Kata Muwazah berasal dari bahasa Arab yaitu (??????) yang memiliki arti kesetaraan. Jurnal ini fokus pada isu-isu aktual dan kontemporer yang berkaitan dengan kajian gender lokalitas dalam berbagai perspektif. Redaksi mengundang para ilmuwan, sarjana, professional, praktisi dan peneliti dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu yang konsern terhadap kajian gender berupa analisis, aplikasi teori, hasil penelitian, terjemahan, resensi buku, literature review untuk mempublikasikan hasil karya ilmiahnya setelah melalui mekanisme seleksi naskah, telaah mitra bebestari, dan proses penyuntingan. Jurnal ini terbit setahun dua kali setiap bulan Juni dan Desember.

Abstract

Tulisan ini untuk menunjukkan bagaimana kelompok masyarakat (pokmas) perempuan Keagamaan keterkaitannya menggunakan modal sosial dapat memberi keuntungan ekonomi bagi penjual sayur keliling dalam bahasa setempat di Kota Malang dengan sebutan “Mlijo”. Modal sosial yang menampilkan hubungan sosial informal juga berkontribusi dalam proses bagaimana pokmas saling membantu khususnya bagi pokmas perempuan penjual sayur keliling dalam menambah modal usahanya.

Abstract

Imaging career women doesn’t always negative, women in Islamic law is allowed to work in accordance with their respective capabilities. The first figure of the Prophet’s wife Khadijah ra prove this. Khadija ra is the figure of a woman who is very tough work, international travel to Sham (Syria) and some other countries just to do business with colleagues spirit of honesty and openness. Khadija reimage as a career woman who could finance the universal mission of the Prophet at the beginning to the end of his mission the Prophet left a huge financial legacy that the Prophet could map the entire estate for the first time with the wife of a social solidarity fund for orphans, poor, submitted to the Baitul Mal and a few prophetic and apostolic interests. So, if there is a presumption that Islamic law forbids women work outside the home is actually contrary to the presumption of reality figure Mother of believers, Khadijah ra as a successful career woman in the running wheels of international and regional business in accordance with the principles of Islamic Syari’ah (law).

Abstract

Islam as a rahmatan lil ‘alamin religion (as a mercy for all creatures), gives genuine recognition and high appreciation of human equality. All human beings are equal, because they come from the same source, Allah Almighty. Human being can be distinguished to another by the level of his obidence and complience. As a logical consequence, each person (read: male or female) has the same obligations and responsibilty to fulfill and have the same rights to accept. Unfortunately, the essence of the equality doctrine is often biased when the understanding of Islam has been contaminated by the patriarchal mindset so that there are many different views about women’s status and position, which are considered as inferior to men. On the other hand, women who are initially claimed to occupy only domestic or household jobs, for example, they now have started reaching the public domain which was originally considered an unusual thing, consequently they must perform the dual roles as housewives and as workers. Along with the rise of the controvercy over women in these dual roles, this paper will attempt to review those roles of women from the religion’s point of view, especially how Islam regards the presence of female workers.

Abstract

politics is a gray area does not know which is right and falsehood. In the political world is not the technical term is “wrong” all the steps that must be “right” and “systematic” does not care whether the way is used hurt or benefit others. In the political world does not know friend or foe whom is eternally eternal interests. In this paper, Abu Ala Maududi is as one of fundamentalist leaders to write his thoughts on women in pakistan political activities that are not consistent in Mawdudi’s view. Maududi never support a woman become president by supporting the candidacy of Fatimah Ali Jinnah became President of Pakistan, and on the other hand he states that women should only work in the domestic sector where she should not be working in the public sector, including the President and Parliament. This shows that the political purpose for anyone, including the interests of fundamentalist Mawdudi.

Abstract

Women in the tradition of the heroic world of the archipelago has entered a “decisive” and “threatening” presence of people for some people. As a result of rebel attacks around the world pierced by gender, women should have a prominent place. But there are efforts to theological, sociological, and culture that strives to create a new birth of compliance “” and “spiritual obedience” to the world of gender, with women as abdun needs (subject). Compliance is sometimes a real tangible in silence as a zombie “-a woman who in her” by the attacks that are considered absolute doctrine. Not a few of them accept injustice, alienation, and even violence that never imagined before. Abstract

We have almost all walks of life, echoes of the emancipation of women is sticking up all for human rights as a woman who has not had a chance they occupy the position, honor, glory and freedom is equal to a man of many dimensions of life. Islam as part of a religion, it is just very concerned with aspects of the “humanization of women”. Abstract

The discussion of polygamy is always interesting to peel. Both groups pro or reject polygamy “as if ” race to show the public the reasons and rationale for them. Not infrequently “war” clause (more precisely) the interpretation of polygamy verses (Surah An-Nisa ‘: 3) coloring the debate discourse above. Sahrur is regarded as one of the leaders who is in passing considered the anti-polygamy and doing a lot of criticism of the dirty practices of polygamy among Moslems. However, if further research is inconsistency in the logic of his interpretations. On the one hand, Sahrur is against polygamy, even if it is only allowed for those who can penetrate the boundaries and strict rules of polygamy. Abstract

This article is an observation for nearly four years in the land of the mullahs (Iran) as a country whose population is almost 80% are followers of Shia school, while the most prominent characteristics of the school is getting married mut’ah ‘. Among the ordinary people of Iran, the term is rarely used and tend mut’ah unpopular. They are more familiar with the term ‘sîgheh’. Mut’ah marriage is now rarely carried out by the Iranian society, even in the city itself as a city of Qom is the beginning of the Iranian revolution. They consider marriage mut’ah as part of the past and now no longer regarded as the Shiite tradition, but only as a scientific discourse alone

Abstract

Gender inequality not only shows up in the legal, social or purely political, but also gender discrimination in the field of human language which can automatically give birth to living systems which tend to marginalization of women. Gender inequality is in the field of linguistics partly contained in, the assumption of women’s language, mastery of the language gap between men and women, texts and language learning systems, and poor language skills and logic.
