Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kepada ibu rumah tangga dan remaja putri mengenai pembuatan Virgin Coconut Oil. Pelaksanaan kegiatan secara keseluruhan berlangsung selama 8 (delapan) bulan. Rangkaian kegiatan yang dilakukan terdiri dari (1) orientasi lokasi, (2) persiapan bahan, alat, dan materi, (3) kegiatan pelatihan, (4) pengamatan hasil pelatihan, dan (5) evaluasi terhadap pelatihan. Berdasarkan pada hasil evaluasi dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ibu-ibu dan remaja putri di Desa Klapagading, Kecamatan Wangon sudah mulai menyadari dan mengerti pentingnya peranan pengembangan agroindustri khususnya minyak VCO sebagai sarana penunjang kesehatan dan menambah pendapatan keluarga. Selain itu peserta mengetahui peluang dan tantangan agroindustri VCO dengan benar dalam upaya meningkatkan ketrampilan dan pendapatan dari bidang pertanian. Di sisi lain mereka juga bertambah pengetahuannya tentang teknologi pembuatan VCO pada skala rumah tangga secara optimal.

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) learn profiles of women farmers who participate in the management of integrated crop for rice by observing age, formal education grade, farming effort, social economic grade, and farming experience, 2) know factors influencing women farmers participation in managing integrated crop of rice, and 3) know women farmers participation grade in managing integrated crop of rice in the relation with farmers rice effortproductivity and income. Bukateja District, Purbalingga Regency was chosen as the research region because of model region for having the management program. Thirty members of women farmers were chosen randomly. Result of the research showed that profiles of the women were different from the age rate, mostly between 31-40 years, formal education grade was mostly junior high school graduate, the way of doing farming effort was mostly by themselves, social economic grade was on medium rate, and the farming experience was mostly between 5 to 10 years. Factors influencing the participation were women farmers knowledge about the management, the age of women farmers, women farmers motivation, field’s size, and the intensity of counseling. By using McNemar test on 5% error rate, it was known that the participation rate in the program influenced the changes of farming effort productivity as well as farmers’ income with intensity from low to high. Abstract

Some problems of poorness specially faced by peasant society circle in the reality remain to be something matter of urgen to be paid attention by various related parties. Internal and external factors manner partake to depress difficulty of quit of poor peasant household shackle squeezing. As for one of the factor which lately follow added economic burden of poor peasant household more and more weight is increase reality and rare of oil fuel (BBM). Along with the mentioned hence this research aim to identify characteristic of poor peasant household which is being face problems of economic social effect of increase of price reality and rare of BBM in rural. Research location specified intentionally in Village of Gandatapa and Village of Sikapat, Banyumas. Method research the used is descriptive case study with approach qualitative. Research informan determined designedly pursuant to various elementary consideration. Research result indicate that characteristic of poor peasant household which is being face problems of economic social of increase of price effect and rare of BBM in rural vary to be evaluated from: income, farm status of land, especial maintenace pattern type, status ownership of house remain, economic burden, wide of farm of land and also opportunity do conduct peripheral maintenace pattern. Characteristic of informant household to develop strength for coping strategies mechanism for overcoming problems economic social of increase of price reality effect and rare of BBM at rural. Abstract

The aim of this research was to study of onion development at land with high clay content by organic fertilizer aplication. The research was conducted in Dukuhwaluh village, Kembarang Sub-District, Banyumas District on February until September 2006. The research was arranged by Randomized Completely Block Design with four replications. The first factor of treatment was kind of soil (T) consist of Alfisol dan Vertisol soil; the second factor was dosage of organic fertilizer (P) consist of four levels i.e. P0 = without organic fertilizer , P1 = aplicated 5 tons /hectare organic fertilizer, P2 = aplicated 10 tons/hectare organic fertilizer and P3 = aplicated 15 tons/hectare organic fertilizer. Results of the study showed that there are possibility of using of vertisol soil by organic fertilizer aplication for onion development location. The dosage of organic fertilizer that can to support onion development was 15 tons/hectare minimal. Using of Alfisol soil with 15 tons/hectare organic fertilizer aplicated can give higher of yield than the treatment other.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan serta kelayakan usaha agroindustri getuk goreng di Kecamatan Sokaraja Kabupaten Banyumas. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survey dengan pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling. Data penelitian berupa data primer dan data sekunder yang diambil dengan cara wawancara dari responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan bersih pengrajin sebesar Rp.12.530.615,4/bulan dengan R/C-ratio sebesar 1,63. Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa usaha agroindustri getuk goreng di Kecamatan Sokaraja Kabupaten Banyumas layak untuk diusahakan.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara agraris mempunyai berbagai macam keanekaragaman hayati yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat. Untuk dapat memanfaatkan keanekaragaman hayati tersebut diperlukan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni agar keanekaragaman hayati yang ada dapat memberikan manfaat yang optimal. Selain itu dengan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni yang benar maka keanekaragaman hayati yang ada dapat dijaga kelestariannya sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan bagi generasi yang akan datang.
