Abstract

ABSTRACT             This study aims to determine where is a relationship between students' perceptions of FT UNP in UKM with IP semester from January to June, 2015.This study is correlational with two variables and sampling techniques using simple random sampling of 65 of the 78 population. Data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert Scale consisting of four possible answers. Number of items in the questionnaire study on students' perceptions of variable FT UNP registered as members on the activities of UKM in the UKM (x) as many as 33 point statement.The results showed that there was no correlation between student perception FT UNP registered as members of the activities of UKM in UKM with IP in the semester from January to June 2015.  Keywords: Perception students, UKM, IP

Abstract

ABSTRACT       This research was motivated by the low of student’s learning outcomes in Drawing with Software (MDPL) course. The purpose of this research is to reveal factors that affect learning outcomes of Drawing with Sofware (MDPL) course of students of grade XI TGB SMK N 1 Koto XI Tarusan. The type of this research  is descriptive quantitative and the population in this study is 25 students. Sample was taken by using total sampling, where all members of the population was used as  sample. Data were collected using a questionnaire with likert scale consisting of five possible answers. The number of items in the questionnaire is 64 statement. The results showed that: (1) Internal factors, i.e. factors that comes from within the students, affect the learning outcomes with a percentage of 59,09 while the external factors, i.e. factors that come from outside the student, affect the learning outcomes with a percentage of 40.91%; (2) Among the aspects of internal factors that affect student’s learning outcomes, the most dominant influence is the physical factor with a percentage of 20.77% .Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Drawing with Software

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is purposed to reveal the contribution of campus library toward script compiling for student of building engineering education study program at State University of Padang.This research was correlation with two variables. Sample collection technique was simple random sampling that amounted to 31 from 34 students of population.Data analysis technique consisted of: data descriptive, analysis requirement testing, hypothesis testing and coefficient determination testing.  Research finding shows that there is a significant relationship between library utilization and script compiling of student with rcount value of (0.41 > 0.355) and level of confidence is 95%. Library utilization gives a contribution to students’ script compiling as many as 16.97% while the rest of 83.03% is caused by other factors. Keywords:contribution, script compiling, library utilization

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was descriptive research which aimed to reveal student teachers’ competence based on supervisor teachers’ judgment at SMK N 5 Padang in the semester of July-December 2015 seen from pedagogical competence, personality competence, social competence, and professional competence. Population of this research was all supervisor teachers at SMK N 5 Padang who supervised the student teachers in the semester of July-December 2015. Technique of taking the samples used in this research was total sampling technique which involved 35 teachers. The data were collected using questionnaire with Likert Scale which consisted of 4 alternatives. There were 35 statements in the questionnaire of this research. From the result of the research, it was found that the degree of student teachers’ pedagogical competence was 51,44% with moderate category; the degree of student teachers’ personality competence was 57,14% with high category; the degree of student teachers’ social competence was 65,71% with moderate category; and the degree of student teachers’ professional competence was 62,85% with high category. Key Words: Competence, Student Teacher, Supervisor Teacher

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak perbedaan hasil belajar siswa Kelas X Program Keahlian Teknik Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi antara pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan Resource Based Learning dengan pembelajaran menggunakan metode ceramah pada Mata Pelajaran Mekanika Teknik.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen menggunakan desain penelitian randomized control group only design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa Kelas X Program Keahlian Teknik Bangunan dengan sampel 31 orang siswa Kelas X Teknik Gambar Bangunan 1 sebagai kelompok kontrol dan 27 orang siswa Kelas X Teknik Gambar Bangunan 2 sebagai kelompok eksperimen.  Data diambilpada setiap kali pertemuan dengan menggunakan soal pretest dan posttest berbentuk esai. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa Kelas X Program Keahlian Teknik Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi pada Mata Pelajaran Mekanika Teknik dengan pendekatan Resource Based Learning lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode ceramah. Kata kunci: Pengaruh, Pendekatan Resource-Based Learning, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study is purposed to find out student’s perception toward counselor in report counseling where study population is students of Construction Engineering Study Program who have finished PPLK program on semester of July to December 2015. This studi was descriptive research with quantitative approach. Sampling was performed by Total Sampling. Study finding shows that counselor roles in report counseling based on student’s perception are: (1) Counselor guidance is categorized as good during PPLK activities that is 40.74%, (2) During orientation/ field introduction activities, counselor guidance is categorized as good that is 48.15%, (3) Counselor guidance during teaching training activities is categorized as good that is 46,30%, to which consists of guided teaching practice (LMT) in good category of 38.89% and autonomous teaching practice (LMM) in moderate category of 29,63%, (4) Counselor guidance is categorized as moderate during learning test that is 24.07%, (5) Counselor guidance is categorized as moderate non-teaching activities that is 33.33%. Keywords: Perception, PPLK Student, Counselor

Abstract

ABSTRACT SMK 1 Tanjung Raya Agam Regency is one of the vocational educational institution  that  has  a job to  prepare the  students  with  encouraged  them  with knowledge and skill to be able to work based on their own competence. Based on the graduate report data of the SMK 1Tanjung Raya Agam, there’s only a few number of its graduates that continue to work. To know the student’s interest to work, The Study about The Students Interest to Work of XII grade Civil Engineering of  SMK 1 Tanjung Raya Agam.This research is using a descriptive method. The population are student’s of XII grade Civil Engineering on January-June 2016 term. The data that has been using to collect by questionnaire. While the data analyzing method that has been using are descriptive statistics analyzing method with percentage calculation.The result of this research reveals three indicators of Interest aspect that are cognitive,  afective,  and  psicomotoric  with  a  high  category.  As  a  whole,  the Interest  to  work  for  the  XII  grade  Civil  Engineering  SMK  1  Tanjung  Raya students highly.  Keywords: interest, interest aspect, career, SMK

Abstract

Abstract Industrial internship (prakerin) is one of collective program between vocational high school (SMK) and industries which is conducted in corporate world (DU/DI). Prakerin implementation at SMKN 2 Sungai Penuh is disharmony with prakerin implementation from other vocational high school, from the beginning of prakerin activities to the completion of final report.  Based on this situation, this study is purposed to describe student’s perception to administration service, activities implementation, and supervisory of prakerin program at SMKN 2 Sungai Penuh. The type of this research is descriptive. This research is conducted for students of SMKN 2 Sungai Penuh in building engineering study program with total respondent of 47 students. Research finding shows that prakerin administration service in SMKN 2 Sungai Penuh is poorly implemented and unfits the guidance book, from 3 sub-indicator, one indicator is categorized as good, two other indicators is categorized as poor. Prakerin implementation at SMKN 2 Sungai Penuh is categorized as moderate for six sub-indicators that studied. Supervision is not implemented properly where two out of two indicators show poor supervision. Overall, it can be concluded that prakerin implementation at SMKN 2 Sungai Penuh is not performed properly. Keywords: perception, student, Prakerin.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to reveal the perceptions of students of Building Engineering Education Department of Civil Engineering about plagiarism. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population of this research is all students of Building Engineering Education Studies Program Department of Civil Engineering year in 2008-2011 as many as 94 people. The sampling technique using proportional random sampling with a sample of 49. This study has only one variable that students' perceptions about plagiarism. This research data collection tool was a questionnaire using Likert scale. The results of study indicate 75.51% students of Building Engineering Educationhas a good perception about plagiarism. That means students of Building Engineering Education understand that plagiarism is not well done. KeywordsPerception, Plagiarism.
