Abstract

This research is purposed to find out student’s work attitudes for timber construction subject in construction major class SMKN 1 Padang, year of school 2012/2013. Problem that being identified in this research is the lack of employment for students of SMK; this is proved that they should have not only skills but also positive work attitudes. This research is descriptive. Population in this research is 16 students of construction major class XI SMKN 1 Padang, year of school 2012/2013, that performed apprenticeship. Instrument that used for data collection is questionnaire, while data analysis technique that being used in this research is statistical descriptive with percentage computation. Based on results found out that for student’s attitudes for timber construction subject is good with percentage is 80.89%. Key words : attitudes work, prakerin, praktek kerja kayu.

Abstract

The purpose of this descriptive  comparative research was to see the differentiation of students’ score of learning based on students’ interest of Construction Engineering Education “PS-PTB 2009-2010”. The population of this research were 140 students of PS-PTB 2009-2010. The sample were 140 respondens which was use  proportional random sampling technique, was about 140 students. Data used were primary data and secondary data. Primary data was gotten from distributing questioners based on students’ interest. On the other hand, secondary data was students’ scoring in learning gotten from UPT Puskom UNP. The result of data analysis shows that there is no differentiation of students’ scoring in learning based on students’ interest of PS-PTB, civil engineering 2009-2010. It can be seen from T test, taccount (-1,14) > ttable. Key words : Interest, learning result.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the correlation of the utilization of UNP’s library and the education performance of the students of Civil Engineering year 2010 of FT-UNP. This research is a descriptive research with the population of all students of Civil Engineering Department FT-UNP, Bachelor and Diploma in 2010, with 151 students. The sample is using proportional cluster random sampling method and the quantity of sample totaled with 110 students.The data is taken by doing interview with respondent that has been determined before, distributing questionnaire, and documentation in form of collecting information data like literature and archives. Data that has been collected then processed using statistic descriptive method by the SPSS application version 16.00. From the data above, it is concluded that there is no significant correlation between library utilization and the educational performance of students in Civil Engineering Department. This means that the utilization of library as the storage of knowledge still doesn’t have any significant correlation with the educational performance of Civil Engineering students in 2010 of FT-UNP. Abstract

The purpose of this design is designing the development of SMKN 1 Padang buildings especially for Construction Department such as ground plan, front view, back view, left view, and right view so the vision and missions of the school can be carried out to achieve education purposes.The design scheme was started from data collection that is consisted of location data, school master plan, guest data, student quantity, teachers and school administrator. The design process is doing micro and macro analysis. The rooms that were developed based on the analysis are classroom, plumbing and sanitation practice room, stone and concrete practice room, and also log practice room. Abstract

The type of this research was Research and Development (R & D) and the trials carried out at the Department of Building engineering class X SMK N 5 Padang. Object of this research was the development of teaching materials in the form of comic subjects IBG. Data collection instruments used in this research were pieces of expert validation, test sheets practicality by teachers and students, sheets effectiveness of learning materials in the form of student activity sheets observation and learning outcomes. Products and data analysis techniques used were described techniques, methods graphic, descriptive analysis. First, a description of the design of teaching materials comic form consists of five sections that cover, competency standards, basic competencies, learning objectives, content and evaluation. Second, the comic form of teaching materials have very high validity with an average of 86.47 experts. Third, the use of teaching materials were very practical form of comics with practical value by 80 teachers' responses (1st practitioner) and 76 (2nd practitioner). Fourth, the use of teaching materials in the form of comic implementation of effective learning by SBC was characterized by the observation of student activity that categorize well with the value of 85% and an increase in student learning outcomes IBG meaningfully in learning with the average value of the practicality of using a t-test correlated as thitung (17.64) > ttabel (2.09). Abstract

This research is based on lack of student interest in local content and lower entrepreneurship school grade from viewpoint of thoroughness criteria for student of construction major class X SMKN 5 Padang. Hypothesis that is used in this research is the presence of relationship between student interests in local subject and entrepreneurship school grade for student of construction major class X SMKN 5 Padang. This research descriptive correlation with total sampling that amounted to 47 students. The subject in this research is student of construction major class X. data in this research is taken by Likert scale questionnaire, with  variable (X) is learning interest, and variable (Y) is student’s school grade. Data analysis is performed in three steps: (1) data description, (2) pre-analysis test, and (3) testing of hypothetic data.       Data is analyzed by SPSS version 16. From results of data analysis show that Pearson correlation is (r) 0.668 and signification of correlation value 0.00 which is less than 0.05. It means that there is a relationship between student learning interests in local subject and entrepreneurship school grade for student of construction major class X SMKN 5 Padang. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to realize a conceptual foundation for designing an educational facility representative and accommodating at SMK 1 Sungai Rumbai Dharmasraya. This study discusses the planning and architectural design, principles of arrangement of buildings, land management and land requirements. Observations for re-planning is done at the school directly. Primary data is presented in the form of special reviews on existing conditions of existing school buildings, and secondary data in the form of an overview of the geographical and economic conditions of communities around the site. Analysis conducted for this plan includes the analysis of users at SMK N 1 Sei.Rumbai, analysis of the activities in the school, room types and groupings analysis, dimensional analysis required space, parking space needs analysis, analysis of land utilization and review of the and use requirements. This study produced a design concept that includes zoning, spatial orientation, the relationship of space, form and space as well as the achievement of circulation. This concept produces an image that is more supportive services school planningbased on education Minimum Service Standards.Key words : redesign, lang management, drawing

Abstract

Activities performed by personnel of KNPI and youth organization of the City of Padang are carried out so far at a temporary secretariat in a rented building. It is an unrepresentative building that cannot accomodate all personnel activities.  General Conference of KNPI of Padang City in 2012 recommended the city government to build aYouth Building (KNPI Building) as a secretariat for youth organizations (OKP) of the city. This Final Project aimed to plan and design KNPI Building that in line with the vision and mission of KNPI and aligned with the socio-culture of the society and the characteristic of the city. The design purpose is to produce an architectural and structural design of the building Design methods consist of data collection, data analysis, preparation of design concepts and design draft. Data were obtained from related literature, surveys, field observation, and interviews. Data were analyzed in macro and micro analysis to produce design concepts. Factors analyzed in design concepts were building acces, site circulation, sunlight, wind, temperature, noise, landscape and parking, zoning, space required, space requirements, inter-space relationship, space organization, building site plan, building appearance, and building structure.
