are the development of SIMITA which aims to provide convenience for the thesis committee in managing data and provide information about the final project and thesis.

Abstract

An analysis was made on the digital image recognition system for four Malay family countries’ national flags. These countries are Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam. The purpose of this study is as a first step in training the Artificial Intelligent system in distinguishing four Malay family countries based on the colors and motifs of the flags on a digital map. The process of analyzing and training the flag recognition used the Feed Forward Neural Network (FFNN) method. The result showed that the use of 4 Hidden Layers, as well as the use of 0.5 Learning Rate, gave the ability to correctly recognize the image of the flag where the accuracy of the presentation reached an average of 74.15%.

Abstract

Sap tapping is an activity of obtaining sap with the ½ spiral incision technique from top left to bottom right. This activity became one of the choices for the livelihoods of the Indonesian people because Indonesia is the second-largest sap-producing country in the world. Perum Perhutani Regional Division of West Java and Banten is a work unit that manages forests and manages wage payments. The wage payment system used by Perhutani Corporation is still carried out conventionally by recording attendance lists, crop yields, and for reports still carried out by recapitating the data in the previous record so that it is possible that during the process an error occurs in recording and the report becomes less accurate . For that we need a system that supports the payment of labor wages and sap that can facilitate the payment system. So in this study a web-based latex tapping payment system will be built by applying the waterfall model so that it becomes a solution to the problem and can provide convenience to the service of the tapping wage payment system.

Abstract

Assyifa Islamic Hospital is an Islamic hospital in Sukabumi that is very concerned about the welfare of its employees. One of the clear evidence of the implementation of this intention is in the form of granting annual leave allowances for each employee. To support the process of filing this leave required a good system by utilizing the existing website and smartphone devices owned by each employee. This of course can be done easily and more quickly because every employee who will apply for leave is only enough to access the website pages that have been determined. The process of submitting leave will be automatically known by the related supervisors, considering that the employee leave submission notification can be sent directly to the supervisor's related number whatsapp so that the verification process of submission can be done in real time by the related supervisor. With this system, the data recapitulation process will take place faster because employee leave is very influential on the employee service schedule of each division in the Sukabumi Assyifa Department, which in turn will have an impact on giving incentives to each employee.
