ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the increasing number of civil engineering graduates from various universities annually which will make the competition tight semakn college graduates . It is also triggered by the limited acceptance of the workers at the construction company as a contractor in the cityofPadang. This study was descriptive quantitative aimed to obtain information about the technical skills required contractors on construction services business in the city of Padang . The study population was a member of Padang GAPENSI year 2012/2013 , with a sample size of 16 companies Grade 6 and 7 . Techniques for collecting data was a questionnaire with Likert scale models that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data processing was done by usingapercentage. The results of this study showed that as many as 4 out of 24 technical skills required by the contractor, the technical skills are: autocad drawing skills with a frequency of 14 (87.5%), counting skills with frequency Budget Plan 13 (81.3%) and skills structural analysis of the frequency of 9 (56.3%). While other technical skills that are at a frequency of ≤ 8 (≤ 50%) expressed less needed by the contractor, the technical skills are: basic practice of building, 2nd floor Bestek, image projection, image construction elements, principles of statics, simple measuring devices, utility buildings simple, theodolite, carpentry, masonry and concrete, plumbing and sanitation, GPS, soil classification, testing concreate aggregate mix design, soil properties, bangunanan quality materials, electro-distance tool (EDM), optical leveling instruments, fluid and tools optics. ABSTRACT Base on the prasurvey, the students readiness of Industrial Work Practice were less of knowledge, attitude and skill domain. The research aim was to know the degree of student of XIth of Teknik Gambar Bangunan of SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh on the Industrial Work Practice during 2013/2014 periode. This research use the descriptive method. The research subject were the students of XIth of Teknik Gambar Bangunan who will join the Industrial Work Practice activities. The data collecting conducted by using the observation sheet, which were used descriptive analysis qualitative technique. The result of this research indicate that the students of XIth of Teknik Gambar Bangunan of SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh in knowledge and attitude domain were in the ready categorize of Industrial Work Pactice. While the skill domain were devide of two part which were ready and ready categorize. Key word : Readiness, Industrial Work Practice, Knowledge, Attitude, Skill.

ABSTRACT The aim of this research to determine the contribution of mastery of the competency of teachers with PLK (Praktek Lapangan Kependidikan) the interest to be a teacher by students of Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan of Civil Enggineering FT-UNP the class of 2009.This research method descriptive study conducted. The subjects are students of Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan of Civil Enggineering FT-UNP the class of 2009, that have implemented PLK. The data was collected using a questionnaire and documentation. The technique of data analysis was performed by using descriptive correlational analysis. The results of this research indicate that students of Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan of Civil Enggineering FT-UNP the class of 2009, within the competence of the teacher as PLK (Praktek Lapangan Kependidikan) mastery by 32 respondents (96.96%) including the excellent category and 1 respondent (3.03%) including the good categories. Interest of students to be included in the category of enough teacher which is 70%. While mastery of the competency of teachers have contributed to the interest in becoming a teacher of 33.87%. The research results, we can conclude the better mastery of the competency of teachers, the greater the contribution to the interest in becom a teacher. ABSTRACT This research aim to to express and know how big attitude relation learn to result learn eye of diklat draw with software of class student of X interest membership of Teknik Gambar Bangunan of SMKN 2 Sijunjung. This Research, background because still many student getting less gratifying value and getting value below Complete Criterion Minimize ( KKM).This Type Research have the character of descriptive by using method of korelasional. Sampel in this research is all class student of X Teknik Gambar Bangunan in SMK Negeri 2 Sijunjung that is 30 student people. Type and of sekunder which obtaining from result of student study at diklat draw with primary data and software which in obtaining to propagated kueisoner at class student of X Teknik Gambar Bangunan in SMKN 2 Sijunjung in period 2013 / 2014. Technique data collecting with scale of likert, technique analyse data of use descriptive analysis.Result of this research, is obtained degree of attainment of responder that is equal to 69,08 %, so also with result learn him also pertained is enough seen from mean mount attainment of result learn student equal to 73,17 %. There by can be expressed that there are relation between attitude learn with result learn student at eye of diklat draw with software of CAD, Interest Membership Of Teknik Bangunan Program Study Teknik Gambar Bangunan in SMK Negeri 2 Sijunjung. ABSTRACT This research is correlation research that aimed to reveal the relationship between students’ learning method and study results of 84 students in class X construction architecthure technique SMKN 1 Pariaman on year of school 2012/2013. This research is using purposive sampling technique, and sample acquired is 40 students. Data which is used in this research is primary and secondary data. Primary data is collected by questionnaire about student’s learning method, while student’s result is acquired from teacher of statistic subject. From the analysis, it shows that there is a relationship between students’ learning method and study results of 84 students in class X construction architecthure technique SMKN 1 Pariaman on year of school 2012/2013. It is appeared in t-test which is thit (3.352) ³ ttable (2.025). keyword : learning method, study result

ABSTRACT This study aimed to analyze student learning outcomes based on the value of the UN and the PSB online selection of class X in SMK Negeri 5 Padang Academic Year 2012/2013. Type of research is comparative and correlational research. Sampling technique that is proportional random sampling with a sample of 224 students. Based on the results of different test data analysis with One Way ANOVA significance value 0.766> 0.05, then there is no difference in the value of the learning outcomes of students who pass option 1, 2 and 3 of each course. In correlation with Product Moment analysis shows generate significant value 0.611> 0.05 alpha so there is no relationship between the value of the UN with the learning outcomes of students of class X of SMK Negeri 5 Padang Academic Year 2012/2013. ABSTRACT The research is motivated were less of class II student learning outcomes Teknik Bangunan of SMK N 1 Padang subjects Real Cost Estimate. Theresearch aims was to determine whether there is a correlationbetween the learning outcomesofReal Cost Estimate of learning motivation ofReal Cost Estimate of student of II Teknik Bangunan of SMK Negeri 1 Padang . This research is a descriptive correlational study . The population subject were all students of class II Teknik Bangunan during 2012/2013 periodeis 89 students , because the population is less than 100 then the samples were taken of all members is called total sampling population totaling 89 students. The variables in research were motivated to learn as the independent variable ( X ) and the Real Cost Estimate learning outcomes as the dependent variable ( Y ). Based on the analysis of correlation r value of 0.793 obtained in the strong category and test the significance of correlations obtained tcount 7.930 > 1.988 t table then Ho is rejected. Thus it can be stated that There is a relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes Real Cost Estimate students of II Teknik Bangunan of SMK Negeri 1 Padang, the meaning that higher learning motivation students the results of the learning outcomes Real Cost Estimate has increased. ABSTRACT This research is a descriptive study aimed to obtain a picture of the school readiness of citizens SMK 5 Padang in the face of the earthquake and tsunami. readiness are examined include: 1) preparedness, 2) early warning, 3) mitigation.Population in this study were residents of the school SMK Negeri 5 Padang are 1,457 people’sand 304 samples are used as people’s, the sampling technique stratified random sampling. The type of data used is survey data obtained from a questionnaire distributed to the school community. Samples were classified according to their profession that is teacher, student and supporting staff. Data analysis techniques performed by descriptive statistical analysis using the percentage formula then described in narrative form. Based on the results of data analysis has been conducted, obtained most of the students, teachers, and supporting staffare very ready for all indicator’s. ABSTRACT Faculty of Engineering State University of Padang is located on an earthquake and tsunami hazard zone. Otherwise, the attitude and curiosity of students at Faculty of Engineering of State University of Padang about disaster mitigation is still lacking. In addition, a poor level of knowledge implementation about disaster mitigation by the government and related institutionsis also still lacking. This research aimed to describe the attitude of students at Faculty of Engineering State University of Padang toward the earthquake and tsunami disaster mitigation in Padang city. The type of data in this research was a primary data which was obtained directly from the object of the research by proposing a questionnaire to the students and a secondary data from many books and articles related to the research. The technique of data collection that used in this research was survey and documentation. The technique of data analysis was performed by descriptive statistical analysis by using the percentage formula and then translated into a narrative form. The conclusion of this research is the student attitude toward the earthquake and tsunami disaster mitigation was good with percentage 72,4%. Key word: Attitude, Disaster, Mitigation
