Abstract

ABSTRACT Based of the lack of student interest in the teaching assignment. The purpose of this study was to determine students perceptions about the teaching assignment. This research is descriptive. Population in this research is the students of Building Engineering Education class of 2011 who follow and are listed in PPLK in half from July to December 2014. The sampling technique using total sampling as many as 52 samples of the population of 52 students. Data were collected using a questionnaire research as much as 39 point statements with Likert Scale Modification of four answer choices. From the results, the main cause of most affect the low perceptions of the students about the teaching assignment is the readiness to become a teacher at 69.47%. Aside from the readiness, other causes that affect the students' perceptions about the teaching assignment is the personality with the degree of achievement of 70.43%, amounting to 70.96% motivation, PPLK experience by 71.25%, 72.40% expectations, the willingness of 72.78%, interest amounted to 73.21%, and lastly, the low perception of the students about the teaching assignment is the order of 77.04%. The conclusion of this study, the average degree of achievement of 72.19% included in the category good enough. Keywords: Perception, Student, Teacher Assignment.

Abstract

Abstract This researchaims to determine of the most dominant internal factors to completion the study in college.The type of this researchis quantitative descriptive. The student in this research is student has been finished the study more than 7 semesterBP2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011amounted to174 student. Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to know the level of teachers’ difficulty in preparing learning material especially the lesson plan for 2013 curriculum. The design of the research is descriptive research. The population of this research is 21 Engineering teachers at SMK N 1 Padang, the sample is of 17 teachers that were taken by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert scale that used four answer choices for positive and negative statements. The numbers of statements in the questionnaire were 55 point statement. The results showed that in preparing the lesson plan (RPP) the teachers had high level of difficulty. Every indicator in preparing a learning material showed the result as followed: 1) The Formulation of indicators was in high difficulty level category; 2) The Formulation of the goal of teaching was in difficulty level category; 3) The selection of the teaching material was in high difficulty level category; 4) the Selection of teaching  method was in high difficulty level category; 5)The Selection of  media was in high difficulty level category; 6) The Development of learning process was in very high difficulty level; 7) attitude evaluation was very high difficulty level; 8) Ratings knowledge with a high difficulty level category; and 9) Skills evaluation was in high difficulty level. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the contribution of learning outcomes Methods to perception Thesis writing skills Education of Program Building Engineering Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. This study is descriptive correlational. A total population of 87 students of the Faculty of Engineering Education Building, State University of Padang force from 2008 to 2010 with a sample of 30 students. Samples were taken with a probability sampling technique kind of simple random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert scale that uses five answer choices. The number of statements in the questionnaire as much as 60 point statement. Based on the analysis of correlation r values ​​obtained for 0.286 in the category of weak (low). As for the results obtained from the analysis of the contribution of squaring the correlation (r²) is obtained for 8.17%. The result of this contribution, it can be stated that the learning outcomes Research Methods course contribute as much as 8.17% to perception Thesis writing skills students of the Faculty of Engineering Education Building Padang State University. Abstract

ABSTRACT   This study aims to reveal the factors that can hinder the implementation of the program the student class management education experience with populations in this study were majoring in Civil Engineering who was been carrying out Educational Field Experience Program in half July-December 2014. The research is a quantitative descriptive. The sampling thecnique using simple random sampling as many as 39 of the population 64 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert Scale consisting of 4 possible answers. The number of statements in the questionnaire was 51 point statements. The result showed that the factors that can hinder the implementation class management Educational Program Students Field Experience is: (1) Physical environment with an average degree of achievement of 71,77% are sufficient. (2) Socio-emotional conditions with an average degree of achievement of 74,39% is categorized enough (3) Organizational conditions with an average degree of achievement of 63,78% are sufficient.. Abstract

ABSTRACT Based on the Decree of DIKTI, to oblige to any universities in Indonesia in order to further improve the publication of scientific articles in e-journals. At Padang State University colleges, especially in the Faculty of Engineering, there are still many students who do not know about the e-journal and grammar write articles in e-journals and e-journals lack of use by students as a reference. This study aims to determine how much knowledge the students' writing a scientific article on the e-journal in FT UNP. This research was conducted on students who are in the writing of the year 2010 which registered incoming semester from January to June 2015 in the FT UNP. The number of samples in this study were 145 respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with Likert scale, data analysis using descriptive analysis. Results of this research, there are two indicators examined in this study and obtain results, ie indicators of knowledge that students need in writing a scientific article with the percentage 57.08%, including at high enough categories and indicators journal with the percentage 67.58% included in the category high. Abstract

ABSTRACT            From the data obtained UNP Puskom the large number of high school graduates from the vocational school students graduate on Course Construction of Image Building seen that vocational graduates can better understand the material provided lecturers, compared to high school graduates. Because, students who graduated from vocational already have previous experience the lecture begins, meaning that students who do not understand the material can be triggered to be more creative. The purpose of this study was to reveal the differences in learning outcomes of the course students Image Building Construction Department of Civil Engineering FT-UNP based school of origin. This type of research is the study of ex-post facto. The population in this study were all students of class of 2013 and 2014 Department of Civil Engineering D3 and S1 are taking courses totaling Image Building Construction 279 students, while samples in this study were as many as 164 students. Data analysis techniques in this study is the normality test, homogeneity test and test hypotheses. Results of the data analysis and hypothesis testing has been conducted, proving that there are differences in learning outcomes of the course students Image Building Construction Department of Civil Engineering FT-UNP based school of origin. Because, 0009 Asymp.Sig value <0.05 means that there are differences in learning outcomes of students in courses based Image Building Construction of the school of origin. Judging from the average student results based on home-school learning outcomes of students from vocational higher when compared to the learning outcomes of students from high school.   Keywords: Hasil Belajar, Sekolah Asal

Abstract

ABSTRACT The background of this research was the problems faced by building engineering education program students in which they were still lack of discipline, incompetent, and less of cooperative in doing the field practice of stone and concrete engineering-work. In addition, there were many students who got low marks in stone and concrete engineering-work subject. This research aimed at knowing the correlation of the realization of the experiment and the result of the experiment itself. This research was correlational research whose aim was to know whether the correlation of the variable of the research is strong or weak. The population of the research was the whole technique building education program students of Universitas Negeri Padang who took stone and concrete engineering-work subject on January-June 2015. The sample of the research was taken by using cluster random sampling. The sample was all students in a class chosen. The data of the research was collected through observation of the respondents observed when the experiment was in progress.The result of the research showed that there was a correlation of the realization of experiment and the result of the experiment itself. It was emphasized with the result of r that showed the value r = 0,917 with probability Sig. (2tailed) 0,000<0,05. Based on that data, it can be concluded that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, both the realization of experiment and its result have a possitive and significant correlation.   Kata kunci : Pelaksanaan Praktek, Hasil Praktek, Rekayasa Kerja Batu dan   Beton

Abstract

Abstract This study stems from the students who often procrastinate in fulfilling the academic, this study is to reveal and analyze the factors that dominant influence on the behavior of delaying the academic tasks or also called academic procrastination in students of Technical Education Building FT UNP, this type of research is descriptive and factor analysis. Descriptive analysis known that internal factors are the most dominant influence on student academic procrastination Study Program Building Techniques FT UNP is not like task with a large degree achievement of 56.377 % and external factors the most dominant influence is the environment with a large degree achievement of 70.051 %. As for the results obtained by factor analysis four factors formed and was named among other personality factors, factors laziness, self decision factors and factors initiative. Abstract

ABSTRACT             Based of motivated by the problems there are still many students of Technical Education Building that received low grades in courses Quantity Surveying. The purpose of this study is to determine what are the difficulties faced by students while attending lectures. This research is descriptive with quantitative approach . Subjects in this study were students who had finished the course in Quantity Surveying half of July to December 2014 by 99 students . The sampling technique using purposive sampling with a sample of 32 students. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire, which is spread by the researcher and filled by the students. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique with percentage. The results showed that the indicator of the ability to remember the students in the category simply by percentage of 67.58 % , while the indicator of the ability to understand into the low category with a percentage of 61.17 % , an indicator of ability to implement in a lower category by percentage of 63.19 % , while the ability to analyze low in the category with the percentage of 61.56 % .
