Abstract

Adoption of children is one of the noble ways for couples who have not been blessed with children. The presence of an adopted child is expected to fill the lonely days of husband and wife, even sometimes many couples make their adopted children as a "lure" so that later they will have their own child. In Islamic law, in principle, an adopted child is not prohibited as long as it involves nurturing, educating and caring for him/her, however, the adopted child is not considered to become the heir or obtain inheritance if it is connected or associated with his/her legal position in Islamic law. Child is a person who must be protected from everything that can make it difficult for him/her, to be able to provide a good deed done by his/her parents, and with Hadhanah (the right to custody of a child under Sharia Law), it is very important that this Hadhanah is handed over to the mother because it is a job that requires a lot of responsibility and persistence in doing so.

Abstract

Fostering children's interest in learning is very important because interest is the most convincing foundation for the success of the existing learning process. Ensuring for the success of the learning process of the children is important. Therefore, the children may develop the potential of interests in themselves, so without coercion the children will learn on their own. Basically, there are three factors that influence the emergence of children's interest in learning, which are talent, environmental influence and individual interest. Talent is one of the factors that children are born with, so talent is not something that has happened. It is not formed when an individual is born, but only potentials. Environment, interest in the development of one's life, therefore life between the environment and the family must be improved. Individual interest, in this case the state of one's health, greatly influences the emergence of interest, therefore the health of the body must also be maintained, both from internal and external disturbances.

Abstract

Children need education to increase their roles in society. Children education through formal, non-formal, and/or informal education is held to improve the quality of children's skills. Given the huge and importance of the process of parenting education, hence this study aims to determine the influence of parenting on children. Children are great blessings people must be grateful for, hence they deserve the best parenting by their parents. However, parents still treat their children differently. This discussion aims to identify various styles or methods of parenting and their impacts on children. This discussion consisted of four types of parenting proposed by Eisenburg et al. These parenting types are more specific and focused on children’s gender development than other parenting styles that are more general. The four types of parenting are channeling/shaping, direct introduction, differential treatment, and models. There are four types of parenting model according to some psychologists, which are authoritative parenting, neglectful parenting, permissive parenting, and democratic parenting. These four types have their own impacts. While some other opinions believe that authoritative parenting style has 6 (six) parenting styles, which are: Accept children's opinion, Ask about children's mistakes without accusing them, Give advice upon their mistakes, Give appreciation, Give presents, and Facilitate their hobbies.

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of mothers as single parents in developing their children's intelligence at the age of 4-6 years. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a single variable, namely social intelligence. Social intelligence consists of aspects of social sensitivity, social insight, and social communication. This aspect of social intelligence must be possessed by early childhood. Abstract

The rapid urban development is the goal of many regions in Indonesia. However, urban development often creates new problems, including homeless and children/women beggars. A number of tactical steps have been carried out by the government in reducing the number of homeless and child/women beggars in Indonesia. One of them is through a normative approach, which is regional regulations, as applied in Palu, Central Sulawesi by issuing Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2018 on the management of homeless people and children/women beggars. However, these efforts have not yet reduced the number of homeless and beggars for children/women. This article aims to identify the effectiveness of Palu Regulation No. 3 of 2018 in dealing with the problem of homeless people and children/women beggars. By applying the implementation-style analysis of Grindle to evaluate Regional Regulation (Perda) No.3 of 2018, this research applied a comparative literature study data collection method from secondary data that the researchers had collected, including periodic reports from the Palu City Government and related agencies. In addition, data were also obtained from the results of field observation. Some points that were observed in this study were in front of the office of Regional People's Representative Assembly (DPRD) of Palu. The results showed that he implementation of Palu Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2018 as seen from the policy content had been optimized.
